i am pretty sure 'stick around' was just 'trapped by an invisible wall'.
I have picked up birds that hit our windows, brought them inside, held them, warmed them up, and then when they seemed better, tried to release them. They sometimes don't want to go. I had to insist that the most recent one let go of my finger. Apparently he wanted to be held longer and continue with his little nap, but I wasn't sure when he would wish to launch and fly around the living room so I put him in the window flower box. He wasn't exactly happy about it. 😆

Thanks, my family and i saved a really small bird thats eyes haven't popped out yet, it fell out of its home and after a few days, we found its real nest and returned it back there.

I rescued a cocoo which fell out of the crow's nest and and crows were chasing it to kill it. He was like 1 month old. He couldn't fly properly... I fed him and kept him in my house without any cages around. He stayed at my house for 4 months. One day he left with his fella cocoos. But nothing really happened to me which has much good but many bad things though...

Over the years tho, i got used to it. I usually just closed 3 fingers like a claw machine. He just went with it and would tuck his legs and wings whenever i picked him up XD

@@mwamewriof course I do not remember the video and my comment after 3 years but it seems there is no evidence of him feeding the bird (I do not understand what that snack is on the couch either). so he got the bird out of there, warmed it. the bare minimum would be getting it out. I agree he was nice and maybe he could have only warmed it for 2 minutes in his hands and maybe with his breath. edit: I also do not remember whose claim was "he is perfect". maybe comments. anyway, he really is not perfect based on this. perfect means the best possible. he may be perfect but this video is not its evidence. for that there needs to be even better evidence of acts.

I wouldn't give the video a dislike, but it is a bit messed up that he is recording as opposed to going straight to help the little guy. I've saved and helped a few birds and have never thought, hey gotta get the camera first. not even mentioning that bird needed kept for several days. That was traumatic in the lest, and worse could have had severe injuries.

I lost a good friend due to a motorcycle accident in 92....I ended up with his truck I was given to me. Three week after his accident a bird flew into the truck stood on the dashboard and was there for hours. I'd like to think it was my friend Gary..

A very similar thing happened at my cousin’s funeral. A bird kept flying around the funeral the whole time, several people noticed this bird and were talking about it afterwards. I miss him.

Aw, we did this with a bee once, lol. Found a frozen bee on my car, took her inside, warmed her up, gave her some raw honey. She perked up and we were able to let her fly home about an hour later. Felt so good to see that. Saved a few bees drowning in a pool at work too. Poor things. ❤

That's a really lovely thhing you did for that creature. You can see the appreciation, it's in the eyes. The way it pauses for that extra moment before flying off into the wilderness, you know you have made a friend for life. I'm sure that if there was anything it could do for you it would.

If you don't believe me try to catch a bird. The fact that he stood there with this man really shows the bird appreciated the help and trusted him.
