- On this episode of TRC we're featuring a ridiculously fast Yamaha Banshee capable of going over 130mph built by proven performance. The banshee rockets from 0-60mph in almost 1 second flat and capable of 1/8 mile in the low 5 second range at over 130mph! This is without a doubt one of the quickest street launches we've ever seen, strap in and enjoy the wild ride!

Sick! The only thing I’ve ever driven or even seen come close to those speeds was a supercharged snowmobile, and I had whiplash for a week after riding it I was bed ridden for almost 2 weeks!! People who have experience know that kind of torque take a toll on your body. This guy gets 2 thumbs up 👍👍

I've seen broken skulls and fractured ones and more from just riding not even combat. I even pulled the staples out of my own head afterwards when I thought my multiple breaks and fractures were healed about a month later. I was wearing a helmet, boots, gloves, everything but a car vs a harley dyna in a hit and run I lost... I'm still alive though even with my skull broken in 4 sections the longest of the breaks was 6 or 7 inches on the top right side of my skull.

Take the new ktm 250sx which makes it's peak power at around 9000rpm (same as the last kx250's) whereas the new 250sxf makes its peak power at almost 13,500rpm. So the fact that a 2t engine more than double the size of those dirtbikes is spinning rpm that high is wild

I have ridden both back in the day , the 550 was fun because I 6'7 250lbs and had enough ass to hold it down , but the 750 was just stupid powerful , I don't know how those little guys rode them and lived .

Would be slower, the front tires never touch the ground, enough to pull anyway, and it would be significantly heavier and twice the power loss through the drivetrain. Why do you think top fuel is rwd
Doesn't need awd it's just way too light for it to matter
Would be a LOT slower. AWD only helps with heavy vehicles, this doesn't really qualify at all. Not to mention the extra weight would be more than enough to slow it down, but not enough to let the awd hook.
I don't think slower as you could increase power to compensate for everything mentioned drive train loss etc...also need to readjust the suspension and that wheelie bar to ensure front get traction but it can get real sketchy if not held straight... Just my uneducated three cents..
Lizo Bathembu AWD wouldn’t work though. It’s too light as is for the front wheels to touch, if you did AWD you would be dominant power to the rear wheels still with more weight and front wheels bouncing and hardly touching like the do now. Compensate with heavier wheels on the front and you’re now even slower because of weight, you stiffen the wheelie bar/lower it more you’re going to spin because the bike can’t lean back. And if you think you can get 300+hp out of one of these to compensate for the added weight you’re nuts. 1300cc busa engines have trouble turning that let alone half the size
Everything from super super mini dragsters to no-kidding horse drawn chariot races - this is a real racing venue! This, to me, would be an exciting place to park a hotdog cart and spend the day taking care of fans who want to get next to people who are serious about what they do. How real can it get?!
