Celebrity Beyond - Today DIDN'T GO TO PLAN! - Episode 5

- Welcome to our fifth Celebrity Beyond cruise ship vlog. Today Celebrity Beyond is in Saint Thomas.
The plan for today was to head to Paradise Point for a Bushwacker cocktail... but oh no, things didn't go to plan!
When we visited Saint THomas back in 2020 on MSC Seaside, we docked at Havensight Cruise Pier, here we went to Magens Bay and Paradise point (video here: • MSC Seaside - Episode ... ). So we had it all planned out... until we arrived!
Unbeknown to us, Celebrity Cruises (and Royal Caribbean) don't dock at Havensight Cruise Pier, instead they dock at Crown Bay!
As we didn't want to spend the money on a taxi to get to where we needed, we instead decided to find a bar and enjoy our day there, where we met many fellow passengers doing the same and had Celebrity Beyond our our backdrop.
Tonight's dinner was in the Cyprus restaurant, after which, we decided to go to see the show in Eden. Unfortunately that didn't go to plan either as it was so crowded, we ended up stuck in the upper level with very little view of the show.
So it was bit of an unsuccessful day at St Thomas onboard Celebrity Beyond. Not to worry, lets hope tomorrow is a better day!

We are bananas about cruising! We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini cruise on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby - the complete video is filmed and edited on an iPhone. We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails).
We have sailed on Celebrity Cruises, P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Avalon Waterways. We'd love to try Ambassador Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Fred Olsen, Holland America (HAL), Disney Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Costa, Aida, Marella and Celestyal.

Ha, I love when these sorts of things happen. It's even worst when you're in an inside cabin - you get up, dressed, sort your schedule for the day then walk outside to realise you're in the wrong bloomin' place...!!
Hahahaha! Yeah, when inside it’s a right pain, especially if the TV cam doesn’t give you ideas either, I know lots say look at the tv for the weather etc but half the times it’s even impossible to work that out 🤣
@@CruiseMonkeys Ha, I've just spent a week on Rhapsody OTS, and she didn't even have webcams on the TV - I was completely lost every day, ha!

It turned out to be quite a fun day, that little shack was awesome and the lady running it was so lovely we couldn’t leave.

Awww, thank you! 😀 Hahaha! We do like our Superdry, especially the backpacks! We picked up a new one on our recent trip to Guernsey when the blue one broke after many years of use!

Wow-that is REALLY far away! Nice shots of the ship and the BVI sign. Love the little windmill. What’s in a bushwhacker??? That’s why you’re poor-all those expensive cocktails!😂 How is it Gavin always stays sober??? 🤪 You can keep the iguanas…but the Magic Carpet looks cool-haven’t cruised Celebrity before… Those were Greek stuffed grape leaves. Nice editing!

Hahaha I (Luke) tend to drink my drinks a little bit quicker than Gav and I get very excited and happy on cruises so I think under the influence I just become in general a bit more charismatic and outgoing. Gav does have his moments but he’s smart enough not to get caught on camera lol 😂
