- Welcome to our sixth P&O Arvia Caribbean cruise series vlog! Today, P&O Arvia is at sea in todays vlog.
Today, Gav goes on the Altitude Skywalk, Arvia's ropes course. Set 54 meters above the ocean, this series of rope walks - with different routes to suit all abilities - takes outdoor adventures to the next level. During our cruise, the Skywalk was free of charge, but since recording, P&O have started charging for this.
After the Altitude Skywalk, we head to a virtual bridge tour of P&O Arvia.
This evening Meal was in the Olive Grove main dining room. You will find the Olive Grove both on P&O Iona and P&O Arvia. On Arvia, it to a completely free of charge restaurant, unfortunately it wasn't our favourite meal of the cruise.

P&O Cruises' newest cruise ship P&O Arvia is sister to P&O Iona. You can expect energetic adventures, interactive family entertainment, one-of-a-kind dining experiences and soothing relaxation options. P&O Arvia has a capacity of 5200 passengers and has 26 Dining venues & bars, 6 Theatres & Lounges, 5 Pools and lots of hot tubs!

We are bananas about cruising! We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini cruise on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby - the complete video is filmed and edited on an iPhone. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board - really they are us having fun and brining you along with us!
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails).
We have sailed on P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Avalon Waterways. We'd love to try Ambassador Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Fred Olsen, Holland America (HAL), Celebrity, Disney Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Costa, Aida, Marella and Celestyal.

Bravo to Gavin doing zip wires and Love eating at Kneel & Cow on P&O Iona last year on Norway cruise. The cheese was amazing to dipping in.... :D
It was harder than the one on Virtuosa that is for sure! The cheese was so good!
I love that you two like a drink and are honest about the hangovers. So many people these days frown upon us liking a drink. Atleast you normalise having a few jars and suffering for it the day after ❤❤

Nice to have a Captain you can understand! Mine was from Ukraine!🤣 CD had to come on and interpret after every announcement. Virtual bridge tour is nice. Need to start off by saying where you are! Understand it’s a sea day, but what shore did you point to? No way would I do the rope climbing! Enjoyed seeing the different locations - nice promenade and beautiful sunset! Pace yourself….
Oh, not sure who that captain is then, not one we've had! Noted!
The ropes are not as bad as they look but are quite a challenge :)
Watching this having, our Sunday morning breakfast. Excellent video as always, I fancy trying the ship, though my missus, thinks it’s too big for her, though she still isn’t that well yet, but is getting there, can’t wait for the next video.
Glad to hear she is getting better! Iona and Arvia are huge ships, but the layout is quite simple, so easy to get around, but can just take a long time! :)
@@CruiseMonkeys Julie managed ok on Britannia and Sky Princess, so maybe she could be fine on Arivia or Iona, though when the time comes, it probs, will be a smaller ship.
Aww, the Royal Class ships are perfect size. Aurora might be a good one to try if you’ve not been on her, smallest but full of character. Love her!

Do it do it do it! Fab little ship as you’ll have seen in our vlogs last year. Very easy to navigate, full of character and proper wood decks! They don’t make them like that anymore 🥰

how does ordering drinks work at the swim up bar? i’m new to cruises so sorry if this is a silly question but i’m wondering if the card can get wet and still work?
Yes, just carry your card, it is not a very deep pool at all and it doesn't matter if it gets wet. If you have a drinks package, they use a sticker, so that will fade if it's been in the water but they don't usually mind.

Agree with olive Grove being over rated. The chocolate cake they do on Iona is mega but the rest is pretty average
