Its crazy cause Afope didn't do any of the things Elsa complained about. All she did was give the facts, the rest was just the worlds reactions to it, not her fault

That little girl was like somebody disagreed with me😫😫😫😩
People don’t challenge me they agree with me😢😩😫😫😩😫
Meanwhile Afope basically proved her incorrect on some of her information and she was basically embarrassed because her subs eat the Party City Elsa wigs she wears with no question.
I thought to comment to that ridiculous bruised ego reply but single blk man vs all those whyt women……NOPE though I didn’t like how she tried to paint Afope and started typing a reply, I wasn’t dipping my toe into the curdled milk. I just knew how that would play out 😅

She's a full grown woman not a "little girl"=child...let's not infantalize a particular group as doing so automatically alleviates all accountability in their malignant behavior. Maybe you weren't doing so here but it occurs so often I just had to share:)

Oh wow, I remember that video lol I didn't know she got all in her feelings like that. I mean, some of the things she said were accurate, others not so much. Afope wasn't coming for her, she was just filling in some gaps. Imo. I was glad Afope responded to her video cuz I had some questions as well.

I mean, Afope seems to be coming from the perspective of someone who's pretty knowledgeable and assuming other people are too. Sarah was clarifying a lot of things that plenty of people think are true that are inaccurate and explaining it in laymen terms so that we can do better. I've literally been told by a stylist that protein treatments makes hair dryer and needs to be followed by a moisturizing deep conditioner.

I have to say i am glad for Sarah Ingles Video. I did the Curly Girl Method for many years which was in fact based around the premise that "hair needs water". There was the "baggy method", all the talk about "sealing in hydration" maybe some people caught on to the fact that moisture means conditioning and not actual water but based on methods and tips people (and even hair stylists) were giving a large portion of people took that very litteral. And even before that people would tell me hair is brittle because it's "dry" or that flat ironing "dries" the hair out and that we need to replenish moisture. If even hair professionals use that language consistently...how are we supposed to know? Same with the protein. In many hair forums proteins were badically taken to be the opposite of "moisture" and that you have to balance it out etc etc. Ofcourse someone like Afope wasn't confused about stuff like that but a lot of consumers were. We didn't know proteins were just another way to condition the hair.
