Jesus, as He was in the upper room with the disciples
56:14 right at the end, the Bible says He breathed on His disciples
56:17 and said, "Receive the Spirit."
56:20 And Jesus also said, as we have already seen here,
56:22 very interesting, Jesus said, "When the Spirit comes,
56:24 He will speak My words.
56:26 He won't be tooting His own horn.
56:28 He'll be speaking My words. "
56:30 So you see how the Son stands in a relationship
56:33 to the Father as His word.
56:35 And the Spirit stands in relationship to the Son
56:38 as His word.
56:40 The word of the Father is the Son.
56:42 The word of the Son is the Spirit.
56:44 What we see is absolutely awesome here.
56:47 That each one stands in deferential
56:49 relationship to the other.
56:52 The Spirit comes down...
56:53 And we're going to talk about this in our final session.
56:54 ...and His job is to bring to our remembrance,
56:57 not Himself, not to blow His own horn,
56:59 but He points us to Jesus.
57:01 And Jesus says, "Oh yes, all the words that I speak

57:11 the Spirit is like the word of the Son.

The infinite risk was if the Father offered himself as a sacrifice. But if you read EGW she said the Father was above the law so he couldn't be the sacrifice. Only the Son was a candidate for man's redemption to come to earth.

I still don’t believe that the Holy Spirit is a separate person. I think the Father and Son are two separate beings. But the Holy Spirit is the spirit of the Father and son.

if God is one being, how is there a trinity? So was God a trinity while Jesus was dead for 3 days?
If you believe that it is a mystery how complex you are as a creature (all power of God)...you will believe that this Pastor has explained everything in the best way ever in the bible and the mystery in scripture remains to be made known to us in heaven, if you fail to understand the Trinity from this sermon, you may never do but ask questions....Jesus's death & resurrection was a mystery only known by God, just as He wonderfully created you. Doctors can gamble about your being but can never fully understand how you function. Just as the sky doesn't come tumbling down on you...mystery.
WHY AM I ANNOYED WHEN LISTENING TO THIS GUY
Its limiting God to think that His begotten can not be as God as Himself (Father) - in substance , character and divinity and he even bears His name.
This actually shows how unselfish God is. He brought forth another just like Himself (only) Son.
And He gave Him to human race for our salvation. Thus amazing love.
To say that Christ has a beggining does not limit him to be as Devine as His father. or make him a less God.
John 3 vs 16 only makes sense if we read bible as it teaches.
God of the bible is Father who have a Son literally not metaphors. Salvation was not successful through actors. But real.

I have found the Trinity God limited...they are things he cannot do.
But the God of the bible can do all things.
I love listening to teachings on the Holy Spirit. I don't understand the 'difficulty' stated in the title of this teaching thought.
Actually, it`s the Holy Spirit's difficulty getting through to US! LOL
JeffSal999 Thank q. Just not sure this was 'really' communicated through 'message'. Perhaps the title could be called something else then! Perhaps the intro to understanding the Holy Spirit as this was the majority of what the Pastor covered!. This is why I asked the Q's :o) Have a Blessed 2015.

Its like a table set. You purchased the set at the store, as one. You dont pay separately for each chair and then separate for the table. Its all One set. 3 in 1.
BDAPink all 3 have same authority. The Holy Spirit is God's spirit and Jesus also have the holy spirit. You cannot throw 1 being away from the Trinity for you will run into error. Relax and read your Bible

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God..It is owned by God and not someone else as trinity teaches...in fact, the book Isaiah mentioned the SEVEN Spirit of God..will you call it seven god too?

One would hope that the title would have something to do with the content.... Once again, David Asscherick, you missed horribly... This has NOTHING to do with the Holy Spirit's difficulty... Maybe you meant "My difficulty with the Holy Spirit".

I KNOW Pastor Asscherick would NEVER speak negatively about God and I think you can CLEARLY see that, can't you? the bible literally says Jesus was begotten and came forth from the Father

God cannot die. God is not man that He should lie. If GOD died on a cross it was only a third person of God that died or part of God that died.
So Jesus did not truly die. Only part of Jesus died if we ascribe to trinitarian belief..as he is the one true living God who has no beginning and no end. To confess Christ we have to believe all that he was, flesh like you and I, truly died and was truly bought back to life by his Father. This is part of our confession of faith.
If Jesus began as a baby here on earth then what he was before (in heaven) had to end - to start as a human baby. He would have been emptied of himself. Ended his own life in heaven to begin another as a human being on earth. If Jesus truly died on the cross then his own life ended. He slept the sleep of death. Jesus's life, the son of man and the son of God, ended at Calvary. And was he was resurrected to life a few days later.
Asscherick catches himself out all the time.. God cannot end. He says this himself. Asscherick is lying to promote his love of his false Babylonian triune Gods. Three Gods do not make one.. even the simplest child or ancient goat herder would know this as truth.
God did not die as He cannot. Asscherick is the master of the forked tongue. - everything he says can easily be disassembled when you begin questioning his teaching. Wake up. Read your bible. God knew the outcome of His plan. If He did not, then He would not be omniscient.
If you believe God died on the cross, then you have departed from the basic things we truly know about God. God is eternal, He has no beginning and no end. God is the one true living God - He is the almighty Father. He has a son who is our Lord Jesus Christ who came and truly died for us and was raised by his Father.
Asscherick is fully preaching by the spirit of the antichrist. Not by the spirit of God. He is developing his own theories to make it all sound pleasing to a unsubmitted, unchanged heart. God could not die. This is why He sent His only begotten son. We need Jesus. The whole world was created for Christ. It's built upon him. There would have been no love shown for the Fathers creation if there was no salvation for the doomed creatures upon it - as that would not have shown the greatest love of all.
God provided His only begotten son because His plan of salvation was perfect. God so loved us that GAVE us His son to die in that horrific and humiliating way so man could be restored what was lost in Eden. There is no 'triune god' ..GOD Himself clearly told us He was the one true living God, there was none other like Him, no one else beside Him, HE ALONE is God.
The clear word of God must take precedence over the ridiculous theoretical, philosophical patter of man and this glib posturing patsy is shown for what he is if you take each sentence and match it with his very next or cross check it to scripture. To the untrained heart and non knowledgable mind he probably sounds good. Cut to carefully edited audience faces laughing and smiling and nodding sagely at his foolishness. To me he is a man being manipulated by the evil puppet master. A false teacher that must be exposed.
The delusion is a good one but if you have the spirit in you that is holy, your eyes and ears cannot abide the rubbish that pours forth from the whores cup. The mark of the beast is the mystery dogma of the trinity. The whole 'christian' world wonders after the beast and worships the image. Who you believe in is the mark you will have in your forehead. The whore has mystery written on hers, seek to have the name and spirit of the Father in your own or you will remain drunk on the wine until the door closes and you will be locked out in eternal darkness without the feast. Making the Sacrifice of Christ into something exclusively ministered by the Roman Catholic church, is a taking away of the real spiritual Daily Sacrifice (the daily redemption and sanctification of the believers).
Rome interposes herself as the mediator between the church goer and God.
The establishment of the 3 persons Trinity doctrine is the Abomination of Desolation, which culminates in the
worship of the Pope.

there is no such thing as the trinity.....Jesus never mentions in the bible as a 3 way relationship, it has always been the father and the son. God is holy, God is spirit, God is love. Jesus is glorified by and through the Father. The Trinity is a catholic teaching.
