Automatic thumbs up for orienting us to the finished product before launching into pieces and procedures!
(Please note, this isn't a sarcastic slow clap: your videos are always very good in that respect. It's just one of my pet peeves!)
So I just built one of these. Thank you for the plans. I couldn't find the distance the 1/2" cleat hole needs to be in order for the table to close/fold. I'm sure it's someplace... but the center of the cleat hole needs to be 3/4" down from the top, and 1.1875" in from the cleat edge. (that's 3/16" for the woodworking folks.
About to build this. Thanks for the info.... what size lag bolts/screws did you use? April wasn’t specific in the plans, which just called for 1/2”, but they don’t look like 1/2” in the video. Also length, I’m guessing is 2 1/2 or 3 “ for attaching the cleat to the table saw, but I’m not sure what is needed for attaching the outfeed table to the cleat?
Looks super strong... do you think you could have made your block even deeper and it stay nearly as sturdy? I need to build a larger outfeed for my sawstop, and would need for my block to be deeper to allow out-feed table to not hit dust collection when folded down.... great design! Used an adaptation of this on my last saw and loved it (it didn’t require the “block” and didn’t have dust collection on back)
Thank you, and look forward to hearing your opinion
Looks great, April! The PacMan still cracked me up the second time too.
Hey April! The out feed table looks great! I built a similar one for my table saw recently and found that I needed to extend the table saw miter slots into the outfeed table to accommodate my crosscut sled. Wasn't hard to do. Great job!
That's a great extension table! I like how you never do a direct copy of what someone else has done. You always put your own ideas into each project.
Thank you. : )
April, It looks like you used 2x10s to attach to the saw, which extends out a good bit. Any reason you didn't use 2x6s or 2x8s?
I have the same questions. I'm guessing to allow the table to clear the exhaust port when the table is lowered.?? Another question: the plans call for 1/2" lag bolts, but in this video is she using 1/2"? They look smaller to me. Don't get me wrong, this is an awesome design and I am building one (I already bought her plans).
At 5:00...was that your table dance?! 😂 :P
Great job and loved the ending too lol!
Happy Sunday April! :)
"table dance"??? Well played, sir or madam, well played!!!
Admit it: We've all had to "hump" something into place. Sometimes there's just no dignified way to do it.
😩

Thank you, April! I have been watching your channel for several months and enjoyed every episode. You have no idea how incredibly refreshing it is to see a young person simply tackle every do-it-yourself task and be unafraid to make mistakes, which is the heart of human learning. Also your sharing attitude and correcting errors makes me smile every time since I have made many errors myself while making things. If I could have one more granddaughter ( I already have two.), I wish she could be you. I always told both my daughters and my son that they could do anything they put their mind to and they are pretty much can and do. I bet your family raised you that way as well. Thanks for all the videos, ideas and enjoyment. Keep up the great work! ...Another Texan
Using the multistand to position the new outfeed table is like having to train the new guy taking your job. Poor, sad, multistand... ;-)
Haha, that's hilarious!
Came out nice April and you did manage to use some materials on hand. I really like the groove idea to slip into the back rail.
jay bates sent me, had to see the folding version of the collaboration table. quite impressed.
: ) Thank you.
This is a great build. Thanks!
I built it 6 months ago for my cabinet saw, and it is awesome. Fast to build. Works perfect. Tucks away fast and compact. What more could you want in TS outfeed table?!
Hello April. I like the accuracy of your projects ...
I love your design philosophy, making everything in your shop as movable and collapsible as possible, yet still very functional. I'm slowly working toward your "every tool has its place" philosophy that has changed my life. Keep up the great videos!
: ) Thank you.
The end was funny!! :)
; ) Thanks
Muito. Boa. Ideia. parabens. Carlos. Okumoto.
job well done ending was funny.
you will need a miter gauge slots, I will make one of those outfit table, thanks for sharing and funny end video!
As I said in the video, I'll cut them in when I make my cross cut sled next week.
Swet build , like the danse on the top at the End , that shows you trust your build lol
April, Always so safety conscious, but you drilled for all of the lag screws with your safety goggles on your head!
That turned out really nice April - that ending is too damn funny - miss having you guys in the shop for all that weirdness!
Does nicks comment say he commented 3 days ago yet it says the video came out 10 mins ago
yup - I'm a #ninjacommenter

Hi, Nick!
Honestly, seeing the three of you together in the woodshop would be a show that I'd binge watch. The three of you have really good chemistry... reminiscent of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May (Top Gear UK).
Nick Ferry super presentation, great comment
It'll probably become a crap catch-all like my outfeed table. I have to spend minutes clearing mine before I can use my table saw.
Mike Regan fold after each use and it won’t clutter ;)
Great job April!! You have given me exactly what I was looking for!!
Howdy April; Another fine project done well. Keep um coming. What no bloopers? You rock. TTFN.....
I discovered you through Jay's channel. Nice table design and the humor you interject brings a big smile to my face. May you cut straight and your glue never run out. Cheer!
You sure protect the top of your head well with those safety glasses when drilling and cutting.
NEW GAME ALERT...... Spot a Tool in this video that's not orange.
Lol...was that a reference to pac-man oh sorry mrs pac- man.....lol....very nice out-feed table....like that its not always there...so other tools are easy to get to....next time Jay and Nick going to have to go to Texas .....and bbq....lol
So glad I found your video. Really help me simplify my plans. I'm curious about how you calculated the gap between the anchor block and the table. Did you just guestimate, or is there some math you followed? Thanks in advance
Also, great looking outfield table. Looks very sturdy, really good functionality and I love the versatility and ease of how you can lift it up or fold it away.
I suggest you laminate the table top April, you won't be sorry. Once you wax it your workpiece will slide over it like it's on ice and glue drips will clean up easily.
I am so happy you decided to do this project. I love watching your videos and really was not thrilled with the stands(as good as they may have been). Keep working and making videos. We love you and the practical projects you do! :-)
First, your pretty good, and I like that. Second, your also pretty funny, and I like that also. Keep it up, From Victoria, Canada, Ciao
Hello ,I like all your videos .I know this is ,I know that they are focused to carpenters,But I don't found any videos were we can lear how to make any wood furniture or similar ,with the possibility of buying the pieces somewhere and with cuts made.
On my case I dont have a big shop to make many things ,but I like doing.
Good job April. Funny ending
great video as usual! I'm so very impressed. also, I'm amazed at how many comments there are that are quick to criticize and point out what you should've done. Missing the point of what these videos are all about.
Man I know it, I don't get it. Obvious I thought about a few different things while building this and I chose to build it the way I built it. I'm glad you like it. : )
That won't work .
Because you can't use the back rail for your fence.
You should have attached the table well clear off the back rail by mounting underneath and going upward to leave with the table saw
have you been approached by Dallas ISD to teach students about wood working?
All of the outfeed designs are on sawstop table saws, where their fence doesn't need to latch onto the back angle iron. :(
Considering the quality of your content it surprises me that you get so many dislikes. Maybe some guys feeling a little threatened or inferior? Either way it's weird. Personally it's the ones that just sit there and try to look pretty that worry me. I like people who aren't afraid to jump in there and do something. The ones that can think are my favorites. I just don't see what's not to like here...
You need deep reach C clamps - Matthias Wandel and John Heisz should have some how to make videos for such clamps.
Did you ever use a paste wax on the top so things slide nicely ?? I am going to do something like you did here, but for a table say I have that is very old, still a great saw but the small area of the top makes doing most jobs difficult when I am alone ... will be doing some side supports also using the folding ides and the swing hinge ides here ... great job ...
Great video but what bolt sizes did you use to bolt the cleat through the angle iron? I purchased your plans and you didn’t mention anything about the sizes for that. I have the same saw as you.
Any concerns about the weight of the mounting block warping the alignment of the cast iron wings &/or the angle iron?
How bout dem Cowboys? How many times did you change your shirt during the taping of this video?
Got the drill press stand plans for my Ryobi and now need an outfeed table for my Delta table saw. Somebody's sitting on all the plywood here in south Louisiana as all the Home Depot's and Lowes are all sold out.
Hello April,
I also have a sawstop: why did you make your table adapter stick out so far from the back of the saw?
Great job April
you just cant help yourself with climbing on it hey, i have noticed this through multiple videos of yours but hey if it holds you it is going to last then , Keep it April, love the work
is there a technical reason for glueing planks together rather than just buying the size block of wood you need? to me, who knows nothing, it seems like a waste of time.
That's a great outfeed table where did you get the idea to sandwich the wood on the metal bracket and then put a lag bolts up through it
I came up with the idea, I've never seen it done.
you came up with a great table
The sawstop Angle iron is ~89.5 degrees. This can make the slot cleat match that difference making your piece higher at the end at 0.005 per inch of taper. That makes a slight bevel cut necessary to dial that in perfect or your stock will likely catch. Luck to those with perfect 👍 90 angle iron.
Hi, I’m curious why didn’t you use plywood for the support that attaches to the table?
que da el trabajo bien echo trae fue es realizado por una mujer son cuidados y el togue femenino ante una tarea de hombre ya no hay nada gue una mujer no pueda acer asta mejor gue ellos Jijii te felicito buen trabajo
Two years isn't bad. It took me 5 years to put one on my table saw.
Молодец, очень хорошо все сделано и показано ,я не зная английский язык . смотрел видео как будто всегда знал и понимал английский а не русский спасибо за ваши очень хорошие видео
OM NOM NOM! That's all... :) Great job!
Haha. : )
Using your multi stand in order to replace it. That's just cold.
have seen a project you done that I didn't like.
Hi my name is Gage and I like to build and I am 11 years old and I like to watch your video so please keep on make your videos.
Hi April, did you have to drill through the angle iron on table saw?
Great work, but you didn't do the Matthais Wandel body slam test :D
Now THAT's just what I need, Thanks for the inspiration!! I have a very small music room, and a Very large (audio) mixing- desk for which I need a table top that folds down just so it's not in the way when I play my keyboard underneath it.
I know, it's kind of difficult to explain, but your idea here has just given me an idea, even a "Eureka moment".
Thanks!!
That's such a smart table ! I might pick up the idea ;) Thanks !
Denis
hello i want bolding the same for mécanique help my pliz
Excellent project!! Came out BRILLIANTLY! Well done! This could be used for so many other applications aswell I think if tweaked slightly, so really good.
Cheers from London England 👍❤️💪😎🏴
Thank you very much!
Great idea. I think I'll copy the idea for my table saw.
After reading everyone's comments/complaints on your dismal design and construction of this build (Missing a washer?!), ya need the temperament of JOBE . Why can't we ALL Thank You for a job well done. Thanks April. You show us a humorous way to deal with the project at hand. Enjoy the game today!
Nice project. Could you have put and angle cut on the mounting block to fill in the gap between the mounting block and the table? LOL on the end of the video
Yep totally could have, I just didn't think it necessary. The gap doesn't mess with the function and I don't think it looks bad so I left it. : )
i have got to build me this,,its really great,,,nice work,,,
I hear those safety glasses work better if they are actually in front of your eyes!!! thanks for another interesting project.
I am going to take a chance you may look at old video comments. Do you know of a leg leveler that you can make the adjustment with you hand instead of needing a tool?
Looks like an easy build. Don't forget to add slots for the miter gauge.
My fence clamps on the rear angle iron how can I clear that? Does yours just ride on the table surface
Nice work April! I used to use those clunky old lag screws but since have found Spax screws. Great holding power and easy to install.
You're going to like that outfeed table.
April, you are a smart and beautifull woman. You stonish me
Awesome build April! What about the T tracks on your table saw though? Would your slide miter stop once it hits that block on the back rail? Guess you could dado out the block so the slide miter didn't hit. Then again maybe you rarely use the miter slots on the table saw. If not one day you will build a sled :)
That's a great build, thankyou for sharing.
Wooo how many clamps... haha .
Another really useful project April I wish I had the space to set my saw up more permanently. I put mine on a work mate and Mum helps hold the material as it exits the saw, we make quite a team 😂 Can I ask what you think of those folding leg brackets I'm thinking of using them on my railroad base boards for quick set up ?
Love the table dancing 😂
Darren
I think your next piece of machinery should be an edge sander
Looks awesome!! How would I mount this to a table saw that doesn’t have holes already in the angle iron on the side?
Cool! You could also flip that table upwards and use it as a dart board or backboard for ping pong table. Now you just need to make the paddles. lol.. Nice job.
I like does collapsible hardware what are they called. I'm looking on line trying to find them.
Güzel Kız Kardeşim Bravo Sana....
SAYGILARIMLA
I have the exact sawstop saw but the angle iron is not an exact 90degrees so the table base is not level
Help
Aside from the greater weight, is there any reason you did not make this the same width as the table saw plus the wing?
Can I get a high five. you said it after I finished. Wha ha ha ha
I love your show T.T;
Also...itsa SIN to burn a Chevy shirt!
great video, I've enjoyed all your videos not only because it is completed as execution and construction and conception idea but mainly because rejoice like a child .... continued so well done
Hi april Wilkerson I love You so much And your tools
Can't believe I haven't run across your channel before now!
Some finish will make things slide easier on your outfeed table. (I typically use laminate for the top of my home-built stuff like this - wood slides on it effortlessly.)
Not fair April. You make it look soooo easy...lol. Very nice.
Like your videos because I learn something, but smile while I'm doing it !. Any chance you are going to the North of England Woodworking Show on the 18th, 19th & 20th of November in Harrogate, Yorkshire, England as Triton have a large trade stand there, and seeing how they sponsor you.... ? It's the largest one in England, so come on over April... the beers are on me !
And since I'm leaving my husband at home, us girls can show the blokes how it's done !!
Hope you can persuaded your sponsors you really need to go and meet some more of your fans.
Ooh that show sounds amazing but no I am not scheduled to be there. Email Triton and tell them you want me there. ; ) Maybe they will listen.
putting screws/bolts along the grain does not seem to be the longes lasting solution. How is it holding up?
I like your folding one better than the one you guys built for Nick. Especially for a small shop. Nice work.
Outfeed table is impressive. Even more so is the Old School Deion Sanders Jersey! Go Cowboys. And love the channel BTW. Keep Rockin...
Hi April, I was looking to build an outfeed table for my Grizzly Table saw which is very similar to yours with a Shopfox fence. The one issue I ran into was that the Grizzly has a piece coming out the back of the saw which extends both above and below the fence supporting the guard. I wanted to have the ability to use the guard when I am ripping because it has a splitter on it. Your method of sandwiching 4 pieces of pine together to make the beam that attached to the fence worked out great because I could just cut each layer where I needed to to fit over the guard support. I was forced to use 2 additional pieces because I wanted a solid board at the bottom. This also forced me to have a larger gap between the fixed piece and the larger table so it would swing down properly without hitting the beam.
Just looked at your inserts with the T-Track and they look great! I will probably tackle that next, but not sure I have the guts to route up to the Steel, so I will probably take it off to do it. :)
One last thing, I love your ability to break everything down and I have subscribed and can't wait to see what other project you have on your channel!
that is nice and sturdy along with convenient, nice job April. the end cracked me up.
Outfeed table looks good. BTW... if you need parts for that '72, check Classic Industries.
Hola April no contemplaste las ranuras guias.
...good to know that your hair is nice and safe 🤓👍🏼
