The “you mean to tell me in all them n**** a** cities y’all can’t find nobody to do y’all hair” is one of my favorite quotes in your sound bites 😭 it takes me out everytime!
PULLL OUTTTTT PUULLLLLLLLL OUUUUUTTTTTTTT !! In a lot of those city’s it’s all about the 40 inch weave bust downs!! Naturals are walking out of these places with breakage and heat damage. And $500 for a wash and go is crazy af… 😂
Hair is trial and error. Even when I was in school the teachers will say they learned more in the field than in school and I find that to be the same. People have stories of messing up people hair and realizing they shouldn’t be doing this and that. We have “natural salons” here and I had a girl in Sally’s tell me how her silk press gave her heat damage and she had to transition 2 years. I rather a natural salon do flat twists and etc instead of pushing silk pressing my hair all the time. I feel like each stylist has their expertise but people think all of us know how to color, silk press without damage, do intricate twists/braids, extensions, weaves, and etc when we focus on certain skills and become the best in certain categories. I think I paid 28,000 for school btw
I also think someone was kicking her back in and she found out about it. No lie, clients do be jumping around talk crap to up the stylist so they can get discounts to keep them coming back and to make the stylists feels like they can correct “someone else’s mistake”. Just like stylists be kicking other stylists back in. But she does seem like she is coming from a personal situation and comes off mad. You should never sound or look pressed in a video. But I understand when you tell a client they need a trim and they only trim off 1/3 of what should come off and then they go to another stylist and blame you, and you hear about it, that would piss you off. I love the fact that you don’t push silk presses because even though I know all the rules for silk presses, some people’s hair isn’t in the right condition to take a silk press. They might do experience some mild to severe heat damage. I like that you pick the right people who are the right candidates to get one even though someone get mad and go to someone else and end up coming right back to you. I know you be like 😈 behind their back like “I told you sis”.
I love that you always come from a perspective of experience, and always sprinkle in light respectful jaunty shade ONTOP OF THE FACT that you’re right literally all of the time. like it’s so confusing why people immediately get defensive when someone opens up the possibility that they might not be fully correct/informed and shut themselves out to growth like, yall… LISTEN TO HIM!
I love when I'm able to catch these types of vids when you're live or you post the full live coz I always watch them while I'm re-braiding my hair. Also, it's the violins for me 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks to Jennifer Rose and Moknowshair, I add my clarifier to my dry scalp 😂 It does make me feel like I’m getting my scalp cleaner faster and doing less work. Since I’m using more shampoo, I end up having enough already on my head that spreads to length as well. Now I keep seeing tutorials of women wetting their hair for 5-10 minutes before they go in with shampoo😂 I guess I get it, it’s supposed to break down old product and help the shampoo spread, but it’s not my thing. Yay! So happy to see the salon series again😊
I love coconut oil & castor oil lol. I’ve learn from experience that less is more. I don’t have to overload my hair with products & it makes been growing & staying moisturized I think had bad experiences with those oils and now are running to warn everyone else
i understand why coconut oil is bad but castor oil? its a 1 on the comedogenic scale so its considered non comedogenic, why would it be an issue? im fairly curious as i was looking into adding it to my current oils (jojoba and almond oil). would love to know more.

When she said ninja cities I screamed.
How often one cuts there hair is simple. “Are my ends effed up?” Well yes they are. Then cut them. Duh 🙄
so simple sis
Quick question though, what do bad ends look like cause I'm not really sure what my hair is supposed to look like on the ends

Point ❤
“Silk press queen” 🤣🤣
this entire time I thought that was Henni saying this lmaoooo I am deaad
She's giving everyone the same blunt hairstyle this is why she wants to cut her client's hair that often. She's obsessed with blunt wash and gos.
Well she actually does a lot of silk presses so that may have a lot to do with it
19:17 science literally is trial and error.
The scientific method 🤣😂😅
Omg... let me just keep my wigs and leave these stylist alone... this girl sound crazy 😩😂💯
