Love the renovation and I LOVE the vanity! Don’t paint it! The variations in the wood and stain are what make it look antique. I would have never guess that it was a new piece.

The bathroom is absolutely beautiful. I love the vanity - what a great idea to build it from scratch. One thing you need to get is a GFCI outlet next to the sink in case water gets near the outlet.

Tile grout is porous and attracts stains - epoxy tile grout resists stains, mildew, and is not porous.
Epoxy grout is tricky to install but is well worth the extra effort.

Love seeing the before photos of your house, it looks so much nicer, it is all beautiful now.
We use wool and coir mattresses for our children and have a wool mattress for us. We have an IKEA foam mattress in our guest room - I hate sleeping in there as I find it so hot. I also can't bare the smell of a foam mattress, the wool is lovely, dense and no smell at all. I am in the UK and we are lucky to have a good range of natural mattresses available.

You did a lovely job on this bathroom, just like all your other projects. I really don’t like. Easels sinks, but these are so cool! I love vintage bowls anyway, but the nod to Victorian washbowls is pretty smart.

I totally love it ..my house is an old cottage farm house style 1925 in Houston,Tx I have lived in here for like 40 years it was my childhood house and now I have it and we have of course had to update to live able space but I have a good few pieces of from the old lady my mother bought it from she was 98 pollock lady ..
I have her original medicine cabinet that I now use as a can good pantry ..the hallway is my walk in pantry..he antique China cabinet..,and a chair .she had ..but the best thing she had a small breakfast table porcelain top chrome legs and a small drawer ..I still have it in the same place .. 💎 I like this old house I did add in a1/2 bath and added washer/dryer connection in the house

If you are not already doing a design book you need to make one for when you feel you are done the house.
LOVE the vanity! Such a wonderful idea!! Not at all a fan of the mismatched bowls (though both are georgous) or the stain and especially the "beige" paint color 🤢, but LOVE the idea!! Super cute!
Or the mismatch medicine cabinets or mismatched hardware. Just looks cheap, not vintage.

If you took your stain and dry brushed it on, you could get rid of the patchiness. I have used this technique before and it does a great job.
Love the sink! Brilliant! Did your builder write/draw any plans? Inspired idea to order legs and build. Based on your kitchen island we ordered legs and my husband created a custom island for our remodel. It was a bear to get the frame straight, (he added a lower shelf) but turned out great. Thanks for the wonderful ideas!

Wow, I really wonder at the feasibility of Bowl sinks for small kids. The splash Factor alone that is a fact of life when you have a bowl sink is much harder for children to control. I've always found cleaning around the backside of the bowl such a difficult thing because it's such a dust catcher and dirt catcher. They are lovely but I just never have found them to be functional and that's what I think is most important with small kids

How are your kids not breaking your nice things? My kids are so rough on our remodeled house! We constantly remind them to wash hands, be gentle with things, yet things still happen

I love your videos! We have 6 sons and one daughter, all adults now. I admire your calm way of going through life. I know it gets crazy at times! Question on these sinks....Can the little boys reach them and the towels? They look so high and recessed back.
