I agree. However timeline wise it actually makes sense. Resident Evil was released in 1996, and the Remake was released in 2002. Code Veronica X was marketed as a remaster and released a year later from Code Veronica on PS2. No massive graphical leaps there. Same with Re2 on N64 a year or two later with the graphics upgrades. This is actually a next-gen leap watching some side-by-side comparison videos, with texture upgrades reworked from the ground up. The game is 7 years old now. Was it really warranted? Of course not. But this would bring it in line with their PS5 Pro and it's probably why they did it, so they can advertise it on the Pro. I'm upgrading with the 10$ fee. I'd like to replay it again with better audio, and on my new HDR tv. It'll look stunning.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered gameplay. Captured on PS5 @ 4K HDR 60fps
Drop the video a 👍 Thanks to PlayStation for providing me with the game 🙂
Letsgoo
This game hasn't aged badly enough to warrant a remaster 🤦🏽♂️
Its never a bad time to take your money😂
