The 30” Impulse cooktop is interesting. It doesn’t need a 220v. If you just want to test out induction, go get a portable one, like Breville Control Freak or a newer one like Vision Infinity Cooktop.
The SKS feature that shows the percentage of ferrous metal seems like something you would use once for each pan. Wouldn't you want to know this before buying cookware?
Miele also has a new "freedom" type induction line coming to America soon (already released overseas). I'm desperately hoping that it arrives here soon.
What is your take on the ease of use of the touchscreen controls on any of these models versus a traditional dial, such as the magnetically attached dial control on the Gaggenau 200 (eg model CI 292602. Setting aside the flexible zones etc of the higher end models - what is better for day to day use? I'm having trouble finding any good comparative reviews. Thanks.
There’s no doubt that induction cooking will become more and more prominent as the years go by.
