It's like an infinite loop. Asking for layers and getting your hair cut too short then waiting it to grow out until you realize it isn't layered properly so you go again and repeat the same thing.

A hairstylist did this cut for me before pandemic. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for his name and how he did it. This layered bangs looks good on my wavy short/medium hair while wearing it down, but since I'm not a haircut expert and couldn't explain it, all I did was to ask for a shaggy bangs and show pictures. And most of hairstylists used blending shears to kinda layer my bangs. It made my top hair thicker, too much volume. Now, I wonder if they were just being lazy to layer every section of my bangs or didn't know how cut it.
I can't wait for my hair to grow out to ask for this 🤧

I have the opposite problem. My hair always wants to flip and I hate it. I want it perfectly straight but my hair (at the very front) tends to get wavy or wants to flip.

Then I decided to cut it shorter because of this flip issue (it looked okay but I thought it just isn't my style because of my hair texture). Now I have a fringe hairstyle (current length: about 3 inch) and I'm trying to grow my hair longer so I could give it a second try.
5 to 5½ inch: 13-14 cm
3 inch: 7-8 cm

@@Dabitard ohh. Well if ur gunna try to grow it out to like 4-6 inches. First just keep cutting the sides only. BUt then ur gunna start to have to thin or lyer the top so it doesnt get super thick

I'M African American I have tried everything to add moisture to my dry hair. eggs 🥚 mayonnaise honey 🍯 . I've been using Io' real shampoo and conditioner for some time but the shampoo is making it more dry than ever. also I'm in my 60s and have a lot of gray in the front of my head than the back. I been wearing my hair natural for a year it's long and curly .which is better permanent hair dye or Semi hair dye for damage hair 🤔. I've been using permanent hair dye because of my gray hair..
