yeah, its really funny because in comparison Gohan just gets to launch a super, gets base damage reduction as well as his attack build up being twice as strong as Trunks'

This units gonna suck for people who are luckier with dodge, I love these super attack reliant character cause I'm way luckier with additional than dodge.
At 55% yes, at 100% it's like a 10% chance of happening. You have way more chance to do two additionals than none. I don't really get why people hate on this unit for it when everyone was praising Cooler which is just a unit worse than him in every aspect. Btw, going mostly AA, a bit of crit and some dodge in case of is the best build

He’s actually solid and pumping out a ton of damage, the rng of him though is the only bad part, however the fact he takes damage helps out units with hp restrictions on their actives at least (silver lining).
Lately I started to think if there's some unknown factors the devs are relying on while making the units,like understanding how the rng of game works when there's a specific unit in the team because there's no way they test these units and be like it's so overpowered for new hard events

Doing too much damage is terrible on dokkan because the no.1 reason you die in this game is piccolo junior,teq vegito blue etc. Killing the easy phase of the boss and now you are fightting rose or zamasu and rose with 0 chances of surviving in the new redzone stage that does 1.8 million supers and 900k normals.
Same I don't care if the new units aren't broken off the Start to try to beat the tougher fights. As I beat them I don't need to try to get a high score or quick time. I try the new units when I want to.

This is one of the cases where both units have litteraly identical designs but one was just given more. Both have zero crit built in. Both can do 4 supers but gohan just has one guaranteed, both have dr but gohan just has way more, and gohan's domanin is way more broken than trunks one turn of guard and dr. Its kinda silly. Trunks has to build up to 30 percent dr while gohan gets 80 percent and more addional supers.
Oh before I forget, LR Zamazu domain and my experiment with that for super class team setups, it can work for sure to use infinite Zamazu, but do be very cautious about how you go about team setups cause it can backfire. But with that being said, I don't think we have enough characters to fully make this work, it can work right now, but only with specific characters so I'll wait a bit before going further with this experiment cause it definitely has positive effects to it, just can't take full advantage of this yet.

I just realized that if you used his finish on standby skill in slot 1 and don't kill the enemy, you probably would keep his guard and additional super attack as the first attacker. And then if you get 3 additional super attacks he would have his guard and 30% Damage reduction for that turn. Along with his stacked defense. This is probably no wonder why we're not allowed to use his finish right away. Having guard, 80% DR and such high stacked defense would just be too much for even the worst in this game. I still haven't tested out if you can stay in his standby after 4 turns. This guy is designed so perfectly defensively Edit: 16:37 Nvm. He doesn't work like that

So, I will say that this Trunks is pretty good, but his major flaw compared to all the other characters so far is RNG. That RNG is a major factor on it for trunks cause A. Get his defensive stacks in which works similar to carnival Kai Goku so no complaints here. But B. He really should of gotten guard or damage reduction instead of a 70 percent chance to do another super, cause at least with piccolo jr, his supers feel more guaranteed for the same type of build that this carnival Trunks has but more consistent. To make that up for Trunks this is where he should've got damage reduction or guard for a few turns, speaking of which. Final point C. Why does his damage reduction both a build up from supers, AND only for that turn. That shit evolution blue Vegeta bad all over again and doesn't help at all. I do feel that despite Future Gohan clearly being way better, this Trunks is pretty good, but these issues wouldn't be so bad, if RNG wasn't a big factor on how he performs in general. I do like this trunks but only time will tell if his RNG will be good or not. And before anyone asks, please don't hate this Trunks despite his flaws in comparison to carnival Gohan cause we didn't get carnival Rose.

It’s because they tried to do a dokkan original for him when they didn’t need to, here’s what they should’ve done for him. Rage trunks first transformation. He then has the super attacks from when him and Goku fight zamasu and black with the whole sword throw into final flash. Then for his 18k be when he tries to blow himself up with zamasu. He could’ve even had a super attack nullification because he did that when zamasu and goku black chucked their duel bomb at him. Then he standbys into sword of hope where his first attack is what we see here but just better quality and then his active skill is just the full on sword clash with fused zamasu to the point he destroys him that’s how I’d do it

Also these units are planned ahead of time, not on the spot. They don't just make something new of the bat like that. I got both agl and teq zamasu and I am fine, and personally I don't care. So maybe YOU are coping for some reason. As far as an eza for the goku blacks we have... sure they could've side that in the part celebration. So I can agree with yall.

He was just a good pure saiyan unit who had a hard to use revive. Cell saga wwc, the lr android were ass. Last celebration, part two units aged quicker than they should, like as if they did help. Sorry, but this celebration is fine. I agree on the ezas for goku black being nonexistent atm, but I go for characters that I like, or will age like wine.

Its specifically his 5th turn so turns 5,6, or 7 if you meet the hp condtion or guaranteed on his 7th turn which is how most people transform so turn 7,8, or 9. A far cry from just turn 5 which is usually turn 5 or 6.

Not just that, he is pretty risky before the standby, and very RNG reliant as all characters with a chance to super are, much like another PHY hybrid saiyan that we know of (at least trunks doesn’t have ki issues), but yeah your gonna need to shot up those 3 attacks for the damage reduction or else there’s a good chance you’re not living with how hard bosses are hitting.

Managed to pull him and Gohan, and because of that, I finally have a good Trunks unit to run so INT Future Gohan can get his full potential. Busted ass team. As for the unit himself, he's pretty damn good! People overreacted quite a bit (for good reason, his DR should just be based on general attacks instead of supers) but i like him. Untouchable on his first standby turn, chills at 300k defense from his passive with the ability to stack more and get DR on his second appearance, and makes Omega Shenron a joke. (although you have to float him during the STR phase)

So, I will say that this Trunks is pretty good, but his major flaw compared to all the other characters so far is RNG. That RNG is a major factor on it for trunks cause A. Get his defensive stacks in which works similar to carnival Kai Goku so no complaints here. But B. He really should of gotten guard or damage reduction instead of a 70 percent chance to do another super, cause at least with piccolo jr, his supers feel more guaranteed for the same type of build that this carnival Trunks has but more consistent. To make that up for Trunks this is where he should've got damage reduction or guard for a few turns, speaking of which. Final point C. Why does his damage reduction both a build up from supers, AND only for that turn. That shit evolution blue Vegeta bad all over again and doesn't help at all. I do feel that despite Future Gohan clearly being way better, this Trunks is pretty good, but these issues wouldn't be so bad, if RNG wasn't a big factor on how he performs in general. I do like this trunks but only time will tell if his RNG will be good or not. And before anyone asks, please don't hate this Trunks despite his flaws in comparison to carnival Gohan cause we didn't get carnival Rose.

It’s because they tried to do a dokkan original for him when they didn’t need to, here’s what they should’ve done for him. Rage trunks first transformation. He then has the super attacks from when him and Goku fight zamasu and black with the whole sword throw into final flash. Then for his 18k be when he tries to blow himself up with zamasu. He could’ve even had a super attack nullification because he did that when zamasu and goku black chucked their duel bomb at him. Then he standbys into sword of hope where his first attack is what we see here but just better quality and then his active skill is just the full on sword clash with fused zamasu to the point he destroys him that’s how I’d do it

You guys wanted goku black five days before the part 2 livestream, and the sane bunch of us knew that wouldn't be the case because it is a z and super celebration. Also these units are planned ahead of time, not on the spot. They don't just make something new of the bat like that. I got both agl and teq zamasu and I am fine, and personally I don't care. So maybe YOU are coping for some reason.
As far as an eza for the goku blacks we have... sure they could've side that in the part celebration. So I can agree with yall.

Last celebration, part two units aged quicker than they should, like as if they did help. Sorry, but this celebration is fine. I agree on the ezas for goku black being nonexistent atm, but I go for characters that I like, or will age like wine.

@@arcadius3257 actually no vegito doesn't guaranteed get his full power on turn 5. Its specifically his 5th turn so turns 5,6, or 7 if you meet the hp condtion or guaranteed on his 7th turn which is how most people transform so turn 7,8, or 9.

Not just that, he is pretty risky before the standby, and very RNG reliant as all characters with a chance to super are, much like another PHY hybrid saiyan that we know of (at least trunks doesn’t have ki issues), but yeah your gonna need to shot up those 3 attacks for the damage reduction or else there’s a good chance you’re not living with how hard bosses are hitting.

Managed to pull him and Gohan, and because of that, I finally have a good Trunks unit to run so INT Future Gohan can get his full potential. Busted ass team.
As for the unit himself, he's pretty damn good! People overreacted quite a bit (for good reason, his DR should just be based on general attacks instead of supers) but i like him.
Untouchable on his first standby turn, chills at 300k defense from his passive with the ability to stack more and get DR on his second appearance, and makes Omega Shenron a joke. (although you have to float him during the STR phase)
