How to make a portable workbench for small workshops: Step 1: Have a big workshop.

Don’t forget the thousands of dollars worth of machine tools too. Finally a big bench to bolt it to so you can use it.

Exactly as, more or less...(say more), does every youtuber in this particular field!
And we, poor devils... would like to do it, but we don't have such a multitude of expensive tools. 😮😢... 😂😂😅😅
Btw... a really good job !

What a great idea to make and SELL to small workshops! People seriously need to stop being so negative...
I appreciate you sharing your skills with us! It takes time and effort to make videos. Some people don't understand you can adjust a project to suit their needs. There are places like Lee Valley that provide classes and you can rent shop space depending on the area...

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ruclips.net/user/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

Mine will have one soon now. 😁 Something mine does have is a routed-groove along the length of each jaw of the top which allows me to grip a soft tube along the length like copper pipe without compressing & damaging it. IIUC, Tintin is suggesting adding a dog (pin) or two on the _vise_ that operates perpendicular to the vise that is built into the workbench proper. A similar functional effect could be had by having a nautiloid cam available for use on a third pin i.e. one not matched, in use, with a pin on the other part (half) of the tabletop itself.
