I love watching your content. You’re so thorough and thoughtful in your explanations and concern for your patients. Even though this patient had a good outcome, it still pains you that it’s not perfect. I wish there were more of you ❤
Really interesting post! I have always taken very good care of my teeth. I had braces in my youth and they pulled 8 teeth as part of the "braces" process. I have no teeth on my upper left side now from the canine tooth back because I had fillings in the 3 teeth when young and every one of those teeth fractured in two by the time I reached 60! I had dentist advise me to do root canals and crowns and they still failed within 6 months and I wasted thousands of dollars and have to have them pulled! I am 65 now and have bone loss in that area of my jaw. I am trying to figure out what to do to improve my appearance and have something to chew on. I feel like we are always at the mercy of dentists to advise us, and whatever the fix is, it doesn't last. I am not going back to that dentist.
Were you a dentist in 2000? West Acton, West London? I had two crowns fitted on my incisors at a practice on Old Oak Common Lane. The man did a fantastic job. I was told they will last for about 10 years but 24 years later, one is still going strong 😂. Unfortunately the right one broke off this year with a piece of the teeth so a dental implant was the way to go. The final crown will be fitted on the 18th of this month. I'm just hoping it was you who did that marvelous job the first time! Hoi from The Netherlands 😊
I have 8 Veneers on my Upoer Jaw there 15 yrs old but still look in great condition .. I’d love a re-fresh and like your All on 4 solution .. as I’m sure your aware underneath these Veneers my original teeth would have been shaved/compromised.. is it still possible I could have All on 4? Thanks Dr Gurs
This is possible, but if it's a refresh, I would probably advise you to replace the veneers. With all on 4, you will end up removing the actual tooth, and there are big downsides to this. If veneers are done well, they tend to look better, and feel better too.
hey doc..... I have a question Does the loss of interdental papilla occur due to 2 adjacent implants ?? If you put 1 single implant over there and let 1 tooth missing can the patient have a more predictable outcome ?
Dental Implants seems to be pretty Expensive but I,d like to try. But I live in Jamaica so How would I get an implant done I need your advice doc Thanks
Hi I'm 33 years old. I have missing tooth in lower teeth both side left and right. I don't want this underbite :-( .. Can i still wear braces just in lower teeth only? Can it help move backward my teeth and close the gap for that missing tooth each side?.. anyone advice? I'm starting to look like Shrek with hair 😞
Your discernment as a Doctor has no bounds - I am grateful to be under your care with my treatment 😊
See you soon 😁🤘

I've been a dental technician for many years this is probably the best is going to get, I liked it and trust me I am very picky.
I think it's a great solution, especially considering how complex the other solution is!

That's amazing! It wasn't me though, although I did work near there. I am sure you will get a fantastic, long lasting tooth there!

Yes, single implants are a LOT easier to get perfect

It's probably best to ask your local dentists, someone must be providing dental implants near you
Have you heard of Restore in 24?

Probably... I think, I don't know the details, but it's best to speak with a dentist (or orthodontist: a brace specialist) who can advise you.
