Automatic thumbs up for orienting us to the finished product before launching into pieces and procedures! (Please note, this isn't a sarcastic slow clap: your videos are always very good in that respect. It's just one of my pet peeves!)
Thank you, April! I have been watching your channel for several months and enjoyed every episode. You have no idea how incredibly refreshing it is to see a young person simply tackle every do-it-yourself task and be unafraid to make mistakes, which is the heart of human learning. Also your sharing attitude and correcting errors makes me smile every time since I have made many errors myself while making things. If I could have one more granddaughter ( I already have two.), I wish she could be you. I always told both my daughters and my son that they could do anything they put their mind to and they are pretty much can and do. I bet your family raised you that way as well. Thanks for all the videos, ideas and enjoyment. Keep up the great work! ...Another Texan
I discovered you through Jay's channel. Nice table design and the humor you interject brings a big smile to my face. May you cut straight and your glue never run out. Cheer!
I love your design philosophy, making everything in your shop as movable and collapsible as possible, yet still very functional. I'm slowly working toward your "every tool has its place" philosophy that has changed my life. Keep up the great videos!
April. I used your design and video to build this ofolding outfield table for my PowerMatic contractor saw. I added adjustable length feature to the folding legs for those days when the shop floor is not quite level. Was tough to get the stationary section installed and at the proper height, but this adds a great measure of safety while saving shop floor space when not needed. Thank you for sharing your design on RUclips.
Hey April! The out feed table looks great! I built a similar one for my table saw recently and found that I needed to extend the table saw miter slots into the outfeed table to accommodate my crosscut sled. Wasn't hard to do. Great job!
This is a great space saver for a small shop & easy to clean under in a large shop. I got my training in wood working in a 50 X 80 = 4000 square feet shop, that I will not build for myself, but loved the space. We had a kitchen cabinet full set finished & put aside to start a new project, while waiting for a deliver date.
I have watched so many videos on outfeed tables and none matched what I wanted. I never thought of slotting it into the angle iron - absolutely brilliant, thanks April. I will steal this idea.
a table saw on wheels. Totally went over my head like a field goal and totally changes the whole dynamics of my workshop plans. I could get lost in your workshop ideas.
Thanks April! I've just been sitting here thinking about building a collapsible outfeed table and here you posted this within 5 minutes. It's just what I want! You're awesome!!
What a great thought out project and video. It's a pleasure to not have to sit through a video that takes 30 minutes to show 5 minutes of information. I can't wait to see what other videos you've made.
I have been watching your channel for a couple of years now. It's great to see how far you have come in a short time. I wish you all the success in the world, in all that you do.
Great project April. I have the same saw and have been using my bench as an out feed. I've thought about an out feed table but never found a design I liked and have been too lazy to design myself. I think you nailed it. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad to see that you finally built an out feed section. It took a while for me to do mine but after doing it I couldn't believe I went so long without. Keep up the projects, I always enjoy your work.
Also, great looking outfield table. Looks very sturdy, really good functionality and I love the versatility and ease of how you can lift it up or fold it away.
Hi April, I subscribed, and wanted to say thankyou for inspiring me to try and make my own furniture. I'm in the UK, and so much emphasis is made about solid wood furniture. But after seeing most of your plywood projects, I think use of plywood can be of the same quality, and is waaay more environmentally friendly in reusing off cuts of wood. Keep up the great work 👍
Excellent video, thank you. I used the Rockler locking leg brackets on my my drop down workbench ( The Workshop Journey is my channel.). I have been using the workbench for about 3 years now and I am totally pleased with the brackets.
April, I stated last week about the outdoor shower being your best designed project to date. I believe this week's project is of equal quality or better! Keep the good things coming on your channel, they're great!!! ....13
Great vid April! I love that addition of the "mounting block" at the rear of the saw. It provides a greater range of options when you attach the table. I'm going to replicate that for my outfeed table. Great idea! Thanks!!!
Nice work April! I used to use those clunky old lag screws but since have found Spax screws. Great holding power and easy to install. You're going to like that outfeed table.
great video, I've enjoyed all your videos not only because it is completed as execution and construction and conception idea but mainly because rejoice like a child .... continued so well done
Got something out of it we did April, just like always! Thanks for sharing, I have learned SO much from watching your videos. You inspire me to tackle many things.
I really like the layout, especially the legs. I inherited my dad’s old workbench that has a butcher block maple top. He used it as an outfeed table in his garage. I’m a bit more limited on space so plan on adapting it like this. I bought some gas lift struts to assist in lifting it into place.
Nice job, April!! I bought a Chinatown (Harbor Freight) woodworking table on sale, and then cut blocks to go under the table legs, bringing it to the height of my table saw bed. Screwed the blocks to the bottom of the table legs and - while not a pretty as your outfeed table, it gets the job done... and I can use the woodworking table for other projects.
So I just built one of these. Thank you for the plans. I couldn't find the distance the 1/2" cleat hole needs to be in order for the table to close/fold. I'm sure it's someplace... but the center of the cleat hole needs to be 3/4" down from the top, and 1.1875" in from the cleat edge. (that's 3/16" for the woodworking folks.
About to build this. Thanks for the info.... what size lag bolts/screws did you use? April wasn’t specific in the plans, which just called for 1/2”, but they don’t look like 1/2” in the video. Also length, I’m guessing is 2 1/2 or 3 “ for attaching the cleat to the table saw, but I’m not sure what is needed for attaching the outfeed table to the cleat?
April I really like the jump ahead! It really makes the process more understandable. Wish more would do this. I have the Woodsmith version for my craftsman table saw and use it almost daily. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!
I am so happy you decided to do this project. I love watching your videos and really was not thrilled with the stands(as good as they may have been). Keep working and making videos. We love you and the practical projects you do! :-)
I really like the folding hinges and the thing you use at the tip of the table legs for adjustment to (possible uneven) floor level; that's what I've been needing for the sewing table I built. You've got a great outfeed table!! Thanks for sharing : )
Now THAT's just what I need, Thanks for the inspiration!! I have a very small music room, and a Very large (audio) mixing- desk for which I need a table top that folds down just so it's not in the way when I play my keyboard underneath it. I know, it's kind of difficult to explain, but your idea here has just given me an idea, even a "Eureka moment". Thanks!!
Super nice out feed table , and as to your floor I wish my garage floor was that level ! lol took me 2 days to build and level a base for my table saw and now to build the rest.
Sweet build. I've got a Delta Contractors saw with tube rails front and back for the fence. I've been using roller stands on the outfeed side. I plan on making a free standing bench/outfeed/router table, but like you, I keep putting it off... Maybe this winter...
Your designs are over-engineered but no worse for it. I am really impressed by all of the stuff you'e done. I can't believe you only started a few years ago! Anything that shows that woman can be excellent woodworkers is a good thing especially as the barrier to entry is so much lower now power tools are so cheap and readily available.
great video as usual! I'm so very impressed. also, I'm amazed at how many comments there are that are quick to criticize and point out what you should've done. Missing the point of what these videos are all about.
Man I know it, I don't get it. Obvious I thought about a few different things while building this and I chose to build it the way I built it. I'm glad you like it. : )
A big thank you for listing the hardware like the folding leg brackets, ect.! I like this design even though its a little more work than a piano hinge..it looks great, :- ) .
There was a light "Growling" sound in the beginning that sounded like a very young troll! Made your Great video OUTSTANDING! Thanks April for a wonderful project.
Great idea. I'm going to be modifying my table saw setup soon by adding a cabinet for it to sit on/roll along with 6" dust collection and an outfeed table. Will def borrow this idea, thanks!
Great work, thanks for the inspiration to build my outfeed table. I like that you show the final result in the beginning so we can visualize as you go. That is helpful!
This project can be adapted to make other projects as well, for example; a table with folding extensions on either end, or a portable folding table/platform. Great build, April!
I have a Craftsman folding table saw and have wanted to build an out feed table for years. Excellent Job and you have given me some simple ideas. Thank you! KSWOODWORKER
This is a great build. Thanks! I built it 6 months ago for my cabinet saw, and it is awesome. Fast to build. Works perfect. Tucks away fast and compact. What more could you want in TS outfeed table?!
Nice techniques on this build! 1/16 under flush, That’s what i was debating for my outfeed. TY for posting!!! (I’m gonna use the blue tape on small glue ups from now on.)
Great job, again, April. If I might make one suggestion. I understand you went with pine and similar materials because they were cost effective. My experience with functional shop fixtures such as this has shown that they get used a lot, take a lot of hard wear and when I went with softer woods such as pine or fir, they did not hold up well over time. I suggest using harder woods, such as maple, for the trim pieces and mechanical pieces (such as the pivot). Your design and execution are excellent. I'm sure this fixture will give you many years of use.
That is a beauty April! I'm (2) yrs late in the comments, new to your channel. The tapered legs is a really nice touch too. Once again, you have given me some great ideas moving forward with my workshop... Merry Christmas, Bill... :-)
It is awesome to finally see a woodworking how to video made by another woman! Encouraging to little girls who want to do something besides play with Barbies and I just appreciate the representation. Women with interests in tools.and building do exist!
I love your projects, and your easy way of teaching as you go. If I had to pick a nit though, it would be your safety glasses sitting firmly on top of your head while working with your drill in multiple sequences. I suppose it does keep the chips out of your hair though. 😁
Very nice job on the folding outfeed table. This style would work perfectly on my table saw since I don't have the shop space for a non-foldable version.
Nice. Thanks for the share. I have recently re-organized by shop and which will allow me to finally move my Table Saw back into my shop (its in the shed right now) and I will need/want a outfeed table. Your design idea gives me some ideas.
I've needed one for years too! I'm going to build mine 'skeletonized' so it's light but strong. I have a Vega fence and it has a square tube on the outfeed side so I'm going to have to design my fixed 'block' a little different, but you gave me lots of ideas and inspiration! I may have to drill in blind holes in the tube and drill and tap for bolts to mount to it.!
Can't believe I haven't run across your channel before now! Some finish will make things slide easier on your outfeed table. (I typically use laminate for the top of my home-built stuff like this - wood slides on it effortlessly.)
Hi April, I was looking to build an outfeed table for my Grizzly Table saw which is very similar to yours with a Shopfox fence. The one issue I ran into was that the Grizzly has a piece coming out the back of the saw which extends both above and below the fence supporting the guard. I wanted to have the ability to use the guard when I am ripping because it has a splitter on it. Your method of sandwiching 4 pieces of pine together to make the beam that attached to the fence worked out great because I could just cut each layer where I needed to to fit over the guard support. I was forced to use 2 additional pieces because I wanted a solid board at the bottom. This also forced me to have a larger gap between the fixed piece and the larger table so it would swing down properly without hitting the beam. Just looked at your inserts with the T-Track and they look great! I will probably tackle that next, but not sure I have the guts to route up to the Steel, so I will probably take it off to do it. :) One last thing, I love your ability to break everything down and I have subscribed and can't wait to see what other project you have on your channel!
Excellent project!! Came out BRILLIANTLY! Well done! This could be used for so many other applications aswell I think if tweaked slightly, so really good. Cheers from London England 👍❤️💪😎🏴
hahaha @ outro this is a really cool idea! I have a table guide installed on the back of the table saw, so I'm gonna have to see if it's possible to even build an attachable outfeed table. *your videos are always inspiring! keep up the great work!*
Automatic thumbs up for orienting us to the finished product before launching into pieces and procedures!
(Please note, this isn't a sarcastic slow clap: your videos are always very good in that respect. It's just one of my pet peeves!)
That's a great extension table! I like how you never do a direct copy of what someone else has done. You always put your own ideas into each project.
Thank you. : )

Just one question - does your fence not ride on the angle iron?
OK - saw the reference to the Laney Shaughnessy method. Thanks!
Nice, simple to make, uncomplicated folding outfeed table unlike many builds I’ve watched before coming across yours. Thank you.
Thanks! Glad you found it useful. Thanks for watching.
a table saw on wheels. Totally went over my head like a field goal and totally changes the whole dynamics of my workshop plans. I could get lost in your workshop ideas.
Came out nice April and you did manage to use some materials on hand. I really like the groove idea to slip into the back rail.
Nice to see your "happy reaction" to a project that comes out as you desire. I have the same smile now and then it and that's what keeps me creating.

Thanks AW. You always come up with the Most intuitive and practical shop projects. For a newbie to woodworking your lessons are priceless.

Nicely done April. The glue lam extension is brilliant; just the right mass to match the table saw.

Got something out of it we did April, just like always! Thanks for sharing, I have learned SO much from watching your videos. You inspire me to tackle many things.
I love your excitement at having a job turn out right.
Another great video April, & it was great talking to you at the meet & great in Cincinnati,,,,
This is just what I need I have the same issue not enough room for a stand alone outfeed table and your design fits the bill. Awesome build!!
I really like the layout, especially the legs. I inherited my dad’s old workbench that has a butcher block maple top. He used it as an outfeed table in his garage. I’m a bit more limited on space so plan on adapting it like this. I bought some gas lift struts to assist in lifting it into place.
What a great idea! I know he's glad you have his table top. Very cool indeed. Enjoy the build. Thanks for watching.
Great looking. Thanks for posting. Also great meeting you at the show.
: ) It was awesome getting to meet you in person Tom.
Looks great, April! The PacMan still cracked me up the second time too.

Very nice table. I love how you attached the block to the saw, very creative.
I love how that works out so you don't give up all that shop space, and can resist using it as a catch all.
Hello April. I like the accuracy of your projects ...
April, you rock on these projects. If I can ever afford a Saw Stop I will be using this idea. Thanks.
I am so happy you decided to do this project. I love watching your videos and really was not thrilled with the stands(as good as they may have been). Keep working and making videos. We love you and the practical projects you do! :-)

jay bates sent me, had to see the folding version of the collaboration table. quite impressed.

Thanks!!
Two years. Bout time you came around. ;-) Turned out great, kiddo. And, nice a cappella! Troy
April ..great idea for mounting to the existing angle iron on your saw. Nice work!
Super nice out feed table , and as to your floor I wish my garage floor was that level ! lol took me 2 days to build and level a base for my table saw and now to build the rest.
What a great idea love the idea on the hole transfer that's using your head. It's always a good day when u can dance on your project .😊
: ) Thank you. Haha yep, felt sturdy so I was happy.
Hey, That was the first use I've seen of the Triton Planer. The build looks very sturdy and very effective. ;}
It's a quick and handy tool. Thank you!
Great videos April. The ones I have seen were very organized, easy to follow, and straight forward. Thank you, and Keep up the good work.
Jae
Sweet build. I've got a Delta Contractors saw with tube rails front and back for the fence. I've been using roller stands on the outfeed side. I plan on making a free standing bench/outfeed/router table, but like you, I keep putting it off... Maybe this winter...

Awesome! Thank you!
Well done April you feel much safer and confident with larger sheet goods enjoy your build!!
Great idea. I'm going to be modifying my table saw setup soon by adding a cabinet for it to sit on/roll along with 6" dust collection and an outfeed table. Will def borrow this idea, thanks!
That design of that outfeed table is genius! I only have a portable table saw, I'd have to figure something else out. I really like your channel!
just waiting on my king table saw to come in and was watching Jay's channel and saw thing....total gold!
Great work, thanks for the inspiration to build my outfeed table. I like that you show the final result in the beginning so we can visualize as you go. That is helpful!
This project can be adapted to make other projects as well, for example; a table with folding extensions on either end, or a portable folding table/platform. Great build, April!
Great design and execution! Your work is really impressive!
Glad you like it!
Took m a minute to see what you were doing with the test piece at the end, then I woke up the dog laughing! Great job as always.
; ) Haha, just having some fun.
I love the idea of the mounting block. Starting building mine today. Thanks
That is a beauty April! I'm (2) yrs late in the comments, new to your channel. The tapered legs is a really nice touch too. Once again, you have given me some great ideas moving forward with my workshop...
Merry Christmas,

It is awesome to finally see a woodworking how to video made by another woman! Encouraging to little girls who want to do something besides play with Barbies and I just appreciate the representation. Women with interests in tools.and building do exist!
Well done! You will be like I can't believe I waited so long to do this after you have had it for a bit.
I love all these videos. I particularly like the looks of joy when things go right
Nice work April, good job with the clamps!
Excellent solution and amazingly simple. Don't forget to cut the slot to continue the miter slot or you will have a sudden stop when not expected.
Great job April!! You have given me exactly what I was looking for!!
I love your projects, and your easy way of teaching as you go. If I had to pick a nit though, it would be your safety glasses sitting firmly on top of your head while working with your drill in multiple sequences. I suppose it does keep the chips out of your hair though. 😁
Another great project. Personally, I really like when a project video starts with the finished product looks like at the beginning.
Very nice job on the folding outfeed table. This style would work perfectly on my table saw since I don't have the shop space for a non-foldable version.
I'm new to the channel. Nice to see someone giving a thought for the aesthetics even when doing an outfeed table :D
that is nice and sturdy along with convenient, nice job April. the end cracked me up.
Hi April awsome job quick and easy i like how you used the bracket on the saw to attache it thank for the video and enjoy the new year.
Nice. Thanks for the share. I have recently re-organized by shop and which will allow me to finally move my Table Saw back into my shop (its in the shed right now) and I will need/want a outfeed table. Your design idea gives me some ideas.
Cool little table. I like the little piranha at the end.
I like your folding one better than the one you guys built for Nick. Especially for a small shop. Nice work.
you get better and better every video. amazing how much you have grown since you started making things...
Nice work April... you killed it yet again.
Keep up the good work
April you make it look so Easy!!! Very helpful tutorials
I've needed one for years too! I'm going to build mine 'skeletonized' so it's light but strong. I have a Vega fence and it has a square tube on the outfeed side so I'm going to have to design my fixed 'block' a little different, but you gave me lots of ideas and inspiration! One last thing, I love your ability to break everything down and I have subscribed and can't wait to see what other project you have on your channel!
Excellent project!! Came out BRILLIANTLY! Well done! This could be used for so many other applications aswell I think if tweaked slightly, so really good.
Cheers from London England 👍❤️💪😎🏴
Thank you very much!
hahaha @ outro
this is a really cool idea! I have a table guide installed on the back of the table saw, so I'm gonna have to see if it's possible to even build an attachable outfeed table. *your videos are always inspiring! keep up the great work!*
well thought out and executed as ever April, might want to finish it with a bit of PU for longer term protection and scratching....
Really like the collaborative videos and this build works great for me. I agree with the comment re showing the finished product at the beginning.
I love my Irwin clamps. For light duty work, they're my go-to clamp. They're inexpensive and simple to use.
yep agreed!
