After testing this game for a while now, I can fully say that TRS2019 is without a doubt the best Trainz ever created, and the official game isn't even out yet! I still want some of the reflections etc. being fixed, but for now, this is awesome and really takes Trainz to a whole new level
I thought TANE was supposed to be that, but it was underwhelming to say the least. If TRS2019 manages to combine decent looking graphics and acceptable gameplay/framerate/reliability, I'm in.

I wonder what would happen if you took every single asset and model from every Trainz game so far and installed them into Trainz 19. If you were able to get all of them working, you would basically have the ultimate Trainz game.
The price on Steam will be the same as our Trainz Store price (or you can try it out for just $14.99 for a monthly membership along with all the extras). TRS19 comes complete with 6 routes, over 30 sessions, and hundreds of locos and rolling stock items. A single route is normally $20-$40 so individually this would be well over $100.
For those people are wondering is there in another updated on Mobile phones. No I don't know so but. N3V team is making Trainz sim 3 on Mobile right now but they don't have the date it will be released but it's worth to wait for it.

Trainz is a similar game with Protrain Perfect 2. That game is german and contains german routes. 2007: Contains lots of trains and routes, like Pro Train Perfect 2, actually the same but different places then a new game releases... 2019: A same game, with simple editing effects and tools but ultra realistic. But Train Simulator 2019, is still stupid game *because they still developing a new game, that actually is the same with the past games, just to earn more money. But Trainz Simulator, makes new and different games making it better.* So who's the winner here? Trainz of course.
the simulator is perfect, the only thing that needs to be adjusted is the lighting, as many of the poles as of the locomotives, you need to put a lighting like the Train Simulator, outside the night also that doesn’t seem noote, fix it and it will be the most complete railway simulator .
Just out of curiosity what took you guys this long to upgrade to these graphics? I mean 16 years of a franchise looking pretty similar from game to game, and in comparison to Train simulator and train simulator world which over 5 years got better and better. Just asking but I actually will be looking forward to this games release.
It will never happen because the file size would be too big and the graphics will drain your battery in less than a second. They could maybe port some older versions like Trainz 12 since all we got is a port of Trainz 2009.
Use bulk replace to update older routes to procedural and the majority of junctions are automatically updated. You will need to edit a few that are beyond the angle limits for a proper junction.
Do TS19 AI drivers obey directions better than in TANE? I gave up MacTANE cos the AI drivers responded literally as they preferred, backwards or not at all.
really why didn't you go from Trainz: Virtual Railroading On Your PC what i believe is the 1st Trainz game to the new one it would be more of a wow factor to the video because the video is sending a bit of bad message "look how far we've come .... " you didn't start from new era you started some where all the way back 2004-2002 not new era but oh well still looks like a bit of feet but like i said would of been more of a wow factor if you showed the very old Trainz to this one.

Through a $14.99 monthly membership (which includes lots of extra goodies). This option provides access for as long as you remain a member (although you do have a 25% store discount voucher while a member, so plenty of bargains ). 2. Through the normal everday store purchase as per the past ~20 years of Trainz. There is no requirement for membership.
So if i buy the DVDs i do not have to worry about losing the content i have created, that seems ok then. As to me being a member seems very expensive over time. So for me i will be buying the DVDs when they become available.

The footage is all in-game footage captured on a GTX 1080Ti. Most likely other videos do not have all settings maxed (you can turn many of the features on and off). Scripts still don't work the way they worked in TS12 The sound engine is still from 2002 Controls in cab are still very inconvenient to grab and drag Default swaying is still awful Splines and ground still disappear sometimes We still don't have ANY light sources except for the sun and loco's headlights We still don't have animated textures (for rainy windows, monitors and other effects) To me all of this is a huge step back. Who needs graphics if everything else is broken?
Romskii I just want to be able to create local trains, run through freights, yard jobs, interchange traffic with the AI, but it’s quite difficult to not have the AI mess up. It is fun to try and make it work though
@Slow 4DR as i said before, we have an awesome alternative to the default driver. But AFAIK it's only in russian so it'll be very difficult for you to understand the interface and work with it. But the possibilities are literally endless, it can do everything.
Wish you'd offer a water down version of Trainz 2019 for casual gamers to play. Just a couple steam engines, a couple routes, and world builder! Not paying $70.00 or a subscription to 'try' your game out! Maybe, at some point, when it goes on Steam, they will have a sale and I'll buy! Maybe, you'll see a value in listening to potential customers.

I think we're learning a lot - we've taken two years longer to release this version to ensure that everything is as good as it can be in that time frame. That does mean some things are still left on the "to do" list. So the choice is to wait until the sound engine updates are implemented in a future release, or enjoy all the other good stuff we have done in the meantime. Almost nobody in the Spanish community create content nowadays for this very reason (Spain in comparison with the English market is way to small, but even though, we're big), we see Trainz as it was back in 2012 and earlier, some of us we even bought a month trial to check things and see in 1st person what the changes were, but we decided to stay with Train Simulator and it's sad, cause I think since 2004, the Spanish community has been collaborating with Auran/N3V, as we have some Spanish content inside the sim's core. Pardon if I sound harsh but it ain't my intention, I'm just being critic in a very neutral way, I do hope the best for Trainz and their creators, but things in my opinion, must be done quicker, "el tiempo es oro" as we say in Castilian.

What you didn't say is that only some trains have PBR textures, that you still have the junky content from TRS2006 in it and that existing T:ANE routes will take a long time to upgrade because of the amount of changes made to the game. Its also $70 USD.

N3V Games Okay. Now that you mentioned it, maybe considering this game isn’t a bad idea. I wonder if I can set up the lighting to be the exact same as the default lighting in T:ANE. I’m just so used to the way T:ANE is more than the others. Thank you for the tip.
The ambient lighting can look great in this TRS2019. But the shiny, glossy appearance of many assets is grotesque. It's as thought several locos, cars and other assets have been sprayed with clear acrylic gloss. It's indiscriminate. Even some people. I have the Early Access version now.
@@tagsdm There was a bug in the Early Access version you have where certain materials were glossy. THe latest beta update has resolved this and of course the official release version will also have the fix.

yes there is the DLS and 3rd party websites, but on certain 3rd party websites there's payware, probably because of better looking locomotives.

Builtin is 6 routes, 30+ sessions, and several hundred locos and rolling stock. Quite possibly this will be our largest ever content set. This of course doesn't include the thousands of free items from the Download Station.

Hey n3v games you know what I noticed, you need to have trainz a new era, and trainz 2 on goggle play games, I have yes downloaded trainz but, I want to get trainz a new era and trainz 2, make it happen, I want trainz 2 on my android, but no i cant

What you didn't say is that only some trains have PBR textures, that you still have the junky content from TRS2006 in it and that existing T:ANE routes will take a long time to upgrade because of the amount of changes made to the game. Its also $70 USD.

The routes for Trainz are built by content creators from the Community. Content is always being updated, and in TRS19, you can replace or bulk replace items yourself.

Not sure what you mean here. Most TANE routes are available already for immediate download. The vast majority of older content can be imported easily.

The whole lighting in Trainz 2019 looks way to shiny, compared to T:ANE. I’m gonna stick with T:ANE.
Lighting is totally customisable (as is pretty much everything in the game). You can make it as dark and gloomy as you like.
N3V Games Okay. Now that you mentioned it, maybe considering this game isn’t a bad idea. I wonder if I can set up the lighting to be the exact same as the default lighting in T:ANE. I’m just so used to the way T:ANE is more than the others. Thank you for the tip.
The ambient lighting can look great in this TRS2019. But the shiny, glossy appearance of many assets is grotesque. It's as thought several locos, cars and other assets have been sprayed with clear acrylic gloss. It's indiscriminate. Even some people. I have the Early Access version now.
@@tagsdm There was a bug in the Early Access version you have where certain materials were glossy. THe latest beta update has resolved this and of course the official release version will also have the fix.

You can get a free copy of TS2009 by logging in to MyTrainz and clicking on the Newsletter menu option. TRS19 might be free in another 10 years:)
