Sensational setup guys! Congratulations. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see how you managed to put this all together.
Ahhh...I like your set-up for pitch and roll. That simplifies it for me. Roll servo mounted but on a bar and the Pitch servo rotates the whole assembly. Thank you for this!
:)
Sir, you are a Genius!
i want this to be a sport in the future
geez, i have watched this video like 10 times and i cant get over how cool this is, i want to do something just like it!
Thank you!
Wow... that came out great!
awesome job
Dude. .. That is some next level stuff right there .
Hi, Amazing job and has inspired me to do something similar however im struggling to find a posable figure for my 1250 mm me 109, i just wanted to know what size ur mustang is and where you got your pilot? Thanks
It's about 60" wingspan. ebay is your friend, old 80s GI Joe figure. Only use the cloths, filled with cotton.
Nice looking set up!
Really well done, I'm trying to do the similar control on a cabin model Fairchild 24 civilian aircraft. Are you controlling the joystick from the bottom or the arm of the pilot on the elevator and Aileron? Have you done a "build" blog or any details of your RC setup in the cockpit if not it would be a real contribution to modeling.
You have done an amazing job and I am trying to something similar ..thanks
Thanks! I tried to show it in the video, half way through you can see the mechanism, two servos from the bottom moving the stick directly for roll/pitch. Good luck with your build!
Too awesome...
awesome, you are flying the in the rc
This is the coolest thing in the world!
Could you make a video of how you put it all together and the parts you used because i want to get the p51d mustang and put that in there that would be so cool love the videos keep up the good work
You should definitely produce and sell these!
I would buy a setup like that.
I assume the weight of this cockpit probably made this thing tail heavy?
Imagine in a post-apocalyptic future-- Little robots with helmets.
hey, nice vid!
which camera do you use ? Is runcam?
Thanks for the comments!
When can you do a build video? I think there are a few of us that would like to do the same thing but have no idea where to start. I for one would pay for a build video because this is just to complex to even think about starting from scratch. Anyway, I enjoyed this very much. Thanks.
Is there a diy on the setup? Or websites I can goto for diy of this setup?
Freaking awesome!
So dope!
Great job , Is your Video transmitter antenna exposed through the underside ? Top Job 👍
It is actually hidden inside the fuselage, in the radiator scoop :)
Please demo and setup video you must teach us!!
Can you make a longer video of how you made it
more flight footage please aww yea
Now we need to see a dogfight with that
Dude take my money now!
you are f*king god
I want to do this but basically build a mini cockpit robot called "Action Bot" that can universally plug into a cam connector on all my aircraft, he'd have arms with joints and his hands would connect to throttle and stick (just for looks) and it'd obviously sit in the seat and be buckled in but the fun begins when you realize its basically your universal pilot! It'll be able to record, look around (2 servos, waist and neck) and most importantly, take damage! So if your aircraft crashes your pilot may get injured or there's a guy designing a rocket propelled ejection seat, it'd be cool to see people ejecting their pilots out of crashing RC jets and planes lol I got this idea from the same guy cause he's testing his ejection seat with an action figure called "action man", his first test the action man got burnt and it was reminiscent of having your own little test pilot. It'd be fun to see the scars and experience on your own little pilot, and it serves a purpose!
p.s. please build this cause im broke lol
How about now? This is a cool concept
@@mel_163 busier and broker than ever! lmao honestly forgot about this till just now but the idea is still just as exciting to me, if i ever get around to it my pilot will have everything from a lithium ion backup battery inside in the event of an ejection ill lose control of the craft but will keep connection with the pilot, backpack chute triggered 3 seconds after ejection, ant nano will be the head and servo for tilt and servo for pan. i imagine getting these to look like they belong and actually function correctly on the robot will be the toughest part of the build, the more i think about it the more i realize its kind of pointless but come on how cool would it be to have a pilot that can go into any of your planes and provide the fpv feed
Unreal... wow!
Are you in the UK?
In the US
Hello what type of the pan tilt camera?
It's a Mobius camera, it has an extension so the lens is stand alone on the head with a lead to the camera body.
