I hate cardio too, and I have a knee condition where they can't do exercises where the knee is perpendicular for very many reps, and any high impact sends shooting pains. Lemure1987 I hope you’ve beaten the plateau already but if not, change up your routine a little, add some vitamins, try a different style of workouts like if you do mostly HIIT try Pilates or yoga if you do muscle building then I’d say it’s probably because your muscle mass is increased so much or if you don’t weights try them or resistance bands

I do 2-3 full body workout per week, with one abs workout, and one arm workout, then one leg day. Just so I can maximize training efficiently without too many rest days. When you do full body you gotta rest if your gonna do it again.
something to consider, if you do only 3 days, each day focusing on only abs, arms or legs, it means you're working them once a week. Compared to 3 full body workouts, where you're working everything 3 times a week. With the latter, you're obviously not likely to work as hard (limited time). Another thing to note is that in general, the most efficient way to maximise exercise for fitness (meant for ave joe, not athletes) is to have 24 to 48 hours of rest between workouts.
start with stabilisation and strengthening exercises. An Exercise Physiologist or good personal trainer should be able to teach you some of these, and check with your doctor so that you know exactly what's wrong with the joints and if there are certain "no go" movements. Use braces or guards if they help and generally avoid impact moves or anything that places sudden stress on the joints, e.g. jumping. It would also help to know why your joints are behaving the way they are. It could be genetic, injury, disease, or overweight. If it's the last one, then consider weight loss strategies as well such as eating a clean and well portioned diet, and generally increase your physical activity levels. Swimming/water based activities reduces stress on the joints and might be a good option to try.

I did a lot of HIIT and TABATA, so I lost a lot of weight. But at young age of 44 I am self conscious about my flabby skin. I don't go the gym but follow RUclipsrs like you and others. I have some free weights and a band. I am at my wits end. Anybody has ideas. I am open to trying anything.
