If I could offer 2 suggestions: dark hair/white comb=contrast. As you've been cutting XX years, showing the rest of us exactly what we're looking for in the comb before running the clipper would be helpful (your eyes are trained, ours not so much)

We start by using it closed to take out the bulk and then open to clean out the lines without taking too much off
