    Brilliant! Before I make my all-singing, all-dancing outfeed table/work bench masterpiece, I really just need a simple outfeed table and this fits the bill perfectly! I know what I'll be making this weekend!

    By far, this is my favorite outfeed table design. It is easily removable and stored flat. Great job!! I'm off to view the video of what inspired you because I have to make this! Thank you!

    This is perfect! Simple and effective! Like how you keep it wider than the table saw width. I see in comments you have a link of what inspired this. Will check that out and watch your video a few times. I’ll be building this one! Thank you!

      Try a different blade. The laser cut Diablo blades seem to run a little quieter. They definitely cut better.

    very interesting system. I like how you didn't have to drill into the saw's frame or you table's stand.

    Great job, only thing I would change is to have the entire table come off in one piece and the the supports to fold in toward another. But awesome job and insight.

    • @HouseDoctorRay
      @HouseDoctorRay  4 года назад +3

      I considered folding supports but would've required more engineering to make it stable. I may redo it with the brackets I used in this video:

    Very impressive, but I don't have or can afford the thousands of other tools you used in this project like drill press, sanding belt, band saw, jig saw, etc ....

    • @nobrand7957
      @nobrand7957 Год назад +2

      I had to do a cheaper alternative. Bought a 4" x 2" pvc folding table from Office Depot ($39). To raise the table, bought heavy duty pvc pipe (1/2") and cut into 4 12" pipes ($5). Pipes slide over the legs to raise my table up to near even with my table saw. Table is about 3/8" below table. To hold my table tight against the table saw, I use two (2) 12" zip ties ($1).
      When not in use, table folds up. I use painter's blue tape to affix PVC pipes with my folded table.
      My table works great. It takes me about 3 minutes to assemble for use. All cut wood slides off the table & lands gently on my pvc table.

      You don't have to have all those other tools. A hand drill and sandpaper would work and you could use a $5 coping saw to cut the notches.

      It'll hold the weight but not the length of an 8 footer.

      Unfortunately I don't have plans. I just winged it. I got the inspiration from this link.

      Thanks. I stole the idea and put my own twist on it. In the video description you will find a link to where I got the idea and to the tools I used. Just hit the down arrow on your phone \/ or 'more' on your PC. The original video has links to an instructable with dimensions.

    I love the idea but I'd want an out feed table to come flush to the back edge of the table saw. I would cut a relief on the underside of your platform so it can be pulled tight against the back of the table saw. I would not want any gaps.

    • @HouseDoctorRay
      @HouseDoctorRay  4 года назад +1

      Can't be flush on this saw because of the way the fence attaches.

      A bit late, but glue/tape a narrow spacer ontop of the fence rack. Not super flush but flushier...
      And bevel the edges if needed.
