Romantic angst and tension that's drawn out but is a subplot in a well built fantasy world? I'm listening. 😂 I also love how you talk about underrated books. It's nice to hear about books that aren't hyped up all over social media.
Regan's recommendations never disappoint ✨ She always describes books so well!
I read both The will of the many and the book that wouldn’t burn this month and they are two of the best books I’ve EVER read. Cannot recommend enoughhhh!
regan you should make a cosmere guide! like explaining the different sub series, where you recommend starting, etc.
We appreciate your dedication and hard work. You'll always have our support.
I feel there were some great new fantasy books last year, im looking forward to all the sequels, Emily Wildes Encyclopaedia of Faries and Godkiller were two that I enjoyed
I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for this video--so happy it's finally here!
All the books you recommend are amazing, can’t wait to read them! ❤
The Book That Wouldn't Burn was definitely a standout for me as well! Cannot wait for the sequel!
same!
Sword Catcher was so good! Glad you enjoyed it!
I read Adventures of Amina Al Sirafi on your recommendation and it was amazing! Love the crew and her as the main character!
I would love it if you did a series where, in each video, you recommend books in a particular fantasy subgenre. For example, I love adventurous fantasy such as amina al sirafi and stardust thief and would love to get more recs for that type of fantasy. I'm new to the genre so this would be super helpful for me!! 😊
Thanks for recommending The Will of the Many, it was so wholesome ❤
On the side note, M.L. Wang, the author of The Sword of Kaigen, came out with a new book last year and I heard NOTHING about it, probably because it’s self-published. If the previous book is any indication, it’s most definitely phenomenal.
Just finished Sword Catcher a couple days ago. The reviews were so mixed on it so I wasn’t sure if it was going to work for me. However I felt like you! I loved it. It was slower paced and yet I couldn’t stop reading. It’s going to be a loooong wait for the next book.
Book that Wouldn’t Burn was one of my favorites last year too. I’ve already got the sequel preordered.
I wanna check out all of these books! Love your recommendations!
This is pretty much a list of the audiobooks I have ready go. Great video!
The will of the many was my favorite book I read last year, also really enjoyed the book that wouldn’t burn. Super excited for the sequels!
OMG! The last tale of the flower bride to it is absolutely so beautiful and hope the author writes more sequels to this story 📚📚🩵🩵🩵📖🎉📚🩵🩵📚🎉🎉📙📖📚🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵📚🎉📖📖📙📙📖🎉📚🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🎉📖📙📙📙📙📖🎉📚🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵📚🎉🎉📖📖📖📖🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
Godkiller and Divine Rivals stole my heart last year. Love those books so much. Tyranny of Faith was crazy good too, and yes I agree even better than the 1st book in the series! I also read The Finale Empire which really lived up to all the hype. Great year for fantasy!
I second Godkiller, what a great debut for the author!
Empire of Exiles is so good! I can’t wait for the next one in the series. Fantasy murder mystery may be my new favorite thing.
I just bought the Sword Catcher. I can't wait to read it.
I'm really excited for Relics of Ruin and to see where that series goes!
Love it nice video n awesome outfit love sweater ❤
The Will of the Many was one of the best books I have ever read. Unreal!
I would love to see what you think about Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I regularly watch your channel and end up loving all your book recs. I think you would really like Outlander. I would say it is my favorite book and the one I most wish I could read again for the first time. It’s also the only book I have read more than once! ❤
Amina was a fun one! Looking forward to book #2 that is supposed to come out this year. Hopefully BOTM has this one too so it can match my first one!
The will of the many is now on my TBR 🔥🙂
Thanks for this, wasted money on the POS Fourth Wing because for some reason it was at the front of the store and I heard everyone talking about it
I'm going to be reading The Empire of the Wolf series this year - The Justice of Kings is on its way to me right now. 😊
Great video! What are the books on your shelf with the blue, red, green, and yellow spines?
Song of Silver, Flame like Night by Amelie Wen Zhao was my favourite fantasy and just overall book i read in 2023! so so so good but sadly rarely hear anyone talk about it, centred in chinese mythology with a magic system that is based on Qi, and deep exploration of colonialism within this magic world it, yearning romance AND absolutely beautiful writing. The sequel just came out!! i’m waiting for my bookstore to get it in 😍😍
I’ve read these all!!!❤🎉
I am glad to see Roshani Chokshi here! 🥰
Aru Shah And The City Of Gold which is the 4th book in the Pandava/Aru Shah series is a new favorite fantasy book that I read in 2023. Moymoy Lulumboy Ang Paghahanap Kay Inay by Segundo Matias Jr. which is the 3rd book in the Moymoy Lulumboy series is another 2023 favorite of mine too! 🤎
Love ur hair! So cute and perfect you remind me of a book character Ariel and so beautiful as she is Regan 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉📖📚🩵🩵📖📙📖🩵🩵🩵🩵📚📖📙🎉🎉📙📖📚🩵🩵📚📖📙📖📚🩵🩵🩵📚📚📙🎉🎉🎉🎉📖📚🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

Ohhhh I need this book asap 😂🥰 📚📖
I hope I can get these books soon. I’m on a budget. I have very little money so I’m hoping maybe I can buy them when they’re time
I just read The Will of the Many a few days ago and it was so interesting! It ended on the worst cliffhanger though, so I’m excited for the sequel to come out!
Oh, same!
Same , It was addictive book for sure.
OK, so my plans for today have changed. I guess we’re going to the bookstore!
you look like young Shelly Duvall in this video in the best way 😊
Monopoly go more like be irrationally angry on the go 😂
ahahahhahahah
Somebody convince me to read Sword catcher please
I read approx 50% of this book and I ended up shipping Lin with Kel and I don't see them ending up together!!!!! 😭
This is my thing if I ship two characters and they don't end up together I can't make myself to love like " other" love interest.
Please someone convince me
Ok..if anybody is facing this just continue reading you will be satisfied
Please read Red Sister by Mark Lawrence!!!:)
Fyi Islington is pronounced Izzlington, like the area of London x
Are these standalones or first in the series.
Edit: nvm, it's already mentioned in the vid
📚❤️
Tress and The Adventures of Amina were not for me.
why are all booktubers hiding their books in the thumbnails now? it helps me to know if we have similar taste but you all are making it some weird surprise lol
It’s more fun if the content of the video isn’t spoiled before you’ve even clicked on it tbh
if im watching a movie yes but for book reviews? @@UnearthMe
I need to pick up Sword Catcher 🥹
Yes! Do it lol! This was one of my favorite books of 2023!
