For anyone curious about why I didn’t reference the events of chapters 119-120 pertaining to Bakugo, it’s basically because I’m trying to post this video in accordance with where the anime is at. And while I’m sure we’ll reach that moment very soon in S3, I haven’t read past that part and have no idea where his story goes from there, so I can’t comment on the developments past it. And while it greatly accentuates the points I make here, as a single scene in and of itself and disregarding future developments (which is the extent of my knowledge of it) it doesn’t really bring anything different to the table other than a great moment and further development in the same direction. Also, this is entirely different from my other Bakugo video, exploring the character in a way I didn’t before.
In other news, I’ll be doing a Q&A video as a little 90K celebration thing! If you’re interested in asking a question, either ask it on my CuriousCat: curiouscat.me/Aleczandxr. Or in response to this tweet: twitter.com/Aleczandxr/status/1017765412530896896. I’ll pick a selection of ones to answer and put together a more casual video to answer them soon.

First, I want to state that I'm up to date to the manga, and both the manga and anime are one of my very favorites.
For the first time, I really felt that a story is written for me, because I never could relate to a character more than Deku. He was me when I was young, like exactly, except look of course. So while I cried with him, and cheered for him, I was angered by SEASON 1 Bakugou, and I hated him, the only character I ever hated in Hero Academia. I saw the people in him, who are acted like him, with Deku. Then in the second season I started to get fun from his behavior, and respected him how he handled the fight with best girl Uraraka. Then I really understand his character in the last arc of second season. Then halfway through the scond season I read the manga in 2 days, and I was at his best moment (that you mentioned above). And I finally loved his character, and became my 7th favorite and stayed there.
I agree with every word you said, he's maybe the best written character in the series, or at least one of them. BUT for me, in a bullied's standpoint I'm really sad because a bully winning over more peoples heart than Deku, or anyone else in the series. I know it's childish, and I really love Bakugou as a character now, but until he doesn't redeem himself for the things he did with Deku or any other kid, I can't accept him as the character who is loved by the most.
Sorry for writing belove your top comment, I don't know if there is an unwritten rule to not do this, but I really wanted you to read this, because you're one of my favorite RUclipsrs and look/sound like a nice guy :)

I think the reason why ppl like Bakugo more than midoriya. Cuz Midoriya cries alot (not talking about the manga) and bakugo doesn’t turn on the tears for ever little thing.

    • @peek-a-boom8549

First of all, Thank You for doing my favourite MHA character justice. You really drove home what I've been trying to tell my friends for a very long time, who swear to God he's a bad character and they hate him ~ 'you don't have to like him to acknowledge he's well written'(will be recommending this video for sure).
I've often found myself to be less judgemental about people and characters, and I guess that's why I took to Bakugo very early on. The moment he graced the screen and pushed Midoriya off his desk I knew he was The Bully so I was a bit expecting and accepting of his behavior, but what really drove me to look into him so early on was how he was adamant and determined about it. Growing up, I used to be bullied quite often(and even looked up to those bullies - a little Midoriya I was) for being a bit higher than everyone in academics(had Bakugo's smarts and superiority complex as well(though not as severe), secretly saw those will lesser grades as below me and tried to politely deny their invitations to parties and group studies, surpass me in one test and I'd be so internally bruised that I'd fake a smile to keep up a facade of friendliness while congratulating you, then go work twice as hard just to get back on top of you..) so I'm a bit knowledgeable about bullies' motivations, but Bakugo took it a step too far by not only seeking him out after school, but burning his book, telling him to commit suicide AND THEN discussing him with his friends WHEN MIDORIYA WAS NO LONGER PRESENT ~ 'Okay, what the hell's wrong with this guy?' is what I asked myself, and the more he was exposed to me ~ the more I grew to not only understand him but resonate with his character, and the more I loved him.
Another reason why I liked him so much is because unlike Deku(love this guy), who exemplifies the ideal hero, initially Bakugo 'seemed' like an anti-hero or villain in the making(hell, even in Season 3 some people still believed it), yet wants to be a hero AND IS MAD SERIOUS ABOUT IT. The contrast between his violent nature and his dream of being a hero(which demands you be gentle and understanding) really excited me for what was to come for his character. Behind that bloated, violent, rude, standoffish and loud personality sits a shamely-compassionate, empathetic, driven and determined, emotional-wreck of a genius hero-in-training who's NEVER been below the Top 3 of ANY contest. Hallelujah

Lot's of kids these days are told they are some sort of prodigy when they breeze through elementary and middle school. "Gifted child burnout syndrome" is a pretty real thing. I thought I was some kinda genius until getting knocked down a peg in late middle school (which is thankfully pretty early and I had time to adjust), but I know some kids who were total geniuses and found school super easy until hitting a wall and just giving up in junior year and senior year of high school.

For me it's pretty simple why I like his character. He's super well written and also grows as a person. Slowly but surely, Bakugou is learning that he needs to better himself in ways he never expected he'd need to, and so while the major parts of his personality are set in stone for the most part at his current age, he is nonetheless making fundamental changes to himself. But imo, I think that's a great thing.
People don't change overnight. You don't just wakeup one morning and decide, "I'm gonna be a better person". Much like working out or going on a diet, the change is most likely going to be gradual, and you need to stick to it. And I think that sense of realism is what really draws fans towards his character, even if he is still kind of an asshole.

    • @lavenderscare4995

I think this might why I love horikoshi's writting style. At least with hero academia aca, he has a knack for writing characters who grow very subtly. It might be hard to see the changes as you happen, but it builds very quickly. Taking a look back at midorya or shigaraki and even bakugo back at the beginning of the series, it's easy to tell just how much they've changed, and I just love it!

The beauty of Bakugou is that his character is so dimensional, in a hero series he manages to be likable as much as he can be unlikable, next to all the characters that mostly portray good characteristics. You can choose whether or not to like him, and that's what's interesting and intriguing about his character, because both make sense. In the end, whether you like him or not, we all at least can understand why he acts the way he does, and that's a well written character with a lot of complexities.

I don't like him and for now I will feel uncomfortable if bakugo change just becouse he saw his problem and solve it and everyone happy.
      WHY?
      1. Everybody complayning about his power and how his strong without looking he is bitch(toxic) around people
Really nobody give a f*ck about Bakugo being dick to everyone (execpt All might 'couse he is number one hero and always wins) and even worst, Kirishima trying to be friend to Katsuki only becouse his strong and ignore that he's so much toxic.
      2. Author dosen't show me why I should feel he's good person (like fan comics do and for that f**king reason people think his so good person and character)
Really from 5 - 15 years old he think he is the best and everyone is trash.
why I am should feel bad for him and good for his change for some one who is narrow minded, can't see world dosen't work that way and bully and all that things for 10 years.
Still after 3 seasons he didn't see own problems what is first step to change.
Like serious if you think he isn't narrow-minded, so look, Sombody parents told hey your quirk is great and bood he thinks he's the best didn't changing his mind for 10 years and anime didn't show parent maybe them pressed on him or something else but NO just feel bad for him becouse I don't know.

I always loved how Bakugou and Deku's relationship and rivalry has become this exchange of Bakugou being forced to work past his own inferiority complex, while Deku's savior complex is carefully molded into something far more healthy and supportive of his classmates.
That's why Deku asking Kirishima to hold out his hand always gets me so much, because being around Bakugou has made Deku learn that a proper hero does not absolve others of responsibility for his own validation, but shares the appropriate burdens when someone is more qualified to do the job. It's a kind of character growth that I always really enjoyed since first reading it, and I'm glad a lot of people are picking up on it!

I personally get mad if i lose but I learn from it and I don't always take help as a bad thing. For some reason, I always had a little crush on Bakugou even though I hated him, I guess I know why now. He reminded me too much of myself, (minus his bullying) so i hated him, but subconsciously I was relating to him to an extent so I crushed on him.

@@sasukekuniski1959 That was completely rude and uncalled for, and totally ignores the point of what Kate Gomez was trying to say. She took the time to honestly reflect on herself and the contents of the video and to write an intelligent comment, which is certainly much more than you did. What about that suggests she's a b****? Besides that, she's a random person on the internet to you, meaning you don't have much of a basis on which to judge her anyway. Also, crushing on fictional characters is a stupid and inconsequential thing for which to judge someone. She's not pathetic- people do it all the time, and unless they're mentally ill, they understand full well that these characters are not real and that a relationship can't possibly exist, and it doesn't inhibit their relationships with real people. Please keep these pointless and inane comments to yourself.

Omg this reminds me of my MHA OC in my fanfic. Ever since she was a kid, she had been suffering from giftedness and ADHD. Her parents mentioned how she began to speak at only 9 months old, and at 3 years old, was already speaking in full sentences. She even used transitional words, such as however, or multisyllabic words like appropriate.
Later, she began to read books that were at a level higher than normal for someone her age. Despite these seemingly positive things, however, there was a downside.
Aside from being intelligent and intellectual, Marianna (my oc) was easily distracted, forgetful, and showed signs of heightened sensitivities and sensory differences to light, textures, and certain sounds.
She was also prone to have quirk surges, which were moments in which her quirk would behave uncontrollably during her meltdowns. All of these combined made her a victim of bullying and ostracization, and her parents that once adored her, began to look at her differently.
The names “goody two shoes”, “weird”, “pretentious”, and even “stilted” were thrown at her, but she didn't understand why. It wasn't until she overheard her parents talking about how much of a nuisance she was-that they'd much rather take care of a dumb kid than her instead, that she truly understood that she wasn't welcomed in this world she'd been born in.
I'm also gifted and I also have ADHD as well and I resonate with Bakugou so much. He, just like me, is the product of what happens when you expect so much from someone at a young age.

Also whenever anyone says Bakugou hates Deku:
He doesn’t hate him. He doesn’t understand him. He fears his passion. He believes Midoriya is looking down on him. That Midoriya thinks he’s incapable of taking care of and defending himself. He HATES that Midoriya tries to rush to his rescue. It infuriates it. Because to him it’s as if Midoriya is saying, “you can’t do this alone, you need my help.” And that’s one thing he can’t stand. He has a HUGE inferiority complex that he hides behind the wall of his MASSIVE ego. Midoriya exposes that time and time again and THAT’S what Bakugou hates. Midoriya, makes him feel weak. Makes him fear that he might be. So he pushes him away, and builds up those walls.

The best description I've heard for Bakugo is, "damned by great praise". For those who don't know, the saying "damned by faint praise" describes a backhanded compliment. To say something like, "well, it isn't the worst book I've ever read," carries the implication that, while it isn't the absolute worst, that's still the best thing I can compare it to. Groucho Marx saying, "Why, you're the most beautiful woman I've ever met, and that's not saying much," certainly fits the bill. For Bakugo, the trope gets flipped on its head. Instead of being "damned by faint praise", he is given grand, over-the-top compliments as a child which were not really meant to be taken seriously. His teachers and peers were just saying what you say to a young child, congratulating him for relatively minor accomplishments, but Bakugo took them so hard to heart and developed such a complex around those expectations that his scale as to what qualifies as "good" and "bad" was completely screwed up. Whereas the backhanded compliment of "damned by faint praise" is to give a minor compliment to mask an insult, for Bakugo, a penultimate compliment becomes an insult in his mind. For someone to tell him, "You're _almost_ as awesome as All Might!" he would interpret that as an all-out insult because it's putting him second to someone else.
Not to mention, he's the Lancer of the series and the Lancer is, very nearly, always the most popular character because they aren't as obligated to have their flaws scrubbed as with the main hero. The main hero needs to be as broadly identifiable as possible to attract a larger audience so they end up being a bit blander and unrealistic. The Lancer, by contrast, is allowed to be a real character with less broad scope but, as a result, greater appeal. They also tend to go through a deeper, more meaningful character arc. Consider Vegeta compared to Goku, Ban vs Meliodas, Etna vs Laharl, -Sasuke vs Naruto- wait, no, that one is _trope averted._

His cons VASTLY outweighed the pros so hard that it’s like comparing a puddle to a SEA. That’s what made his redemption so hard to swallow.
Bakugo on the other hand. Although not a good person either. Recognizes his faults FAR quicker then Sasuke had. He WANTS to be the best, like no one ever was. But suffers from massive amounts of tunnel vision to recognize that being the best doesn’t JUST mean Power alone. His slow-burn development is exactly what makes him so compelling.

I think the hate for bakugou is over exaggerated. I hated him at first too but at the end of season 1 and beyond I started to warm up to him. Sure he's violent, egotistical, prideful, loud, obnoxious and a bully. But what makes me like his character besides his comedic moments is the fact that his development throughout the story. How he slowly changes from a bully, to a not complete asshole who has a real friend like kirishima. Or how he respects Ochako for doing her best against him in the sports festival despite being outclassed. I also like the fact that he won't just surrender to the league of villains just so he can obtain power snd win like Sasuke. Despite how he acts he respects and looks up to All Might like deku but unlike deku he doesn't want to be like All Might, he wants to surpass him. That I can definitely respect and also respect how like deku the kid busts his ass every day just to become the number 1 hero but deku and todoroki are always a head of him. Plus it doesn't help the fact that the guy he bullied as a kid is being trained by the hero he respects the most. So in short, bakugou is definitely one of the best characters of my hero acadamia.
Note: I haven't seen the chapter where he and deku fight yet but I'm close.

Ugh. Another fucking misguided Sasuke comparison. Sasuke went off with Orochimaru to get powerful enough to get revenge on the person who _killed his fucking family_ and because he felt morally obliged to rid the world of someone as evil as he thought Itachi was. Bakugou had no reason to join the league of villains since pretty much all of the villains in the league at that point in time were the exact opposite of what he wants to be; societal rejects finding solace in causing chaos and tearing heroes down simply because they're losers. Sasuke never wanted just to win, the only reason he got envious of Naruto wasn't because he was actually jealous but because Naruto had been behind everyone his whole life and suddenly was getting even more powerful than Sasuke and if the weakest kid Sasuke knew growing up was getting ahead of him then, how much better was Itachi than him? It was salt in an open wound, not petty jealously. _Naruto_ wanted to be the best, the strongest and to win all the time, not Sasuke. Sasuke wanted revenge which turned into a bigger goal of wanting to change the world so no one would suffer like he did by any means necessary.

Wassup man! Another masterpiece of an analysis! I absolutely Bakugou : Because he is everything I want to be while also being someone fully detestable. He has such a massive goal and a never ending ambition to attain it. I wish to be inhabited by a fire as INTENSE as his(don't pity me plz). But his obnoxious and loud personality make my inside turn like a washing machine because I would love to be able to express that rage, that will to live the best life possible. It releases Bakugou from useless thoughts about people or events leaving him with his only goal in mind(which doesn't stop him from rethinking his point of view on the world around him because learning will only help him to reach that top). Anyway, I just love that Bomber man and aspire to be as amazing as he his(but not quite as loud).

Psychologically, Bakugo is a very interesting character. I really enjoyed watching his path go from thinking he’s a hot-shot wannabe hero to someone who was beaten and humbled down to scratch at UA. He has a lot of development to do and potential to become a great pro hero along with Midoriya and I’m so excited to watch their growth.
For those who don’t read the manga, I highly recommend it rather than just watching the anime. Bakugo and Midoriya’s relationship isn’t a simple black&white bullying kind (which most people think it is and it irks me that they’re stuck on that mentality) but much deeper and more complex. They’re described in the data book as childhood FRIENDS and will (probably unconsciously) work towards reconnecting those bonds.
Thank you for another great video, Aleczandxr! And thank you for pulling an Aizawa and seeing Bakugo for who he really is despite his flaws ❤️👍🏻

Bakugo became my favorite character after the league kidnapped him and the reason is that a worse writer would use his lancer trope as a contrived temporary villain arc at least but MHA drives home that in his core Bakugo wants to be a hero everyone looks up to and can rely on. His heart is undeniably pure in that regard and it's not difficult to understand why he's so jaded and complex when he is his own worst critic. Even when he makes breakthroughs in his development he never really flaunts it because to him he can always try harder, be faster, act smarter and nothing short of perfection will ever satisfy HIMSELF.

(SPOILERS TO ANIME-ONLYS) I can't wait for the anime to get to chapters 117-119 (it'll happen this season), because I honestly think the battle between Deku and Bakugo, as well as Bakugo's show of survivor's guilt, will make him rise in popularity to a whole new level. I always had my doubts about his character, and even hated him when he was first introduced, but as time slowly past as I read the manga, Bakugo has made himself to be MY personal favorite character, and I can't wait to see what else the creator has in store for him in the future.

I like him for all the reasons you've mentioned, and because his over-the-top rages can be quite entertaining when juxtaposed with the rest of the cast. It's just, when he's around Deku, his dickish behavior magnifies and becomes unbearable. It's understandable, and fits perfectly with his character. It's well-written stuff. It's just whenever he starts in on Deku, I'm overcome with a strong desire to smack him upside the head.

Thanks for making this. Not only did it help for others to understand his character, but also helped me. In high school I was just like Bakugou, I bullied, I won, and would do anything to do it. I saw myself better than everyone else and had people say I was talented all day long. But I had deep worth issues that I have recently come to see and as I have grown, I now see people as they are and see myself as little. I still make displays out of bad habits, but have learned to respect people and that weakness is what help people relate to you as a person. So I am thankful that other people can see the root causes of why someone like Bakygou or me would act in strange and rude ways at times. Thanks for making this! Bakugou is the first character that I feel I relate to so much, Kohei did a great job of writing this anti-hero for us and you helped us understand him better too.

Upon writing this video I just thought that Horikoshi added in her antics for pure comic relief and didn't think it had much to do with her character being extremely flawed as a person. Later material lends us more insight but I just saw that in the anime and interpreted it as endearing slapstick, hence what I inaccurately said in the video.

@@Aleczandxr thats perfectly understandable. I just think it speaks volumes that he went from a kind lovable but arrogant child to a carbon copy of his mother's personality. He went from being a kid version of his dad to basically being melded into a copy of his mother. She has the flashier personality and evidently has the power in the house which just compounds on everything you accurately pointed out about him being taught he needs to be the best and to be the strongest.
He had people saying he will be the number one giving him insane bars he had to reach. Whilst also being yelled at and brought down to earth with anger and violence by his own mother in an attempt to prevent his ego growing. Which instead caused a broken angry child who thinks that if he isn't the best then he is a worthless failure. Bakugou is kind of relatable in our mindset to be the best and be acknowledged but also [always] get beaten by life because he/us approached it with the wrong way. He is one of the best but he hardly get the best or what he wants to feel that he achieved the title which is why people can act understandable to his demeanor. The show puts him in his place and asked him to change and he learns each day, with hardship while continue working his ass off.
We all want something but oblivious to our flaw, we like to see determination and bakugou has the outmost confidence with goal in minds and then, when bakugou get slapped by reality, we know how that feels, how you just not enough and has to face that one day, you should change. How you can't work that way anymore and need to face the reality that everything changes, people become better than you expected and how you'll be surpassed, even when you had try really hard to master it.

I'm crying because this is just so true. Bakugou's development is something that's so intricate that people who haven't yet experienced what he's going through (on a smaller level of course) will only see the behavioural issues as him being an asshole - which he kind of is - but at least there is a reason for it. On the other hand, the people who have experienced, or have an understanding of what he's going through, see it as an insecurity, the idea that his peers have put so much pressure on him and placed him on this pedestal that he feels the need to stay there even though it's near impossible. That's why so many people, me especially, love this character, not only for his comedic value, but for his personal weaknesses and how we can relate to him.

Look at Bakugo over the course of the series. He always puts down others, so you'd think he should be happy to be at "the top" (which he actually isn't), but in reality he's never happy. He only focuses on where he wasn't perfect, being unable to see how much he has already achieved (which Deku even admires). Ofcause it was intended that the audience never got inside to his psyche, to make the big reveal at the end of season 3 much more impactful (very clever reader direction). Even so it was obvious even before that something is building up Bakugo that eventually HAS to burst out.
Deku on the other hand has learned from childhood on to accept that he isn't great, sometimes not even average and you'd think he'd always be down. Yet he has a lot of friends and fun at UA.
Always being angry, unsatisfied and unhappy with everything, especially yourself, is no healthy way to live for a teenager. Horikoshi created a masterpiece of social irony that "the most gifted" is the most unhappy of them all.

Most of us live by following the rules, and here is Bakugo who does not stick to those rules by being loud, angry, and hostile to others but at the same time he is still GETTING THINGS DONE. While most of the characters are cool, they are not as complex as Bakugo that is why its more fun to watch him. Eventhough he acts out of the ordinary, at the end of the day HE WILL STILL FOCUS ON HIS GOAL.Bakugo is never steady, he is loud but he continues on his goals. He is a right balance to Deku's character of always being pure, good, innocent and model citizen that is why he is cool to watch.

I think I love Bakugo because I really think this whole situation is fucked up. Maybe it's cause I'm jaded from Naruto, but for me, Deku being gifted the strongest quirk around because of luck killed his relatablity for me. Bakugo isn't relatable either, but I just find characters that are fake underdogs (Naruto, Deku) less relatable than characters that are open about their genius. That's not to say I don't _like_ or enjoy Deku, I do, I just don't find him relatable.

Meleron Nef Bakugo feels more like a natural character in the narrative and feels like he has genuine character flaws and personality. Deku is the complete opposite who's a savior but has no quirk.
The show immediately changes that by giving Deku the best quirk and the only real issue Deku has is controlling it. Controlling your inner demons or new power is a common trope and personally uninteresting for me to watch even in shows I like.

But with Bakugo he's flaws are actually real _flaws_ (pride, vanity, narcissism) whereas with Deku the flaws that are most prominent are superman level "flaws" (he's too self-sacrificial, he helps other people to the detriment of himself). That makes me _enjoy_ his character more than Deku's even though I don't personally relate to him, because he feels more real.
But for me my biggest problem with Deku isn't that solely that, but that combined with what I mentioned in my OP, which is that he was literally gifted one of if not the most overpowered quirk in the verse and yet judging from the way he's positioned in the anime I'm expected to root for him in his fights as if he's the underdog (e.g. Him vs Todoroki)
False underdogs in shonen really agitate me, which hinders my ability to fully enjoy his character, but again, maybe i'm just jaded from Naruto.
Anyway, I don't "not enjoy" Deku, I said as much in my OP. It's just that with Deku, you get the feeling that you're _supposed_ to relate to him since you're experiencing the world from is view, which is why not relating to him is a bit of a problem, whereas not relating to Bakugo is not.

i relate deeply to bakugo. when i was growing up i was told by all the adults around me that i was "gifted" and had a "talent" for writing. so i grew up thinking i didn't have to do anything to learn more about english and writing because i was already that good. then all the other kids caught up to me. i wasn't in the limelight for my academic success anymore. i was fading away, because the adults i trusted only secured the fact that i was perfect and didn't need to change. i was also a very toxic friend with a very toxic ego that i've managed to almost completely revert, and even now whenever i say something rude as a joke i apologise because i don't want to fall back into that toxic trap.
being told at four years old that you're better than all the other kids there because you learnt to read and write faster than they did isn't healthy. yes, you should praise your child for learning and academics. but you shouldn't actively tell your kid that you're automatically smarter and therefore better than everyone.
also, my mum says i have a "model" face and my sisters just don't have the "facial structure of a model" like i do. bruh. i don't even like my face that much.

Bakugo was a big fish in a little pond, when confronted with the best players he realised just how much is still in the road to become the next symbol of peace, not only as a hero but as a person, he needs to grow and learn, to open up to others and appreciate them for whor they are, to let himself express in healthier ways and find happiness not just around his goal, I love him and I am here for that ride!

Bakugo honestly is my second favorite character! I identify more with izuku, but bakugo, to me I can see myself inwardly more than outward, especially being an athlete and a theatre major it’s really competitive I respect him for what he’s achieving in the show. Great video man

It's extremely difficult and nie impossible to know how to properly react to emotions which you've never felt before especially the ones oposite to what you have astablished as regular in your life. Bakugos behavior is that frutration and i get him

While I personally can never bring myself to really *like* his character, I will never make a point saying "he isn't written well." After all, a good character and a likable character are not always the same thing.
One of the things that always impresses me about My Hero Academia is how it takes a lot of tropes, but they do them exceedingly well - and often use them in ways that haven't been done before. It would've been so easy for the writer to have taken Bakugo and make him side with the League of villains - making him the Sasuke for Deku (only even more unlikable). But instead the writer chose the smarter route, which was to take a character that has all the tropes of being a standard bully and subverting our normal expectations of what that archetype of a character would normally do.
    Great video!

AAAAH! Everything in this video I've had in my mind for such a long time. I was writing an analysis about Bakugo myself, and this basically wraps it all together so nicely. Great work! I love the deepness of Bakugo's character, and I always found it so hard to explain it to others. Guess I'll just show them this video now lol.

Bro, the first minute you just talked about is literally how I felt and still feel sometimes, I’ve always done my best and if I didn’t I would come back and work harder, then when I’m on the brink of success, the goal is going further and further away. I don’t like to accept help from people either because it makes me feel like I’m not working as hard in my own as I should have been.
