Andy couple years ago i was buying couple takaways week close to my home Indian really good but was becoming to expensive, did some research to find home made sauces and stuff, found company in Bradford did jars but actually was only about 70% good bit better than shop sauces, then along comes East at home, ive been buying there sauces Madras, Vindaloo, Masala, amazing and for the first time found a restaurant style sauce, but since you started doing reviews spice kits ive followed your reviews and tried the spice kit Dopiaza other day was amazing restaurant style 100%, and will now try the butter Chicken, this East at home has convinced me not to waste money on takaways now there stuff is just as good if not better than takaway, best wishes Andy
Thanks yes they are amazing as good if not better than a takeaway, the butter chicken was top notch, hope you enjoy it, thanks for following really appreciate it 👍🏻
Hi Andy,I’m not a creamy curry sort of person, but it did look lovely, and I’m glad you enjoyed it so much, other people who like that type of curry should love it too.I am cooking mixed Indian lentils as I write this, which I’m going to add to a curry made with aubergines, courgettes, and tomatoes,it’s called clean out the refrigerator curry😂
I’ve cracked the British Chinese food and BIR curries so make from scratch , I use heavy aliminium pans for curries , adding the ground almonds is delicious but I have never seen a recipe that adds cheese , not something I would do but it’s your meal so your choice Andy , those ready spices for a recipe are good if people don’t have all the spices at hand . Glad you enjoyed 👍👍👍
It was really good, it’s the first time I have ever used cheese in a curry, it was an extrusion on the recipe card which came with the kit, it was really good 👍🏻
That’s what I like about your channel Andy, you always give us honesty. Thats made my mouth water. I’m definitely gonna get some. Thank you have a super lovely evening. 😊
@@fatandy I picked up two jars of Deluxe Tikka Masala with a spice packet in the lid for £1.49 each from Lidl, not tried it before as I usually make it from scratch but I fancy the lazy way for a change.
Hi Andy, that looked delicious, my mouth is watering. I always put grated mature cheddar on top of my own currys and have crucials yoghurt and mint on the side, it gives it a lovely taste.
Nice touch with the cheese. Traditionally, you'd add paneer, but cheddar also works fine. Great video, Andy. We love a good butter chicken in our house 👍
It was very nice, would never of thought of adding cheese, ok should of been mozzarella but unfortunately I didn’t have any, but like you said cheddar worked fine, I would definitely have it again 👍🏻
Another 6 mate! That looks amazing! Too bad smell o vision doesn't exist but that looks awesome. This isn't one of them burn the bum curries. This is rich and delicious, you need a nice garlic or cheese Naan to go with that.
I must admit I wasn’t either, it should of been mozzarella but I only had cheddar but it was really good, it was a tip on the recipe card if you wanted to add it as an extra I wasn’t going to but then I thought in for a penny in for a pound as the saying goes 😂 but I’m glad I did 👍🏻
I find butter chicken very tasty,Also like Chicken Tikka Masala and a must mention Tandoori Chicken from the line of Indian Foods. Good review as always Andy look forward to many more.
The dish that went into the oven, to cook the marinated chicken. Yeah, I thought the same thing, I remember one being filled with a home made apple crumble, mind you my dad tended to cook more often than my mum, so a slight variation on that memory for myself, however the dish does essentially look the same.
Definitely no cheddar cheese in a curry Andy if you are going to use cheese in these butter dishes it has to be Paneer cheese bit like Ghee it is not very wide spread and very expensive a paneer naan bread is a nice change from a keema or garlic and coriander nann 👍👍🥘🥘
@@fatandy that food looked so nice I can't make curry at all but that kit makes it simple. The TV chefs make there sauce don't they. But when ido it 😂 something goes wrong ,ithink it's the blend of spice icant get right
That looks ridiculously good, mate. The almonds and cheese are a stroke of genius. Not exactly WeightWatchers but, hey, you ain't going to eat it every day.
@Jonpaul1953 oh mate that was ridiculous, I would never thought of adding cheese to a curry, ok it should had been mozzarella I didn’t have any so I used mature cheddar, wow that was probably one of the best, whoever was the chef who thought of adding cheese wants a bloody knighthood, crazy but it worked, I had a portion left over so I had it for breakfast this morning 😂😂 I added a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of coconut and it was wicked 😂😂👍🏻
@@fatandy Your face said it all, fella. The mozzarella would've added more creaminess, but there was already plenty of that in there from the butter, cream, yoghurt and almonds. I reckon the mature cheddar was a good move. The bit of acidity and sharpness would cut through all of that. Curry for brekkie? Hope you had a slice of cold pizza to help it down, mate?. The breakfast of champions 💪🏆😉😁👍!

@fatandy mozzarella would work too, but as I said before, traditionally, you would add paneer, which is an India cheese used to cook in many dishes 👍
Outstanding indeed!
Thanks
