Can we use milk instead for heavycream?
@@beyond-limiterussb749no I dont think so because without the cream it would just be milk and sugar so it would just be sweet milk. So thats why you would definitely need cream

Guysss I have tried this and trust me it was delicious but if u don't have whipped cream like me I used thick puck cream and mixed it with powdered shigar and it works the same ❤

I'm so gonna make that for a party one day! Also, somewhat optional, but I think that one important thing that people can do to make the cream thick faster is to freeze a glass bowl for 30 minutes to an hour at least as I've learned from one girl's recipe on making coconut ice cream. But otherwise, this recipe looks extremely doable. :)

So here's my problem, I did this last night and no matter what I did, The whipping cream just did not settle.
I needed some baking powder and cornstarch to make it solid. What did I do wrong? I added sugar and some vanilla, mixed and even whisked but no go.

i’d add vanilla to the whipped cream
Put the whipped cream on both breads and meet in the middle instead of spreading it on the berries. It’ll be much easier.

probably yeah but it'll vary in taste by brand
tried this and with white bread i didn't like the taste, i recommend trying to find japanese milk bread or using vanilla bread

I. didnt try these while in Japan, but I saw them in stores. I did try the ones from convenience stores with tomago, tuna, and ham and cheese and egg, so delicious. 7-11 stores there are so great with foods.

Hello. I just saw your question. As a pastry chef by trade, I'd like to help and offer some advice. If you make the sandwich and refrigerate overnight, it might get soggy from the moisture in the cream and the sugar in the cream pulling the juice out of the berries. You could make the whipped cream ahead of time and refrigerate in an air-tight container, prep the bread and berries, then assemble in the morning. You should get the same results. Hope this helps.

I made these sandwiches with mango and strawberry, but I did not do the saran wrap and I did not refrigerate them so now I know what to do. But they are absolutely delicious even though it was messy!

Whats the difference between Japanese bread and regular plain bread?
Fluffier? I’m guessing
Fluffier, has milk content, much more bolder on the outside, feels less processed and softer than white bread. Different kind of sweetness from white bread
@@K.kariin_256 you can, but its just not the same without the fluffy milk bread. If you live in a place similar to california you can find asian bakeries mostly taiwan/chinese that sell milk bread. white plain bread has perservatives and sugar aswell as refined carbs. So using white plain bread is kind of unconventional because you're already going so far as to make a strawberry sando with all these ingredients, but its essentially the same and itll taste fine.
So it it possible to just used store bought whipped cream I doubt it but I need some now!

Yes but it will take a long time because the electric mixer incorporates air into the whipping cream way faster than just mixing yoursef
