Flipping or riddling each bottle to remove sediment is not an efficient way of clarifying the wine.
This should be done prior to bottling on a large scale.

I'm sorry but you guys did something wrong. There are multiple methods of doing sparkling wine, but what you put in video is a mistake. In sparkling wine, the wine itself doesn't get fermented on the bottle but it goes on the process of double fermentation. The first fermentation it's done just like regular wine, but with low quality, because sparkling wine usually doesn't have a high alcohol level. Then the wine is bottled with a type of liquor that enables the second fermentation. And then all the rest of the process that you said is correct. Sorry but I study enology and I had to inform you.

In the meantime the French produce 8 to 9 billion bottles a year vs our 15 billion bottles - well under 1pc of what they do.

Noah got drunk on wine in the book of Genesis after the flood wine has been around a for thousands and thousands of years!
    Who thought it up initially?
Was it Adam and Eve in Eden?
It has been around as a drink for a LONG time having been mentioned as early as the book of Genesis.
