VFA-211 Fighting Checkmates Cruise Video 2012

- On March 11th, 2012 VFA-211 embarked on the USS Enterprise for the ships last ever deployment. VFA-211 and CVW-1 returned home on November 4th, 2012 and the USS Enterprise was deactivated on December 1st, 2012 at Norfolk Naval Station, Virginia.

Very cool Video! The Enterprise was my first scale model, my father builded with me when I was a 5 year old child. Biggest repect to all of you Ladys and Gentleman working on a carrier. Best wishes from Germany!

This was the first squadron Cruise video I have seen, it was shared by a Navy FB group I'm in. I was so impressed I watched a few others, or at least a few minutes of some others. No other Cruise video I've seen compares to the quality of this video. I have watched it over and over, and shared it online. Best of the best, the content was great, and the music choices were awesome. It made me proud, it made me laugh, it got me choked up in parts, and even though I was not a pilot and never served on a carrier, it brought back a lot of great Navy memories. It made me miss being at sea, being with my shipmates, serving my country. Can't say enough good things about it. Great work, BZ to all involved.

Didn't even notice the triple nickel but yeah 555 nice you got to talk to the vf11 squadron about that I still don't understand why that doesn't come up in high caps with the VF part. There it is never mind you get it. And or you just got it haha. Nachos at the gedunk in keflavik. By the way we got some dummy following you in the submarine those boys will handle it good guys to know. Even though I just had a baby by one of them gals. It's Navy stuff.
