At the current time I’m trying to figure out what type ornament I want to make for my grand kiddos a couple of years ago you in inspired me to make sleds which I did and had so much fun making them!! Yes I need to know your system. It helps me to figure out what I can try. I thought of the wheel idea but maybe making several different ones. I like to stitch in the season so making 4 wheels for summer winter, spring and fall and pit them in accordingly then maybe a few other wheels for new starts, samplers, sals with all those wips etc. that way let’s say maybe for fall I’ll choose the fall wheel. Then if I feel like working on all the sals I started the last 3 years I can go to that wheel. Make sense? I really need to be better about getting through some of my wips and kits. Hi Nancy! So good to see you back & my goodness your stitching is so inspiring. I’m not very good at changing floss colors, but you are amazing at it and maybe I could learn from you. Many of the things you’ve stitched or are stitching I have already stitched, and was not really happy with the floss colors that was called for, so I need to do what you do and change them. I use 18 count a lot or 36 count and I don’t like sulky thread on that but I do on 32 count. All of your pieces are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing all of them with us so we can go forward with you from here. 💞

Hi Nancy, glad you are back. I have two questions, how do you choose your project for your rotation? And how often do you meet with stitchy friends? I am currently working on Jingle all the way by Amy Bruecken Designs.
Thank you for watching. For seasonal I usually work on patriotic in June and July, fall stitching is Sept and Oct, Christmas stitching is Nov Dec. As for the rest of the year I just pick four or five projects each month and rotate through them. Sometimes I will know I have a few things close to a finish so I will pick those or if I have a big project that I know I want to give time I'll pick that. As for meeting with stitching friends I have one friend we try to meet once a month for lunch and stitching. I have another group we try to meet up every couple of months.
