    Hi folks,
    This time I thought I'd try my hand at making a fun list of my favourite and least favourite enemies from each Soulsborne game. Crazy variety of different enemies in these games and so was pretty damn tough picking what I thought were the best and worst, but here ya go!
    0:00 - Intro
    2:00 - Demon's Souls
    6:35 - Dark Souls
    11:37 - Dark Souls 2
    16:57 - Dark Souls 3
    22:07 - Bloodborne
    26:39 - Sekiro
    31:18 - Elden Ring
    36:49 - Closing Words

    To anyone surprised that I didn't choose the Jailors as the worst Dark Souls 3 enemy, I'm as surprised as you are. I forgot about them when making the video lol.
    Also, I was incorrect when i said DS2's Old Knights are only found in Heide's Tower of Flame - they're also found in the Shrine of Amana and Drangleic Castle. Whoops!

      The Royal Revenant definitely is the "gimmick enemy" of Eldenring.
      + Longrange puke with high dmg and it can proc poison
      + Teleportation cause it is a ghost and in general it has quick movements
      + Thousand slaps of doom charge that can delete a players entire healthbar twice or thrice even in one go
      + All on top of having lots of HP itself and is pretty tanky and very hard to stagger or posturebreak
      Even if you find out that using an AoE healingspell is their weakness, landing one can be tricky too. 10/10 most annoying enemy.

    My obsession with killing everything in souls games has made me absolutely despise the giant Lobsters/Crayfish. They’re hard enough up close and they are really good at keeping you in front of them, but their sniper water jet shots are one of the most insane things I’ve ever witnessed. Maybe the longest range attack in the game and it does a ton of damage. Thankfully you can skip most of them but those two at the bottom of the Subterranean Shunning Grounds were the bane of my first playthrough

      @snazzyjovialwyrm3314 2 месяца назад

      The Jailers are stupidly easy to deal with. As long as their sight debuff applies to you, they're aware of your presence and will start making their way to you, so you just gotta hide behind a wall and keep baiting them until they're close enough that you can take them out before the debuff kills you.
      I'm not even that good at Soulslikes, yet even I managed to figure this out the first time I encountered one of them. Besides, their design is sick as hell and I think the max hp reduction attack is unironically a cool concept that was really well made for an enemy you encounter in a small, cramped level where you can easily cut off their line of sight. Makes you think about the level design more. I'd honestly rather fight them than the Lycanthrope hunters in Crucifix Woods or the skeletons in Carthus Catacombs.

    Royal Revenants are so weird. Sometimes I’ll fight one and it barely does anything and the other time it goes completely ballistic and destroys me. Omens are awesome to fight and I still remember freaking out when I went through a pipe in the sewer area only to see three of them coming down the ladder to kill me.

    But you can poison arrow cheese him. Yes, you can run back to the bonfire without consequence.
    The worst enemies are the hedgehogs from the DLC. Or not if you consider how fucking funny their animations are.
    So it stands that the Reindeer from the Ivory King DLC are the worst. And the tadpole fuckers from the Sunken King DLC.

    Surprised you didn’t mention the Smouldering Ghru for DS3. Inflicts toxic via AoE, has grabs, often positioned for (limited) ganks or ambushes with other enemies. At least in the base game I don’t think anything else comes particularly close for being annoying, saved only by everything in Smouldering Lake being completely optional. The room with two Demon Clerics and Ghru still gives me trouble after what must be hundreds of hours of play.

    For me in Elden Ring, even though they're easy enough once you figure them out, it's gotta be those f**king birds with blades on their talons. I sigh heavily whenever I encounter one. Also, the giant dragonflies. They are just annoying and if you enter combat with them, you can't fast travel. Not to mention they are pretty much in every big open area.

    The first character I ever beat DS1 with had something like thirty resistance, so, it was me, I the hell was levelling resistance

    The Old Knights in the early patches of DS2 were even better than they are now. I'm pretty sure they had their stats tweaked. Either that or very few weapons were available. But they took very little damage from all physical sources except blunt. They were extremely memorable because they kicked my ass a ton to the point where I tried out a bunch of different weapons and found that a simple mace smashed through them in a couple hits instead of a couple dozen.

  • @Queek_Headtaker
    @Queek_Headtaker 3 месяца назад

    Shout-out to that one leftmost Cathedral Knight on the rafters who's armed with a crossbow. I both love and hate that guy cause on one hand, he's a cool idea, but on the other, he's the only source of the rare Heavy Crossbow (which is probably my favourite crossbow in the game appearance-wise) and he's extremely annoying to farm. Genuinely no idea why they gave a crossbow to him and him alone.
    Also, while some people suggest Jailers as the worst DS3 enemy, in my opinion they're saved from that title by the fact they drop their incredibly cool set. And they're a kinda fun change of pace making you play more carefully and lure them towards you with all those narrow hallways full of cells and pillars to act as hiding spots (but then there's a room with like ten of them that throws it all out of the window).

    im surprised winter lanters werent listed as worst for bloodborne, or at least mentioned. any mistake against them absolutely shreds your health bar, if not immediately emptying it, and the nightmare of mensis has so many in that center area. even with parry + riposte, which is easy to mess up, you have to perfectly time your riposte to avoid the frenzy, or burn through your sedatives

    Bloodborne's best design goes to the Labyrniht Madman, but if you neverr step foot down there, you're going to miss them. Also, Bloodlickers may spawn down there into places where you finished an enemy with a visceral attack. Nice surprise when backtracking, especially in depth 5 FRC dungeon.

    Hard counter the Kindred of Rot with a Greatshield and a spear then guard counter. 100% physical resistance also counters the pest threads.
