Deivame, if all people think like you, life will become much easier for many young ladies. Pple seem to think that a woman should make perfectly roubd rotis, as if they are going to swallow them whole. Anyways we are going to tear and eat.
The true ingenuity is at 3:15 in the video where she uses the boiling pot cover to make perfect circles. Reminds me of making perogies where you use the drinking glass method.
Bakwas- In the time that it took her to roll out one sheet of dough and cut 5 rotis, I could have rolled out 5/6 roti’s by hand AND cooked them on the tawa already. Leave the pasta machine to the Italians and ask your Dhadhi to teach you how to make roti’s the proper way
cool idea, just when I think of an idea the internet tells me theres already millions of people who thought of it ahaha the funniest thing is our moms/aunties/grannies can make twice the amount in the SAME time 😂😂😂😂 am looking for a convenient option to save time energy money with roti naan parathas and flatbreads overall, including pastry layers ei for samosas, patties, empanadas, rolls etc. using a rolling pin the old fashion way works well if got skills, but it also takes too much time n effort for us new age folks. Ive thought about using a heavy duty tortilla press which is a good option but that too has limitations and not great for all doughs. Pasta maker seems most logical (other than commercial bakery equipment), however I must say THIS pasta maker she's using is a bit cheap and dinky, if youre gunna use it regularly might as well buy something stronger and electrical (keep in mind here youre trying to manage time, effort, energy and money in the process of finding solutions). Good video, I got what I wanted so thanks for the share!
@@Smitty-op4ld Yes, you're right. Even kneading the dough, then making the peras, requires practice. Rolling them out to perfect circles is a skill. Kudos to those who can make a good roti in the traditional way.
pasta maker-use a sheet roller attachment. I used chapathi flour, which was easy to handle. I also tried whole wheat flour but it was difficult as the flour was too soggy to roll
The video is 3.52 seconds, thats means 232 seconds that means 50 rotis in that time = 232/50= 5 seconds (round off) per roti, Now stop faking around .. appreciate the idea and effort which would help someone who might not know how to make round roti or guy like me we want to help his wife/ mom but cant make roti round ..🤦🤦🤦🤦

One could use electric griddle and get long rectangle chapati. Then one step less , no need to cut them into rounds. :)
Yoooo, suuuuch a good idea! 👌🏽

I would have rolled 5 rotis in fraction of the time. Such a waste of time.
Not only can one roll out roti’s but cook all 5/6, and have them on a plate to eat in the time that she wasted with the pasta machine
