Nice video, thanks for sharing those boat ramps. Do you know about any boat ramp available in Islamorada or key largo for jet skis ??

@noidelvaron8538 - Thanks for the kind words. The only ramp in that area that I have used is at John Pennekamp State Park ( we went up to dive the reef ). It was a great ramp, but there are fee. Here is a link to all the boat ramps open to the public along the Keys. This should help you find the most convenient spots for you. ocean.floridamarine.org/boating_guides/florida_keys/pages/boat_ramps.html

Hi. I’ve watched a lot of your videos and subscribed. I get down to the keys a lot but will finally be bring a boat down. Classic Boston whaler (1960) 13.5. I’m very new to boat trailering and ramps. I’m trying to get practice in. (I’ll be alone). Question: can I beach up at blimp road easily while I park the truck and trailer? And at blimp, will I need to get moved at a certain time or can I stay out overnight and leave truck and trailer? SR 4A looks tricky. How about limits on leaving truck and trailer? I’d like to camp on a little island or even the boat and not worry about my truck/trailer getting towed by the county. Any tips will help

      Hi Deborah,
Thanks for watching! Here are a couple of thoughts for you. 1. Great to see you willing to trailer and boat alone, that is awesome. 2. I know people do leave their trailers/vehicles overnight on blimp road and I've never heard of anyone having a problem with theft while doing so. 3. Yes you can beach a small boat at Blimp Road while you park your vehicle, its rocky, but pretty well protected from most wind directions. 4. SR 4A is much tighter than blimp road to launch, retrieve, but there is a small dock to tie up to while parking your car. I know the FWC is planning to, if they have not already, charge to use this ramp 5. Another option is to use the ramps at Cudjoe Garden, really close to Blimp Road. They charge a small few but they have good parking in a really safe neighborhood. Hope this helps!
