- We're kicking off our Celebrity Beyond vlog series by boarding the beautiful Celebrity Beyond in Fort Lauderdale
This is our first time on a Celebrity Cruises cruise and we cant wait to bring you along for the adventure.
Join us on our adventure as leave Miami and head to Fort Lauderdale, where we get onboard Celebrity Beyond and sail the Caribbean, visiting the ports of St Marten, St Thomas and Puerto Plata.
Our Celebrity Beyond cruise was the most expensive cruise and stay package we have booked to date, all in it came in at £2000 per person, which is was around £600-£750 more than we paid for P&O Iona and MSC Seaside.

We are bananas about cruising! We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini cruise on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby - the complete video is filmed and edited on an iPhone. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board - really they are us having fun and brining you along with us!
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails).
We have sailed on Celebrity Cruises, P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Avalon Waterways. We'd love to try Ambassador Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Fred Olsen, Holland America (HAL), Disney Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Costa, Aida, Marella and Celestyal.

This was absolutely one of the most organically hilarious videos I have ever watched. It was fun to watch you guys get progressively more inebriated as the day went on. My sister and I will be on the Beyond in November for a transatlantic crossing and I hope every night goes just like this! XD!!

I’ve been in Miami before-never seen that “personal transport.” Miami port is huge. Never been on Celebrity either. Atrium is beautiful! Though, yeah, all those silver balls are hazards! Have to get a drinks package before water is included(?) And yeah, enjoy watching a safety video instead of an in-person muster. Beautiful theater, spa and magic carpet look cool. Like the infinite balcony idea; nice cabin & bath. Surprised there was no hydrotherapy pool. Love all the art, & can’t go through a buffet without getting food! Always warm in the Caribbean…and Miami…the sailaways there are beautiful. You two having a few drinks? Nah…😂 How do you walk?🤣

It is a beautiful ship - yes, we had the classic drinks package, it included 1 brand of water, not premium water brands (who knew you could get premium water?!).
It was such a fab cruise, we were glad of the warm weather as it was freezing back home :)
Yes, i just went last night to book the Thermal Suite and saw NO hydrotherapy pool…so the first time in history i am not booking it because that is what i really like and the steam room. At a price if 279 i may get a day pass. Really looking forward to this series. It will help me on my Beyond Cruise in November… thx guys🚢😊
Yeah, it is such a shame they done have a nice hydro pool, that was the reason we didnt opt for a pass. Make sure you go for a tour on the first day. Hopefully this series helps - thanks :)

Thank you! We'd love to try a Celebrity cruise in the Med, think it would be our vibe! Cant remember if we did try is, have a feeling we did later in the series! Oh no, no Eden (for dinner, only Eden Cafe lunch) we're afraid as we wanted to try each MDR, Le Petit Chef, the Steak House and Rooftop Garden Grill. If we go back, we'll be sure to give Eden a go!

Great video. If your drinks package was part of you booking I would suggest upgrading so you can use the martini bar.
Thank you! Yes, we had the classic, we didn’t upgrade and just paid the extra, tbh, as we’re not huge martini drinkers, for us it worked out ok 😀

I can believe this is an expensive cruise. Everything looks like an expensive modern hotel. You stateroom lives like a premium suite. Very nice.
Yeah, it felt really posh, and Eden llooked fab, you would never think it was on a ship. Real plants!

Did the classic drink package cover all of your drinks.
Not all but most. Each venue has their own special menu and most of them are over the classic package. We had about 4 drinks the whole cruise (martini) which were not included and you just pay the difference in price, as for us - upgrading would not have been worth it as we were happy with standard brands. 😀
I would love to go on celebrity Edge from Mediterranean but to expensive 😫
