With that being said, the talaria sting is more my lean as I’m 6’

Both nice bikes but I'm waiting for the Sondor Metacycle. About the same price as the Segway but with an 80 mile range, 80mph top speed and more features.
I wouldn't trust that range # at all. Unless u plan on going reasonably slow for ur entire ride, ur not gonna get 80mi out of that battery pack. It's also designed for road riding. With the sur-ron u can swap the tires out for road riding and it's super customizable. Theres mod versions that can hit 80mph
@@kingkai9818 Of course any EV (or vehicle in general) is not going to get the maximum range at the maximum speed, but I would still definitely prefer the Sondor over the Segway or the Sur Ron for what I would be using it for (not off-road riding). In any case, the Segway and Sur Ron look like fun, very capable bikes in their own right.
Why do you have to cut the green and black wire on the sur ron? What does cutting it do? Good comparison video though. Helped a lot. I’m definitely looking to get one out of the two asap.
Best to get the Surron X (it’s cheaper and pretty much the same bike). Use the extreme bug to buy an uograded battery and control module from litespeed. Pretty much get x300 the power output

Also, the Segway you can get in RED or blue, the Sur-Ron only black now, in the beginning you could get the Sur-Ron in red or blue, NOT ANYMORE.

there is a small difference in power output... the controller should be different from what i understand but... it could vary from the model as well.
What about the possibility of the app becoming obsolete in the future for the Segway??

I'd wire a switch on the cut wire, that way you could go back and forth if needed.
Really don't need to since you have the eco or sport mode switch

It's the exact same bike, the x controler is a bit more powerfull than the non x you have on the segway.
Must be something different in the controllers. Segway has smooth broad power, surron has a peppy type power. Surron getting Bac 8000 installed soon

Why do you need to cut a wire?
Ours had a green wire that needs to be cut to unlock sport mode.
