He was obviously told to do it... That's why he went to all 4 corners, posed and then hit the suplex.... It's story telling wrestling... Not just doing moves for the sake of moves. Then immediately went for a bear hug working on the ribs or back that he had just shoulder tackled into all 4 corners.....
It's crazy how he had all the hype comin into it but his brother Damon Kemp is a much better wrestler and actually seems to care. Gable didn't even look like he wanted to be there
Honestly, dude has too much of a legit resume to not have the physical abilities to make it in pro wrestling but he needs serious reps away from WWE cause it seems like the PC didn’t do much for him despite a few years.
Physically he can do all of it , but it takes a talent too make it look good and understand the art of selling moves offensively and defensively that’s a skill that most athletes lack when it comes to the sport . Also the other half aka character. Not everyone has what it takes too be a believable character. For instance Rhonda , or even Brock honestly his character was him being generic monster when started and they gave him Paul which was the best pacifier any wrestler can have but he did understand the art inside the ring unlike gable it’s not easy doing this stuff if my point .
He’s so awkward. He looks decent when performing some moves but any moments pre or post spot he looks totally unenthused. He looks like he takes everything step by step by step by step. Even when he taunts it looks like someone had to press left on the D pad first. He lacks charisma in the ring.. I would love to see how his promos went lol
@chrisclark6562 not saying u I just saying in general people run their mouth about how aew is garbage when in reality wwe is garbage period so many people on the roster in none being used besides a bs segment or a jobber
Anyone know when this took place? I forget when he got signed but Cameron Grimes didnt make it to the main roster until last year and this looked like a smackdown show. Had to have been a few years into his training
What Hogan and Cena lack in moveset, they more than made up for by connecting with the crowd. If only Gable was able to learn that, he'd still be employed.
I’ve seen much worse. We don’t know what he was told to do by the agent, so we can’t criticize him for only doing like 3 moves. That being said, his reverse bear hug wasn’t very good because you could see that he wasn’t applying pressure, and he messed up right at the beginning during the initial tackle.
Because he's still no good at the end of the day. And he proved it further by being a grown man crying publicly on social media for sympathy like a female
The PC exposes you at an early age in your career; for better or worse. Same with Punk in MMA. He did great at displaying some self defense techniques trying to avoid the choke but Mickey was a Brown Belt with more experience on smaller shows.
Gable looks like he didnt really want to be there ...he seems like a grecco roman purist that thinks pro wrestling is beneath him ...he shouldve used that cintament in his character development.... Because the moves and selling were actually good
Dammm empty seats i want people to say the same thing about empty seats in wwe just as much as there is in aew have the same energy dont be cockriding for wwe like its the greatest thing since slice bread its not
Wrestled like he's only ever watched the first 2 minutes of a Brock Lesnar match. You'd expect more exciting, or atleast a better learnt, type of wrestling here. But his moves just look tired, not impactful. None of his moves look like they really hurt at all. Not saying I could do better, just what I see
Unpopular opinion but I thought that was a perfectly worked psychological match. Gable began the match working his back, Grimes made a comeback, and the more powerful guy stalled him with a devastating spinebuster. No it wasn’t a 5⭐️ classic but it got the point across as Steveson being a legit beast.
God, I'm so glad they released this guy. He wasn't ever gonna be good. Now to wait for them to wake up against Jade.Cargill cause she's not good either
LOL he did the same move for almost 2 mins straight
😂😂
😂
:Michael Scott looks at the camera
Kept throwing him into the corner and spearing him.

As much in ring charisma as dirt , very clear he never wanted to learn

Really a simple spine buster yeah this was a fail waiting to happen
To his credit Gable Steveson made Baron Corbin look good.
Finally the thing is that I was here.
I swear i was up top and Gable Steveson looked right at me i think.
He was working as the heel but i cheered him
Cameron: stop sending me to the corners
Gable Steveson: it's the only move I know
Cameron Grimes is released from wwe right so when was this
He sure does love that turnbuckle
I don’t even think Bret Hart could’ve carried him to a decent match
All those empty seats, I thought it was AEW Rampage
lol, this was a dark match as people were coming into the building
@chrisclark6562 bs hsve the same energy for wwe dont run your mouth about aew is garbage wwe is garbage as well
@@RashadSims-bh3zz wtf are you talking about ? What did I say about AEW. I go to AEW every time it’s in town

@chrisclark6562 just saying in general people love to run their mouth about how aew is is garbage smh but yet act like wwe is a saint

January
If this is footage from when SmackDown came to Miami a couple of months back, I was in person for this. It was terrible.
He has less move set than hogan and John chena
Not John Chena 😂😂😂😂
What Hogan and Cena lack in moveset, they more than made up for by connecting with the crowd. If only Gable was able to learn that, he'd still be employed.
At least John Chena has
the Fives Knuckles Shuffles
and that’s the bottom lines
because Cold Stones says so
I was just waiting for him to do something other than the drive into the turnbuckle. He didnt look comfortable doing anything else
How about that time he picked him up and drove him into the turnbuckle
When was this
A dark match before Smackdown earlier this year, January.
The bills just signed him from what i just read
Phenomenal job.... Was exactly where he needed to be and followed directiond.... Dudes going places and has size and legit background... Watch
They couldn't give him the angle slam at least 😅

So why was Cameron Grimes fired again?
Because he's still no good at the end of the day. And he proved it further by being a grown man crying publicly on social media for sympathy like a female
@@victory7763 oh man,what he do??
@@victory7763”like a female” lol just say you’ve never felt a woman’s touch before
Nah he just hating and a defender of wwe's dumb decisions, dont listen to his bs@zeushernandez9639
Wwe always fumble the ball, always letting go wrestlers that become world champions in other promotions, it makes no sense
He should have went into MMA . Because pro wrestling aint his thing lol.
The PC exposes you at an early age in your career; for better or worse.
Same with Punk in MMA. He did great at displaying some self defense techniques trying to avoid the choke but Mickey was a Brown Belt with more experience on smaller shows.
His body language conveyed disinterest and apathy. Glad they fired him, he didn't want to be there.
Hopefully tamyra works out better
And now he’s gonna be sitting on the bench in the nfl a shame
And both guys got cut.
Gable looks like he didnt really want to be there ...he seems like a grecco roman purist that thinks pro wrestling is beneath him ...he shouldve used that cintament in his character development.... Because the moves and selling were actually good
He should be more explosive. Like Angle or Lesnar. He had 3+ years in WWE and that's all he had to show 🤦♂️
What do you wanna do tonight? Oh just the same move over and over? Say less
I don't know if he watched or understood wwe enough to replicate it. Kids can do it better sadly.
Dammm empty seats i want people to say the same thing about empty seats in wwe just as much as there is in aew have the same energy dont be cockriding for wwe like its the greatest thing since slice bread its not
Jobski
Even the best can't make gold outta crap
Male jade cargill
jade has the biggest prescence and aura in wwe so try again and has gotten good
Instant super star in AEW
😢 go to the ufc bro

Damn gable works as boring as he looks
This is embarrassing
Didn't show much personality and doesn't know how to sell well.
Not gonna say it’s bad but, it’s boring to watch.
