I'm a complete noob to the game, not even killed the first "boss" in the Burial Hill caves. Level 8 just running around killing mobs and reading up the game mechanics etc. Don't even know what totems are but this video and the accompanying graphics and research are really well done, I look forward to revisiting this when it's relevant to me, you're obviously an asset to the GD community.
The realest MVP. I'm off to go farm dynamite troves, because i've been running the shitty bastion of chaos over and over trying to get the savage relic recipe from the vendor.

Did you happen to track the time spent? I'm curious about what is best per hour of time spent. As a new player these videos have been quite nice. Thanks.
Its always going to depend on build. I used a speed build that takes about 10 minutes per route. It could take a slower build as much as 15+ minutes I'd presume.
Depends on what you need. Eldritch essence, absolutely. But like Ugdenbloom or Aether Crystals absolutely not. Most mats are better farmed in specific areas.

Question about legendaries- all of them drop randomly?
Im looking for aethereach (gloves) for some time now and i cant seem to find it...
Most are indeed random. Some have specific drops. I think aether reach are random.

Yahh I got a nice ugdens run that nets me an average of 5 ugdens in a few minutes
