    Its very simple will you worship on the day that God blessed and made Holy at creation or the day that man tells you to .It was important enough to God to tell us to remember the Sabbath to keep it Holy you either believe God or not .

    @brendos444 the fourth commandment says you must remember to keep the Sabbath holy. we cant choose which commandments to follow.

    Further there is clear evidence that practise of meeting on the Lords day very early in Christian history. The Early church never put Sunday against the Sabbath. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church to this day still keep the Sabbath but also have the divine liturgy on Sunday. This gives real time support to DA Carson's book about the Sabbath where he shows that Sabbath and Sunday were times of meeting for Christians. It's clear in NT that Paul did not require Gentiles to keep Sabbath. See Colossians.

    Immortality of the soul was not an early church teaching! The Eastern Fathers always taught the wholeness of mankind, body and soul. Further, they clearly teach that no man is immortal. No part of man was immortal. This teaching continues in the Orthodox Church. The early Church was the great bulwark against the Gnostics who believed in a dualist view of man. Read Against Heresies by Ireneas of Lyon. The early Church did not teach the immortality of the soul. The Church fathers are clear on this
