29gish For fun is even worse, all the world class players try to disturb and let down players that are trying to get better online. I'm sorta a meh/meh smash player that can easily KO 7-8 lvl ai and I have the PERFECT amount of lag online to predict, dodge, then attack them from behind with roll.

I never play For Glory nowadays because I keep going up against players who are 'pretending' to be causals and end up making me look like an actual casual, like the moment they spam projectiles or roll dodging and when I do run up and dash attack them or grab them they actually grabbed me and edge-guard the stage leaving no exact option to how to go around edge guarders.
***** While this all would help it still doesn't change my mind about giving For Glory another chance because I tired of loosing all the time, people nowadays care and brag about is their stat records like oh this guy scored 50 wins and 4 losses and they'll brag that they're better, I'm not that good at Smash at all and I do not wanna end up like a ragdoll in every 1v1 match I come across in For Glory.

Just learn which moves combo into eachother and which throw kills earliest and which combos the best. You shouldn't do too bad if you practice this against a few CPU.
holy crap, these are actually pretty good tips man, now i know why me playing as link with 1 life & 150%+ has made epic turn-around victorys. heres a few tips also. 1) Read Enemies - Just like how even twins have different personalities, 2 people playing as the same character have different fighting styles. One person may go full-attack, another may focus on chipping away until they can fit smashes in the right time. use that to read patterns in a fighter, and if you see that fighter again (like how I have seen DOMOBOT 8x already on different days) then you will know how to beat them even if they change characters. 2) Hide Yourself - I dont mean hide yourself from combat, i mean hide your fightin style the best you can. someone is bound to use my tip 1 against you, the best way to fight back is by changing up. I am uncomfortable jumping to edge-guard, that is my weakness and is often what people take advantage of. so once in a while i push out of my comfort spot & jump out to a recovering fighter. they get caught off-guard by my bold move and falter for me to KO. so dont be afraid to push your limits, its just a game afterall 3) Contingency - think of it like this... there are gunners, brawlers, and swordsmen (plus a swordswoman). brawlers focus on power, gunners focus obviously on range, and swordsmen focus on speed and reaction (countering & evading). each of these has a strength against one and weakness to the other, essentially making it a confusing rock-paper-scissors game. pick at least 1 fighter in each of these fields to be a main. for instance, Fox will destroy Samus in combat thanks to his reflector but can do little to stop Little Mac from dealing damage, pick your best of each field & alternate to them if your opponent starts wising up to one

In my experience of Smash Bros. games (including reaching the semi-finals of a local tournament), I can say that sometimes, Lv. 9 CPU is not enough. Sometimes, using the training room is a good idea. Though, when going to the training room, I spend time attacking a standing opponent for a while, so I can practice some strategies I thought up or saw online. Then, I set the CPU to be an attacking opponent (usually I keep the Training Mode CPU at Lv. 9). Setting them to evade is good, too. The one thing I don't do in training is to put in items. I only use items in Smash mode (just to goof around, but that's me). The other thing I found that works just as well is to continue trying. I actually lost a couple times on For Glory (both 1-on-1 and on Team Mode). But each time I lost, I started to understand the opponent and what they were trying to do. All I did was wait for an opening and capitalized on it.
I think a sub-category you can add to "stop excessive rolling" is baiting out an airdodge as well. A lot of people seem to airdodge after I throw them (my D-Throw with Ness lol) and then I just bait out an airdodge and hit them with an Up Air once they're done. Same can be said for counters.
Namu Tree Well, you could say I am a noob even though I play as Fox, a character that requires skill. Also, am I a noob if I can beat a level seven CPU and can barely beat a level 8?
along with "less rolling" goes with, don't be afraid to hang in shield for a little while. if you have to block an attack its better to let your shield take a little damage and be safe rather than make a risky roll or miss time a spot dodge. So many times I and other players have been punished for not staying in shield and punishing a laggy smash attack. Thats just from my matches and watching streams/videos.
I dont know if why i suck so bad. I can beat a level 9 CPU, a level 50 amiibo and i even won a local tornament, hell i always win at smash but when i go one on one i always lose. I just dont get it. I thought i was at least somewhat good i but either im just not good enough or im always paired with the best. Im so irritated.
I don't get what you mean. If you think me saying to play CPU lvl 3 + hitting training mode to find out more cool stuff about the character = me not wanting anybody to get better, then you got some backwards thinking.
Keith Wayne what i mean is: i saw you saying the same for some other people in the comments section but not really explaining why lvl3 cpu. i assumed that you were just trolling, but if you are serious about it, care to explain pls? if you are being serious, then my bad if i understood otherwise, you know, internet are full of trolls, so its not that common to see other kinds of people lol
I'm being completely serious when it's comes to helping others, but it's hard to explain why to multiple people who really don't understand the game thoroughly to get any references. So I rather just tell them what to do to get better instead of the why for time. I probably should had just made a new post and make it super thorough, but i already made my move lol. And I didn't mean to be aggressive or anything I just thought you were trying something. I'm sorryi
Also to me it helps to grab the ledge. It's less punishable, for example fox's up B if you don't grab the ledge and you landing on the stage you're going to get hit. After the up B you can't do anything until you land, even worse when you're at a high percentage
All I'll say is if you have a bad connection for online play, then there are 3 things I recommend: 1. Find a way to connect your Wii U through a Wii Ethernet cable and LAN adaptor to make the connection better 2. If you can afford it, get better online, its not an option for everyone but if it is then do it 3. Don't play online, if you are the one person in a match with a bad connection, it ruins the match for everyone I've played some random online matches with no lag, others with a ton. When I play with friends online who have a good connection like me, theres no lag or frame drops at all. So it's not the Wii U's or Smash's online thats bad at all. Its the people who have a bad connection that make the match lag.
I wish team battles in for glory was like...well for glory 1vs1. How come in 1vs1 for glory they have 2 stocks and 7:00 minutes when they don't have that in for glory team battles?
I love SSB43DS, but it's just too bad that my L and R buttons don't work. Since I can't bind keys to the Dpad, which is disappointing, I basically have to choose between a grab or a shield to bind to the Y button. Both have their pros and cons such as a shield makes it hard to throw opponents and items and a throw makes you play more aggressively and you'll be able to get past an opponent's shield but you probably won't have to do any more keybinding and relearning SSB like with the shield option. I'm going to get a NEW 3DS LL when they come out next year and I'm going to play a lot of Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and LoZ:OoT 3D.
I learned that those holes right next to your L and R buttons if you blow into them hard enough, your buttons will start working again temporarily. I have to do it every time I go back online, but it's at least stable enough to not falter in the middle of a match.
For Glory just isn't much fun for me. I go online, i get my ass handed to me in numerous ways and it just feels like there is nothing i can do about it. This mode isn't fun at all without people around my (very low) level. A challenge is fine, but this goes way overboard. This game needs a ranking system badly.
I'm playing this game, jumping straight from smash 64. All you had in that game to dodge really was rolling. It's also hard for me to remember to grab because I play Link a lot and his grab in 64 was incredibly slow (still is kind of slow, but it has less lag after).
+Randal The Donut They also tend to use the moves you use and work more often. (proven) Plus, the extra damage they do is good for learning how to dodge lol
I really liked this video. I have two main thoughts about my own strategies as I watched this. (Though I don't play online much - I'm not confident in the speed of my internet connection.) 1.) While I usually tend toward center stage, when I'm faced against Little Mac, I actually prefer the edge of the stage, since his recovery is so weak. What are your thoughts on that? 2.)You mentioned a small vulnerability after a roll. I keep finding one BEFORE a roll. Like, I have my shield up, and then roll, and someone manages to smack me IN BETWEEN those two moments. I haven't gotten used to that new addition yet - been hit SO many times. P.S. - My Mario Kart 8 online play runs so smoothly. The same thing happened last generation, on the Wii, as well. I could Play Mario Kart Wii just fine, but Brawl lagged A LOT. What's with that?
I don't really see why everyone whines about dodge rolling. It's easy to punish if it's used too often. But it's also something that should be used often to avoid attacks.
really enjoying your videos, they are helping me to get away from the total amateur methods I usually use... and start punishing my friends really badly lolololol they are just scrambling around the stage confused now
Please make a Yoshi guide, Fire. Or a Falco guide. In the case of the latter, even though it might disappoint a lot of people, I think you should go over Falco's nerfs and tell Falco mains from the past that he should be played very differently from Melee and Brawl (laser camping is no longer reliable, don't d-air spike unless situation calls for it, etc.).
I tell you what I need to get better: I need to get rid of this damn ~0,5second delay that I always have in every online 1v1 for glory...Although my internet is quite good (~20ms in any other game, 8mb/s down 4mb/s up) I get button delay in EVERY fricking online game (and only online, it's not the tv or the controllers, offline runs perfectly) anyone knows how to improve this? I tried giving all the ports, putting the Wii U's connection to "DMZ" (which means it got like no borders) and I even own the lan adapter... This problem is really ruining smash for me.
Whenever I try to throw someone in a direction, I have to smash on the direction I want to throw so it takes a long time to throw them. Is there a way to throw down or sideways faster like in the video?
+Aj Calangian C stick GC controller or the Right analog stick on the Gamepad and I think Arrows on Pro controller aswell. Depending on what yo use. Go in controller options in smash 4 you'll see
question: What is a good way to ledge guard with Little Mac? I only do a charged side C, which never hits, but I dare not jump off with Mac, and you probably know why :P
If people roll behind you, Dsmash or Ftilt those rolls. If they jump from the ledge, use Rising Uppercut. If they getup attack and you anticipate it, shield and Dsmash. Dsmash can also stop certain recoveries like Marth's if timed right (can hit below the stage), he can't make it back without his double jump and he's not the best at recovering himself.
How to win at For Glory featuring me. 1. Choose Ness. Make sure its vomit blue 2. Go into battle 3. First thing you do is PK Fire a couple times 4. Next run upto your opponent and back throw 5. Rinse and repeat and do anything else witth Ness to ensure its a KO I did not make this strategy. As far as I am aware it was created by StylesX2.
hey ninbuzz whats youre miiverse so you can teach me to be better i would like to show you my mario strategy so i can see what i am doing wrong and what characters i should practice with
very helpful video!only the problem i seem to have online is that my opponents grab and...that's all they do... any tips?(also,i now realize i tend to roll too much, but if i don't,i'll get hit by their attacks)
I stopped rolling alot a while ago, but then oras came out and I stopped playing smash. I tried to play smash again, but I'm rolling so much now and just can't win any matches on for glory for whatever reason, I can't combo people anymore and everything seems harder and my fingers seem so stiff and my playstyle is alot slower too, It's not fun :(
Tips for glory: 1.Play as Ganondorf 2.Be one stock ahead 3.While your opponent is on the edge and your knocked off, GRAB DAT MOFO AND BRING HIM TO HELL
I play Smash on 8-player with six other people, where the center stage strategy is kind of... hard. I usually try to end up on one of the extremities and attack from there because not many people seem to go there. xP
Great video.I struggle against opponents like Samus or Link, who constantly poke at me with projectiles. As Shiek or some other fast character I manage to work around it a bit but I kinda feel lost against it. Any advice on that would really help me and others I believe.
It's a lot more of a drag... but i feel ya man... I hate going against R.O.B., Samus and Links for that same mather.. but hey, I'm a competitive player who mains villager, but loves using Bowser and a lot other characters.. maybe if you tell me which character you use i could tell you a counter meassure.
With shiek for example, it's preatty easy. Charge your needles and try to stop samus from charging that way (when he/she doesn't expect it or looks too confortable) then when you know they'll fire something at you (missiles, Arrows, anything R.O.B. shoots, Villager's Lloyd) just down B dude XD, Sheik's DownB jumps any of those things (and samus charged shot if not fully charged) and have a bit of ending lag that you can Punish with it ;) not to mention it is Sheik's most powerful hitting move.
Algreen Moya Currently I play Shiek, Shulk, Lucina and Zero Suit Samus. I should play more with those needles, I tend to ignore them because Shiek is just so fast and I like jumping a lot and I try to approach with forward and neutral airs when short hopping. Aaand my dodging isn't the best if not very... crappy. :D
Any tips on how to make your wi-fi or online experience better? Like every time I play online it's laggy as hell and my internet connection is beast. When I play mario kart online it's flawless but smash it's always laggy... Any help?
So it's just happens that I get all laggy matches everytime I play? I feel it could be me but i dunno cuz for fun 4 player smash works a lot smoother than for glory 1v1 matches...
Thanks for the tips! I feel like I'm a noob no matter how hard I try XD I have no other friend in real life that want to play smash either, which makes it even harder to practice with a real opponent XD
my friends beat me online but not in person and say their connection is perfect (which is BS). It's pissing me off because online is a massive handicap to me and it's not fun anymore. Ugh
So? Your opponent can predict your roll and punish. I hate players that spend the whole match charging their whatever and proceed to roll in the same direction. Plus, samus's roll in particular is slow.
+John Akuma Okay. I don't "hate" players. That's a bit harsh, especially if they are newcomers to the competitive scene. That type of play style I mentioned earlier is predictable and not fun to play against.
This helps but for some reason I can never seem to land a hit. I stopped rolling a lot to try to play a bit more defensive but I always seem to get blocked and punished for every move I use. I'm a Pikachu main and I usually only win by complete luck. Playing on the 3DS probably isn't helping, blast zones larger than on Wii U.
here's my issue: when I first started playing, I rolled excessively all the time. Now I do it out of habit, even though I know that it isn't a good thing to do. I thought about taking the shield option away, but the shield is quite valuable. I can't have shield and take away my ability to roll. Any tips on how to break my God-awful habit?
If it wasnt for lag online play would be great. When a match isnt laggy i can manage a second place in 4 player but if it lags im dead last in fourth place.
I was pretty good on brawl, but on the 3ds, my thumb jerks a lot, so it's difficult for me to not dash. It makes me suck and I'm tired of losing for glory matches against that one Mario who throws you at the beginning then spams up a till you're at 40%.I wish there was a ranking system similar to CSGO that allowed me to be against people my level. I hate using items and I really don't like the gimmicky stages so for fun just isn't fun for me :(
in smash have you ever had a moment where you were like... "Man im UNSTOPPABLE!!!" then you go to for glory then your like "wow i suck..."?
+Red Rednetter I thought lv 9 CPU's were supposed to be hard... For glory is a blood bath....
Litteraly my whole smash life
Why does this remind me of myself XD
yup.
Always :(
That moment when you destroy every CPU in the game and think you are at least competent and then go to For Glory and get utterly trashed T--T.
IKR I can defeat all CPUs lvl 9 but get fucked in the ass so hard in Glory mode.
Randal The Donut With me its the opposite. I wreck people in online mode but I cant even beat a level 9 CPU
philcrum you get paried up with autistic kids
29gish your profile pic says it all XD

Another tip: Avoid getting shield grabbed.
And learn to shield grab yourself.

Shield grabbing is so useful. It's also annoying when people grab you right when you land.

One thing I hate about For Glory mode the most (specifically one on one), is it's the only way to play stock matches.
Just change the rules on smash mode
I wouldn't mind seeing a video that goes more in detail on grabs with specific characters and/or scenarios

Mario grab up throw up B.
24 damage combo. Spam it, and you got a very salty opponent.
Mario's down throw is better at slightly higher percentages than up throw. Throw in some up tilts and uairs as well.

That's a cool way to look at it
Tyler Nope TL;DR
I don't like playing For Glory because I keep getting smacked, but I hate playing four player smash. They need a 1 v. 1 mode in For Fun.
Just practice lvl 3 CPU with time 20min and predict your opponents. You'll get there
Just learn which moves combo into eachother and which throw kills earliest and which combos the best. You shouldn't do too bad if you practice this against a few CPU.
+Keith Wayne thank you very much. this I didn't know. I thought you train with level 8 then try for glory only to be destroyed

Some other things I do is to balance what I do. Roll every now and then, work on recovery, work on aerial combat along with ground combat, use shield, don't defend or attack too much, ect.
Very nice tips. The SSB series of videos from you guys is pretty helpful and simple to understand. Very good videos, thanks
i think videos of you playing competitively would be a great way to learn for many people. timing attacks is especially most people's weak point such as many of my friends
What are you supposed to do against people where all they do is grab, roll, and shield?
Use Specials like Mario's Fireball or Link's Bow. And don't get near them 😉.
Grab them.. that's excesive defensive play.... easly countered with grabs of your own
Is it just as defensive as Brawl while not as severe?
Nah, Brawl was too floatty and also hard to die... this one's a lot less defensive, a lot has been added to improove the ofensive nature, like the ledge mechanics and speed / weight of the characters
Some competitive players seem to hate the edge-hogging removed. How do you feel about it?

EVERYBODY I repeat EVERYBODY is a pro on For Glory mode! ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
BS. I pwn noobs all the time.
Namu Tree Well, you could say I am a noob even though I play as Fox, a character that requires skill. Also, am I a noob if I can beat a level seven CPU and can barely beat a level 8?
CopperotonGaming Yea. The CPU are super weak.
How long have you been playing SSB?
CopperotonGaming Since the series began.
I see people getting really bad players but for me it's the opposite 😞
Silver Bobcat same
Silver Bobcat so it's not just me?!
Seriously though, I can't be that bad.
The Silver Bobcat definitely fox, falco, Mario, and pikachu
along with "less rolling" goes with, don't be afraid to hang in shield for a little while. if you have to block an attack its better to let your shield take a little damage and be safe rather than make a risky roll or miss time a spot dodge. So many times I and other players have been punished for not staying in shield and punishing a laggy smash attack. Thats just from my matches and watching streams/videos.
I love that "you see how vulnerable they really are"
As a pacman player I ignore grabbing most of the time
Great tips, man! Now I'm unstoppable with Marty in For Glory! 20 Win streak!
Gah. of course my main is used to show what NOT to do.. ;-:
Holy crap I found another fellow Olimar user xD
Captain Olimar Olimar/Alph mains unite! B)
•Sаıls• n.n
Yes, Olimar!
+Captain Olimar HOW DO YOU FIGHT AGAINST OLIMAR
These tips can really help me improve. Thanks so much!
These were some solid tips, thanks man!
this is very helpful. I'll be sure to use this when I'm playing with my friends. Especially my friend who is amazing with Pikachu.
Welcome to the under 301 club. How tou-- Nevermind, that's getting old.
U practice wrong. Lvl 3 CPU 1v1 is the way to go.
Keith Wayne you seriously dont really want to help people get better, do you?
I don't get what you mean. If you think me saying to play CPU lvl 3 + hitting training mode to find out more cool stuff about the character = me not wanting anybody to get better, then you got some backwards thinking.
Keith Wayne
what i mean is: i saw you saying the same for some other people in the comments section but not really explaining why lvl3 cpu. i assumed that you were just trolling, but if you are serious about it, care to explain pls? if you are being serious, then my bad if i understood otherwise, you know, internet are full of trolls, so its not that common to see other kinds of people lol
I'm sorryi
Love that last tip the most
Also to me it helps to grab the ledge. It's less punishable, for example fox's up B if you don't grab the ledge and you landing on the stage you're going to get hit. After the up B you can't do anything until you land, even worse when you're at a high percentage
As soon as I saw the Go for Grabs tips and heard how most new players simply don't grab I audibly said "same"
Great Tips for new players. Probably the best I have seen actually. Especially the grab tip.
Funny seeing you here. I thought you hated Smash 4's metagame.
And I agree.
Skeeter Mania lel what?
All I'll say is if you have a bad connection for online play, then there are 3 things I recommend:
1. Find a way to connect your Wii U through a Wii Ethernet cable and LAN adaptor to make the connection better
2. If you can afford it, get better online, its not an option for everyone but if it is then do it
3. Don't play online, if you are the one person in a match with a bad connection, it ruins the match for everyone
I've played some random online matches with no lag, others with a ton. When I play with friends online who have a good connection like me, theres no lag or frame drops at all. So it's not the Wii U's or Smash's online thats bad at all. Its the people who have a bad connection that make the match lag.
Thank you SO MUCH for the tactics regarding to destroying rollers.
:O this was extremely helpful! I'm totally gonna start rekking my friends!
I wish team battles in for glory was like...well for glory 1vs1. How come in 1vs1 for glory they have 2 stocks and 7:00 minutes when they don't have that in for glory team battles?
They don't want an another wombo combo.
***** lolololol
I think you could get your buttons fixed for like 20$ it doesn't cost much you know.
Shield and A at the same time is grab as well
I learned that those holes right next to your L and R buttons if you blow into them hard enough, your buttons will start working again temporarily.
Use smash ladder
I'm playing this game, jumping straight from smash 64. All you had in that game to dodge really was rolling. It's also hard for me to remember to grab because I play Link a lot and his grab in 64 was incredibly slow (still is kind of slow, but it has less lag after).
I can defeat all level 9 CPUs easily, but when I play Glory, I feel like I'm a noob who sucks dinosaur balls
Ugh, same here.
Another good way to practice is to get an amiibo. Think of them as higher leveled CPU.
Another good way to practice is to get an amiibo. Think of them as higher leveled CPU.
***** they do more damage
+Randal The Donut They also tend to use the moves you use and work more often. (proven) Plus, the extra damage they do is good for learning how to dodge lol
I would love a video that shows every move that is punishable and when to punish.
I just had a few lag advantages with Bowser Jr/Roy.. i did the explosion launch without hopping.
This was very helpful. I noticed that I haven't been using stage control or edge-guarding.
yeah, that was a while back. I've gotten much better since then
1:40 That is not an issue anymore, ppl have learned to beat shlds.
I'm impressed with myself I do almost all of these things! Although I had no idea that rage mode existed...
I really liked this video. I have two main thoughts about my own strategies as I watched this. (Though I don't play online much - I'm not confident in the speed of my internet connection.)
1.) While I usually tend toward center stage, when I'm faced against Little Mac, I actually prefer the edge of the stage, since his recovery is so weak.
This was really helpful, thanks man
I don't really see why everyone whines about dodge rolling. It's easy to punish if it's used too often. But it's also something that should be used often to avoid attacks.
Wow! Awesome tips man!
really enjoying your videos, they are helping me to get away from the total amateur methods I usually use... and start punishing my friends really badly lolololol they are just scrambling around the stage confused now
You should start doing some advanced gameplay for certain characters
Hey, do think you could do a video on combos? Like grab-to-attack type stuff? It's something that I've been trying to get better at.
Also, an Olimar guide would be great.
Please make a Yoshi guide, Fire. Or a Falco guide.
In the case of the latter, even though it might disappoint a lot of people, I think you should go over Falco's nerfs and tell Falco mains from the past that he should be played very differently from Melee and Brawl (laser camping is no longer reliable, don't d-air spike unless situation calls for it, etc.).
can you make a video with tips on how to short jump better?.. i could never get that done
Do a video on how to improve over all air game and strategies
Great video! Also, did Nintendo ever officially confirm rage mode?
I tell you what I need to get better: I need to get rid of this damn ~0,5second delay that I always have in every online 1v1 for glory...Although my internet is quite good (~20ms in any other game, 8mb/s down 4mb/s up) I get button delay in EVERY fricking online game (and only online, it's not the tv or the controllers, offline runs perfectly) anyone knows how to improve this? I tried giving all the ports, putting the Wii U's connection to "DMZ" (which means it got like no borders) and I even own the lan adapter...
This problem is really ruining smash for me.
How do you guys do forward tilts? I have a problem doing those and I can't reliably use them. Any tips or advice?
Excessive Rolling is my weakness! U hit it right in the head NinBuzz!
I actually learned so much. Thank You. :'-)
Combo setups for Link, Kirby, and Mario?
How to punish w/lag
How to punish
Hey I have a question.. How do you find the tourney section? In one of ur videos I saw it but I never saw it...
Question: is rage mode included in 3ds? I dont have the wii u mode
Go in controller options in smash 4 you'll see
+supermonkeyCL thanks for the advice
question: What is a good way to ledge guard with Little Mac? I only do a charged side C, which never hits, but I dare not jump off with Mac, and you probably know why :P
If people roll behind you, Dsmash or Ftilt those rolls. If they jump from the ledge, use Rising Uppercut. If they getup attack and you anticipate it, shield and Dsmash.
Dsmash can also stop certain recoveries like Marth's if timed right (can hit below the stage), he can't make it back without his double jump and he's not the best at recovering himself.
How to win at For Glory featuring me.
1. Choose Ness. Make sure its vomit blue
2. Go into battle
3. First thing you do is PK Fire a couple times
4. Next run upto your opponent and back throw
5. Rinse and repeat and do anything else witth Ness to ensure its a KO
I did not make this strategy. As far as I am aware it was created by StylesX2.
Is rage mode kind of like lucario at high percent? Would lucario get double if he was at high percent because of aura and rage mode?
Idk about double but yes he is affected by aura and rage,
The problem with "stop excessive rolling" is that HOW DO YOU GET A ROLLER INTO THE AIR
It’s so hard to hone my fastfall aerial game in FG IMO I’m normally fine offline tho.
hey ninbuzz whats youre miiverse so you can teach me to be better i would like to show you my mario strategy so i can see what i am doing wrong and what characters i should practice with
very helpful video!only the problem i seem to have online is that my opponents grab and...that's all they do...
any tips?(also,i now realize i tend to roll too much, but if i don't,i'll get hit by their attacks)
can you teach me how to really nail those spot dodges
i'm playing Smash Brawl
in in stage i use for racking damage
in off stage as finishing opponent
did i wrong?
character using peach
I roll a lot. Even when I am not in For Glory. Not because I want to attack more carefully, It's because of panic.
I stopped rolling alot a while ago, but then oras came out and I stopped playing smash. I tried to play smash again, but I'm rolling so much now and just can't win any matches on for glory for whatever reason, I can't combo people anymore and everything seems harder and my fingers seem so stiff and my playstyle is alot slower too, It's not fun :(
This was so helpful,thanks😊😊😊😊👍🏽👍🏽😀😀😄😄
2:00 you are missing *LUCARIO*
Tips for glory:
1.Play as Ganondorf
2.Be one stock ahead
3.While your opponent is on the edge and your knocked off, GRAB DAT MOFO AND BRING HIM TO HELL
Ah yes. The classic ganoncide. Too bad it only works on for glory scrubs.
I play Smash on 8-player with six other people, where the center stage strategy is kind of... hard. I usually try to end up on one of the extremities and attack from there because not many people seem to go there. xP
This is a compititive guide not a casual one
Thanks this helped alot
If I don't have both the 3ds and the Wii U, do I have to buy the DLC for mewtwo?
Aaand my dodging isn't the best if not very... crappy. :D
for a 2 on 2 i recomend heaveys why the hit hard and you do full power smash atacks easy
I've seen some of your vids on Nathaniel Bandy and Nathaniel Bandy's Cliche Let's Plays!! a lot and I've seen some but on here you earned a sub bro
how about some advanced edge guarding techniques?
I'm more of causal player, although I see Paluntena being used alot in For Glory.
hmm...
When i used to roll a lot, i don't smash. I just did it for invincibility.
my friends beat me online but not in person and say their connection is perfect (which is BS). It's pissing me off because online is a massive handicap to me and it's not fun anymore. Ugh
and rolling too much? what if u play as samus, lucario, etc and are trying to charge up your shot without getting hit and losing it?
Play for Glory, and whenever you roll, let go of the gamepad for 7 Mississippi seconds.
If it wasnt for lag online play would be great. When a match isnt laggy i can manage a second place in 4 player but if it lags im dead last in fourth place.
thank u this helped so much!!!!!
I hate using items and I really don't like the gimmicky stages so for fun just isn't fun for me :(
Ugh I main Sonic but I never grab anyone. I feel his grab range is small.
But sonic has numerous up throw combos.
