I heard these guys on a local radio station and am now absolutely floored to see that the lead singer is also the drummer! Singing while playing drums is difficult enough, but to sing in that manic, expressive Sprechgesang while keeping such a tight rhythm would seem damn near impossible
And to sound just the like the studio recording is even more impressive
His vocal delivery and energy alone is impressive, on drums its almost unimaginable
Singing and Playing drums at the same time to me feels like brushing your teeth and eating breakfast. His vocal delivery is ON POINT!

This recording of The Cleaner is not only WAY better than the studio recording, but is honestly one of the greatest songs I've heard in my life.

This band has got me interested in music again and at 64 that wasn't easy to do..brilliant!
Been constantly revisiting this session since I first saw it. Gotta say, not only is this performance of The Cleaner better than the studio version, but it honestly makes my 100 favorite songs of all time list. Absolutely immaculate

Been a while since I heard something so fresh. I wish them the success thet deserve and will definitely get their album and attend a gig if ther is one near me hopefully after the pandemic.

They have come on so much.... great band - all the grit and heart and manic style is still there but now songs that could be on the first two Roxy Music albums ( the good ones with Eno)

This drummers voice is so sick, I hear a little b-52's in it.
Heard them a while back when they played Glasto (i think). At the time i said to my mate they got a bit of B'52' / Floyd / Chumbawamba about them. Hope to get to see them but i think even when they do play the Joiners in Soton its a sell out already. Good band
