I have no interest in WiFi connectivity for my appliances. I am an engineer in technology so I am an early adopter of tech gadgets. But I want my appliances to last for 10+ years and the tech gadgets only last a few years before they are out of date.
Hello Yale, I just want to thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. You don’t have to do that, and I understand, as you’ve made perfectly clear, your opinion is based on your service and selling experience. Sadly, I live in a state where I can’t tune a “Yale”. Your videos have helped me immensely with my upcoming remodel. My hope is that these videos attract lots of local and loyal customers.
A comment as a tech. The data on the LG's has been pretty accurate from my experience. It's a shame they had so many issues with their linear compressors a few years ago, because before then their fridges were known as the most reliable in parts of the service industry who would order in bulk. Their parts supply chain is decent in the US, never had any issue ordering a part and if it's discontinued, I've had luck in using the updated ones. However, the parts are also slightly more expensive than Whirlpool. Whirlpool, they have the most accessible parts locally, can usually find a place near you to source (but only for entry models and ones built on them) and probably the cheapest in terms of price. Their designs aren't bad, but the actual manufacturing of the parts is more likely to be the issue these days. Bosch, I've generally found their parts are usually all available to order, which is great, but also cost a premium.
There seems to be a big disconnect between what appliance dealers are recommending and what appliances technicals are recommending.. Many of the brands you just recommended have reliability and replacement part availability issues, some of the manufactures have even switched to cheaper and lessor quality parts so that when your appliance fails, you have to get a new one instead of repairing it. . Thanks for the information you provide.
There really isnt a disconnect. I understand why service techs hate Samsung. They don't pay well f or warranty rates or at one time didn't. Plus this is a very staid industry. People are fearful of new stuff and aren't adequately trained to rectify issues. I love heat pump dryers, but shudder at the thoughts of what repair might look like across the country. That said, none of this has to do with us. We report the numbers dispassionately. We want to sell reliable brands because it costs real money to fix in warranty. Thats why none of the boxes and most of the major brands don't fix anything. Appliance stores carry and even market themselves as selling 150 brands. We carry 20. Half of the 150 really shouldn't be sold. So read and keep yourself informed....But ask this question Do any of these channels really fix anything in warranty? If not be extremely careful of that advice
I bought all new appliances for my house. Can I get a quick S-C rating? I watched alot of your videos, to decide my choices, and what was in my price range. Oven: monogram D/F 6 burner ( ZDP366NTSS) Microwave: Frigidaire Pro. (PMBD3080AF) Fridge: Frigidaire Pro. (PRMC2285AF) Dishwasher: bosch (SHP78CM5N) Washer: LG washtower (WKHC202HBA) Hoodfan: monogram 36" (UVC9360SLSS) Thanks so much! Keep up the great videos! Very informative! Watching from canada!
Back in your 2021 video, you ranked Beko appliances highly. Where would you rank them now? Thanks for the videos. Your expertise and opinions are appreciated!
Are JennAir still selling? We are moving into a 20 year old house that has this brand stove, cook top, and we are needing to buy all new appliances, so I appreciate your help! What appliances do each of you have on your homes personally?
Where is Thermador in the brand review? They may be owned by Bosch but are better made and have beeter materials. Also absent conspicuously is Wolf/ SubZero whom I would love to see ranked (poorly from my experiences lol)
Great video, always. But can you comment on the reliability of Samsung & LG except for the highly-rated washer and dryer? There is an appreciable amount of negative reviews online. Thank you.
In my lifetime, I've had only ONE appliance catch fire. It was a Samsung refrigerator. There'll be no more Samsung in my house after that terrifying experience.
I think we know. We logged over 100,000 service calls in less than three years. BTW, we only sell their laundry, but their appliances are decent. Their service: Non existent
samsung pays the least for warranty work so of course repair shops dont want those jobs. and for the shops that say they get the most calls for samsung they are the most sold appliance in the us that tends to also mean that they have the most repairs you have to compare the amount of repair calls to volume sold to actually know the reliability
I know you’re an American company but it’s good to make a disclaimer in the beginning that these reviews are for the American market because in the European market things are quite different
I’m pretty sure most people are able to figure that out.. Nothing about the Yale staff would make you think they’re in or from Europe. Not to mention the hosts of brands they review that aren’t sold in Europe.
Samsung is terrible… out of the box junk and constant breakdown what is reliable??? Sturdy?? Good quality materials? Smooth oven racks? Excellent flame control? i don’t care about looks! n
What??? How much are you all getting paid? Bertazzoni makes some of the best stoves out there. "Regret" cooking on it? Flipping a house I'd rather see a Bertazzoni in the house than a CHINESE LG, SAMSUNG or Kitchen Aid. You guys are crazy. Spend some time in Italy. I lived in Europe for 20 years. smh LOL
OK...we service what we sell and have experience with all these brands to the tune of over 100,000 calls in less than three years. LG, Samsung, and KitchenAid are not Chinese BTW
@@YaleAppliance1 yeah, you're being paid to make Samsung and LG seem better than they are. The way you just made Samsung seem like it's the best thing ever is obviously biased. We have companies over here in Sarasota Florida that won't even carry Samsung and LG (Mullet's Appliances is one example) because the repair problems are so great. Had a guy from another company in Naples tell me they are about to drop Samsung and LG from their lineup because they can't keep up with repair calls and it's overwhelming their man power. Seems like the only major companies carrying them here in South West Florida are Costco, Lowe's and Home Depot. That says a lot.
@@YaleAppliance1...o' and regarding the Bertazzoni stoves, absolutely ridiculous review. Bertazzoni makes some of he best stoves out there, although Italian. Right up there with Wolf. So, I'll place a large bet that the majority, large majority, of people using these stoves would not "regret" cooking on them. Albeit, those that can actually afford them because they're not cheap.
I despise Samsung for their go to market strategy...But I am not going to tell you they have issues when they don't. Except for repair which is deplorable, but the product is generally good.....This is bad for me, BTW since I don't sell it anymore

What refrigerator would you say has the least need for repairs and you would consider buying for yourself?
I love my Bertazzoni induction cooktop . Don’t miss the gas stove . Great performance

A, B-, B-, S, S, B-....The Frigidaire is inexpensive, but you are forever locked into that spec...otherwise well done.
@@YaleAppliance1 what do you mean by "forever locked into that spec"? Thanks for the rating!
Its 32 inches width...everything else is either 33 or most commonly 36 inches
@@YaleAppliance1 the frigidaire pro fridge (PRMC2285AF) is 36" wide.

Great information. Thanks
Forno has been excellent on parts availability, nothing like Bosch but still pretty good.
Thoughts on Frigidaire Profressional Twins combo? A review of it would be awesome! Thank you for the great content!
My friend has them...Interesting, inexpensive....but the dimensions are unique, so you will be locked into them forever
Electrolux products are really good.
Agreed! I have the washer/dryer and the dishwasher. Fantastic !

@@YaleAppliance1 Thanks!

It affordable luxury.....Thats luxury. We have a separate video for that
What appliances would you recommend that are good quality, long lasting, not all the problems with cheap parts? Thanks
Great channel. Please consider covering Bluestar.
We have some coming up
For affordable luxury do people usually mix and match with other brands or buy a package from one brand ?
Most buy the package from one to coordinate style and maximize rebates
What about Hallman stoves.
Great video, always.
But can you comment on the reliability of Samsung & LG except for the highly-rated washer and dryer?

LG is the most reliable at 2.1% in the first year......by far the most reliable
@@YaleAppliance1 thank you.

Zline....good story. We don't sell the brand
Samsung is the one every repair company says to avoid.

I really wanted the Samsung dual stove to be good. ☹️
Does anyone know why Yale Appliance doesn't sell Capital Culinarian ranges?
I have an idea....Capital and BlueStar are similar. BlueStar is our choice.
