Love your cookie sheet idea. I’m heading to JoAnn for felt to line the sheets I once used on my lap like legless TV trays. I’m really enjoying your sharing. Glad you’re back with us.
I'm so glad that you are doing videos again. I went back and watched your recent wip parade too and very much enjoyed seeing all of your beautiful projects. I love that you stitch on Aida and love your floss color choices and fabrics. Thank you so much for sharing all that you do.
Thanks for sharing so many of your wonderful projects. Your stitching is beautiful and so inspiring by what you get finished even when a portion of your time you are spending with your grand babies. Love Olga’s Autumn Stocking, it gorgeous! Your 2 fall quilting projects are beautiful, I’ve bought small kits from Timeless Traditions, they are fun to make with such nice fabrics. I’m working on Hocuspocusville by Crabapple Hill, I’d love to make the snowman quilt you are working on. Two years ago I made ‘Over The River’. Stitching with one color floss goes fast. Take care! I look forward to seeing your next video! 🌻
Hi Nancy! Great to see another video. I love all your finishes and enjoy seeing your WIPS. I also love to see how you change colors etc.. to your liking. I am gong to start the Autumn at HRH as soon as my fabric comes next week. Your quilts are amazing. As we had discussed before, I would love to quilt just not enough room or time because I want to stitch!! I have a few small wool applique kits, but that will be the extent of that. Looking forward to the next video!! Happy stitching!!🪡 Lisa
Your projects look amazing. You are so good at changing to fit your needs and finishing too. I have tried to stay away from embroidery but I think I’m going to have to buy one of those panels now 😁. As for wool, I’m with you. I did a wall hanging with a wool center and I thought I was going to just love doing it but I didn’t ~ maybe a good thing since I have quilting and stitching and knitting already. Thanks for sharing ❤
Still in love with your HRH….love that you make the changes to suit yourself. I have had the urge to do more Thanksgiving patterns. You’ve inspired me to get serious. Ha…let’s see if I actually start something new! I have great plans for new starts in 2025. I think the wool kits will sell. Like you…I have visions but don’t like the handwork. I would always rather cross stitch. I finally did a couple small pieces on my sewing machine. My Pfaff has a very nice blanket stitch. I also have a Crabapple Hill in the works. I really should pull it out and give consideration to actually working on it. Again, I’d rather cross stitch. Look forward to your next video. Pam
Thank you. My HRH piece is my absolute favorite to stitch on I think. It's been so much fun making all the changes. Ya wool is just not my thing, I would rather be cross stitching. I'm starting to get all the feelings of starting something or many things new! A Mira and Madame La Fee are in my future for sure this year
Another great video, love all stitching and quilting. You have a really good sense of what looks good. I hope you get a good response to the kits. Colors, fabrics and patterns, all are so well chosen. Thank you and God bless.
Congrats 🎉 on all your ffo’s and finishes they look amazing 🤩. Love all your embroidery projects on blue and red. Have a wonderful evening and happy stitching 😊🪡🧵🤗🤩
I enjoyed your stitching update today while getting a little stirching done. Love what you did on your Christmas at hawk run hollow. Take care and happy stitching.
Oh my, another inspiring video! I couldn’t pick which cross stitch finish I liked best, and that pumpkin quilt!!!😍😍😍 You are talented! I did order the embroidery quilt by Spoonflower because of your video! Now, I’m off to check out her Halloween and Christmas! Thank you for inspiring us all!!
Hi Nancy, I am so happy you decided to make flosstube videos again. I enjoy seeing all your stitching and quilting. You are very talented with your color changes and using what you have. Everything is just so gorgeous! Happy Fall Stitching! 🤎🧡🤎🧡
I love your pumpkin quilt!! I have the red work snowman quilt and have done one panel as a wall hanging. Maybe I’ll pull that pattern back out! I want to do the Olga stocking!
Nancy, its so nice to see all of you hand work. Everything is so neat, pretty, and so well done. It's relaxing to watch each of your visits, thank you so much
Nancy it’s fun to see all your projects. I’m loving this fall season because it means I can think about sewing more. I tend to do more sewing in the fall. I love buttermilk basin and want to do more of their patterns. I haven’t done any yet but just started collecting their books. The quilt kits you have are definitely an interest! ❤ would love to try one and fall is definitely my favorite season.
Im enjoying your videos! Your stitching and quilting are beautiful! I especially loved your Thomas and your pumpkin table runner. I'm working on Where the Bittersweet Blooms by Brenda Gervais and was excited to see your finishing ideas! Happy fall and happy stitching!
I do plenty of different crafts myself and I do have plenty of embroidery designs. Jenny Doan on Missouri Star Quilt Co. years ago had made a quilt block of embroidery blocks. Thinking of making it. I’m very new to embroidery so it may take me longer then most but I will give it my best shot. Thank you for your video.
Hi Nancy :-)) so glad to see you again!! I have always loved embroidery…actually hand work of any kind…. I really enjoyed seeing your finishes your WIPs and quilts so much inspiration!! See you in November:-))
Enjoyed seeing all your stitching! I almost went and purchased one of the embroidery panels, but I said to myself oh no you don't need to start another hobby, lol.
I did Winter Wonderland a couple years ago in blue. So fun! In my new house I even have a wall I can hang it on! Yeah! I did her witch one as well. It’s been packed for a long time waiting for my move. Now I get to see it again! You do such amazing work! I’m so happy to be watching you again. Thank you for coming back.
Was so happy to see you had another video! I think the one quilt that you’re showing that you didn’t remember the name is Hocus Pocus from The Pattern Basket. I bought the kit and it is still sitting here waiting to be made. Lol.
Always enjoy your videos and seeing all your projects. I think the snowman stocking pattern is called Wintertide Friends by plum street. They have it at 1,2,3 stitch. Hope that is the one you are looking for. 😊
Hi Nancy! I love all your projects. I'm a quilter and stitcher too. I made the same pumpkin quilt but I used black for the background. Love yours too! The ribbons you use on your cross stitch finishes are so ruffly. Is it a certain brand? Thanks so much for sharing all you do! Becky
Thank you. I bet the pumpkin quilt with the dark background is gorgeous. I'm not quite sure what ribbons you are talking about other than the binding ribbon. You can buy it on Amazon
OMG!!! I’ve gone back and am watching your old videos because I didn’t know you had a channel before Sew and Sews. Anyhow, in video 3 you were showing Winter Blooms and I thought…where the heck is my Harvest Blooms? Then you showed the pattern and said you’d seen me stitch it! But, where the heck did I lose it???? Now I have to tear my house apart! Crazy! That’s going to bug me. I can only guess it got put away with a different season because I missed it while switching over from fall to Christmas. BTW…I’m anxious to see how those various kits shown in video 3 worked out. Yes….kits are frustrating but they usually turn out beautifully. Pam
@@sewcozystitching8407 That’s a long time ago to remember….lol. You showed some kits and mentioned how much you didn’t like kits but maybe would stick with a couple of them.
@@StitchingBetweenTheLinesholy moly I'm such a liar lol. Just so you know, I got rid of all the kits, even the one that was 3/4 of the way done. I think I passed them on to my daughter, at least some of them. I stitch and finish so differently now. And that full coverage elk, well I passed it into my daughter to finish it. She is on the down hill side of finishing it. I think she's at like 70% done

Enjoyed the video. I made the pumpkin quilt from fig tree too. Mine has a black background and I love it. Still needs to be quilted. I had hoped to have it done by now. I would be interested in the wool applique quilts. I went to your de-stash page on Instagram but there are no posts. I can't really afford more than 1 or 2 so wish I knew what other ones you will be offering before I commit to one.
I wouldn't buy their fabric for a quilt but for a small project like this I think it's fine. You can tell it's not top quality fabric by the feel of it
Hello! So many beautiful projects! Regarding your Crabapple Hill (?) quilt, what technique do you use for transferring the pattern onto your fabric! Thanks! Please say hello to Kathy if you talk with her. 🌻
Thank you and I will tell Cathy hi. I will be seeing her sometime this month. I use a light box and either a micro pen in brown or a frixion fine line erasable/heat disappearing pen
Cookie sheet idea is a great one. I used foam board with flannel, and instead of fabric binding, I used a fun duck tape. I made a bunch, and it didn't cost much. Great video, and now I want to stitch all the things! Have a great week. Yes I would be interested in your wool applique kits. I don't have intagram, but I do have an email and PayPal. Let me know if email is an option. Thank you.
Oh nice, 123 Stitch had them right after my last video. I added them to my cart and before I could get checked out they were out of stock. Let me know how much and I can PayPal you the money or send you the money
Some of my quilts I keep for display and some we use. But all can be used if necessary. I think using good quality quilting fabric is the key to keeping them in good shape
