I agree with this video. It has some good points. I love this ministry. You're awesome. Good points and a great message. St. Augustine of Hippo was a very important man of church history. I wish more people would realize this. I pray that he isn't forgotten, like other Christians want him to be. Of course, the 6 Creation Days were longer than 144 hours long. People tend to forget that the Bible is a book of mostly metaphors and poetry, but it also includes history and science. It's an old book. We need to remember that it has many different interpretations, not just the one. I love it when that is remembered. Science is also a good source of truth. The Bible and science should be held as equal sources of truth within Christendom. I know I hold them as equal sources of truth.
    I'll keep praying.
Great video, keep up the good work. God bless.
    Have a nice day/night.

Hey, I know this is an old comment but I'm so confused on st. Augustine's view of creation. Why do you say the six day creation was longer if he believed it was created instantly?

What did Augustine say vs what did God say he did??? Erm… believe man or God erm… why are you even asking the question? Here’s a question for you why are you calling God a liar?

It sounds like Augustine became a victim of his own fallibility and confusion about the need for certain things to be contingent upon other certain things. (We all tend to do this sometimes.)
Yes, God is powerful and wise enough to create light without stars.
No, shrubs don’t need to be fully grown for God to have created/planted them in all their unique kinds.
Yes, obviously Genesis 2 rewinds back into the creation days since the creation of mankind is recorded in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 details that very same creation…
Please read Scripture plainly and in its context. It speaks plain truth for itself. The earth is as young as Genesis 1 suggests. :)

I've sometimes entertained the alternative idea that the creation days were not eras but also not contiguous days. Ie. Day one is in the beginning, but day 2 might be billions of years later, and day 3 billions later than that. It's an intriguing and unconventional model, but the downside is that too much happen in the Genesis days to squeeze into actual 24 hour days. Maybe we could get around that with relativistic effects for the early universe, though. It's not as clean as the Hugh Ross model, but still fun to look at.
