The Dark Side ending always didn't give me a good feeling, just seeing what Palps made him and the screams just always creep me out and don't sit right with me. They are pretty disturbing tbh.
What I loved in this ending is that in both light and dark he goes against the emperor and wants to save the rebels. But in the light he has yoda's power to stop lightning, giving him an actual chance.
The novel has an interesting description of this scene, but I always imagine he just used all of his emotion to protect his friends, matching the rage of the emperor.

You should check out the PS2 version of the cutscene. Less cringy, makes more sense(Still with the ship-chucking, but both Star and Bail are alive and try to run, rather than Bail being dead already for no good reason).

To be fair, he purposely killed himself to cause enough distraction for them to get away, regardless if he could have survived. He directed the lighting into a force explosion on purpose.

I like the Force unleashed because when Galen rages and screams, it seams real, he does not seem to do a fake battle scream like many other things in star wars do, for example when he is locked in a lightning battle with sidious that scream conveyed his anger and his power.

This was the last Star Wars game that was made by Lucasarts that had an incredible campaign and story! I always get goosebumps for the good ending his screaming is phenomenal when he's versing the emperor. I will never understand why they didn't make this into a TV Show or movie. I don't even count The Force Unleashed 2 to actually be in the story. I believe that he died and thats the end. This ending was an amazing sacrifice proving that even the most evil sith can turn to the light side for a better cause!

The one you play is the real Starkiller, while the other one who kills him in the Dark side ending or follows them with Boba Fett in the Light side ending is the clone. I assume when at some point it was planned to be a trilogy and Starkiller and evil clone ending up killing eachother in the final episode, just to be canon and no Starkiller around Luke's playtime.

Jacob Snyder I'm kinda glad it isn't as it had alot of weird elements that didnt feel right in the universe. The Marek Clones Thing in TFU2. Kota sparing Plapatine so he could ultimately kill Marek and many more others. Why the FUCK does Bail look the same as in EP3? he's supposed to have aged by nearly 18 years!!! Also Kota still alive after TFU2 - they would have to kill him before EPIV and create a good reason for Leia or ANYONE else to not mention him towards Luce later on. I think the story was an overall good one, just not that fitting within the whole SW universe.

The Starkiller in it is a clone, which Vader created by harvesting the necessary materials from the original’s corpse, which was obviously accessible to him after he died on the Death Star. Starkiller does indeed die to create the Rebel Alliance as seen here. The two are not mutually exclusive

Hasan Tasdemir Revan and Galen are the two (maybe with Darth Maul) most overrated characters in the Star Wars Universe. There are so many Jedi/Sith who are stronger. I don't know why so many people think, that they are one of the strongest force users..
+User0155 Well compared to if he hadn't incurred grievous injuries on Mustafar then he probably would've easily killed Palps and become the new emperor. Palps built the suit to intentionally cripple Anakin so he would be strong but not strong enough to dethrone him though as I recall he did express SOME regret over the fact he would never be killed by his own apprentice as per Sith tradition.
This was a fun game to play. My boys loved it, my nephew and my friends. We all thought it felt , Star Warsey. BUT. Being soooo powerful and beating Vader and then the Emperor,, well sort of on the emperor, he was just. Nah,, failed on that. I know, really popular game and a lot of Ohh im a Star Wars fan and this was great and genius blah blah. Well, I don't think it was and most Star Wars fans that I know didn't like that part of this at all. I think the fun playability blinded a lot of fans and a lot of players aren't the die hard Star Wars fans. I played on Old Republic and though most liked the game, like I did. Most thought the kid was way overpowered.
So are a multitude of characters in the Expanded Universe. Darth Plagus can resurrect the dead, Darth Bane is immune to pain... there's a lot in the Star Wars Universe that is simply overpowered. Basically, we can say the force is the most overpowered thing in the Star Wars universe as it can grant a multitude of ridiculously strong powers.

The Dark ending is my favorite video game ending only because of how bland Palpatine is with Starkiller, and how he's worth nothing in the picture even with all the work he put in. Calling him a waste of potential. In the end, that horrific scream just kind of ties it in a sad little bow.

I liked both this game and its sequel. Minus the final boss battle, which I felt was incredibly underwhelming. Though one thing I did like about the second one that this one didn't have (Though the PS2 version did, surprisingly enough) was that whatever skin you chose for Starkiller was reflected in the cutscenes.
In the Wii and PS2 version of the Bad Ending: -In the beginning of the bad ending cutscene, it starts with Starkiller killing Darth Vader, and also has Rahm Kota (while being electrocuted) saying, "No!", in an effort to convince Starkiller not strike him down in anger. -In the Wii/PS2 version, Palpatine says that "Lord Vader was a hollow shadow of a Sith", rather than "Lord Vader was broken shadow of his former self". -Palpatine does not shoot Force Lightning at Starkiller. Palpatine instead Force pushes Starkiller away when he locks sabers with him. -Palpatine waits to say, "And now, you've doomed yourself, and your friends!" until he's bringing the Rogue Shadow down. -Instead of being devastated when he sees Bail apparently dead, Starkiller unsuccessfully attempts to flee with Rahm Kota as Palpatine brings down the Rogue Shadow. -In the Wii and PS2 version, we see the Rogue Shadow explode as Palpatine brings it down, as well as viewing the explosion from space. -The Rebel leaders die when the Rogue Shadow is brought down and explodes, killing everybody except for Palpatine and Starkiller. -As Starkiller wakes up in the operation room, a droid says a line exclusive to the Wii and PS2 version, "Initiating adrenal surge now". -After Palpatine says, "Finish him" (As in to finish the surgery on Starkiller), the last scenes are not in first person of the medical droids poking needles into him. Instead, the last shot is a closeup on Dark Starkiller's helmeted face as a 2-1B surgical droid prepares to perform the surgery.
To think that what Sidious did to Galen in the dark side ending when he just straight up blasted him with lightning and threw a ship at him is what he could have done in the light side ending. Sidious held back a lot

I like the Force unleashed because when Galen rages and screams, it seams real, he does not seem to do a fake battle scream like many other things in star wars do, for example when he is locked in a lightning battle with sidious that scream conveyed his anger and his power.

This was the last Star Wars game that was made by Lucasarts that had an incredible campaign and story! I always get goosebumps for the good ending his screaming is phenomenal when he's versing the emperor. I will never understand why they didn't make this into a TV Show or movie. I don't even count The Force Unleashed 2 to actually be in the story. I believe that he died and thats the end. This ending was an amazing sacrifice proving that even the most evil sith can turn to the light side for a better cause!

Actually if you watch the "Distant Thunder" cinematics, and the dark side ending it's more on the contrary. The one you play is the real Starkiller, while the other one who kills him in the Dark side ending or follows them with Boba Fett in the Light side ending is the clone. I assume when at some point it was planned to be a trilogy and Starkiller and evil clone ending up killing eachother in the final episode, just to be canon and no Starkiller around Luke's playtime.
Light side Starkiller: "Bruh, Rebels stole my arc. I shall never be canon!"
Dark side Starkiller: "So the Emperor lives and requires a new apprentice... Hey, Ahsoka, I heard you fought Vader and now you're looking for a nemesis..."

Jacob Snyder I'm kinda glad it isn't as it had alot of weird elements that didnt feel right in the universe. The Marek Clones Thing in TFU2. Kota sparing Plapatine so he could ultimately kill Marek and many more others. Why the FUCK does Bail look the same as in EP3? he's supposed to have aged by nearly 18 years!!! Also Kota still alive after TFU2 - they would have to kill him before EPIV and create a good reason for Leia or ANYONE else to not mention him towards Luce later on. I think the story was an overall good one, just not that fitting within the whole SW universe.

The Starkiller in it is a clone, which Vader created by harvesting the necessary materials from the original’s corpse, which was obviously accessible to him after he died on the Death Star. Starkiller does indeed die to create the Rebel Alliance as seen here. The two are not mutually exclusive

Palps built the suit to intentionally cripple Anakin so he would be strong but not strong enough to dethrone him though as I recall he did express SOME regret over the fact he would never be killed by his own apprentice as per Sith tradition.

This was a fun game to play. My boys loved it, my nephew and my friends. We all thought it felt , Star Warsey. BUT. Being soooo powerful and beating Vader and then the Emperor,, well sort of on the emperor, he was just. Nah,, failed on that. I know, really popular game and a lot of Ohh im a Star Wars fan and this was great and genius blah blah. Well, I don't think it was and most Star Wars fans that I know didn't like that part of this at all. I think the fun playability blinded a lot of fans and a lot of players aren't the die hard Star Wars fans. I played on Old Republic and though most liked the game, like I did. Most thought the kid was way overpowered.

Darth Plagus can resurrect the dead, Darth Bane is immune to pain... there's a lot in the Star Wars Universe that is simply overpowered. Basically, we can say the force is the most overpowered thing in the Star Wars universe as it can grant a multitude of ridiculously strong powers.

The Dark ending is my favorite video game ending only because of how bland Palpatine is with Starkiller, and how he's worth nothing in the picture even with all the work he put in. Calling him a waste of potential. In the end, that horrific scream just kind of ties it in a sad little bow.

I liked both this game and its sequel. Minus the final boss battle, which I felt was incredibly underwhelming. Though one thing I did like about the second one that this one didn't have (Though the PS2 version did, surprisingly enough) was that whatever skin you chose for Starkiller was reflected in the cutscenes.

-In the beginning of the bad ending cutscene, it starts with Starkiller killing Darth Vader, and also has Rahm Kota (while being electrocuted) saying, "No!", in an effort to convince Starkiller not strike him down in anger.
-In the Wii/PS2 version, Palpatine says that "Lord Vader was a hollow shadow of a Sith", rather than "Lord Vader was broken shadow of his former self".
-Palpatine does not shoot Force Lightning at Starkiller. Palpatine instead Force pushes Starkiller away when he locks sabers with him.
-Palpatine waits to say, "And now, you've doomed yourself, and your friends!" until he's bringing the Rogue Shadow down.
-Instead of being devastated when he sees Bail apparently dead, Starkiller unsuccessfully attempts to flee with Rahm Kota as Palpatine brings down the Rogue Shadow.
-In the Wii and PS2 version, we see the Rogue Shadow explode as Palpatine brings it down, as well as viewing the explosion from space.
-The Rebel leaders die when the Rogue Shadow is brought down and explodes, killing everybody except for Palpatine and Starkiller.
