MohawkNotMountain id imagine you’d need a better PC to run TSW over this. Could be wrong however but I’d assume so being that TSW is quite poorly optimised, and railworks is built on a older engine than the bible.
I think Trainz finally reached a much antecipated level of realism, that was expected and yet not fully delivered in the past. Congratulations to the team, the final result looks amazing. To bad here in Portugal the very small comunity of railroad simulator creators simply gave up from Trainz long ago.

An absolutely awesome game and so glad it's now released. As beta testers, the Trainz community has done a fantastic job inn ensuring this is definitely the best trainz ever. It's been an interesting last 6 months as build after build improved along the way even a few stumbles here and there. I have now ditched TANE almost entirely apart from 1 collaborative route build, everything looks better and runs so much better than TANE and I can honestly say that I am very proud to have played a small part in the development of TRS19.

Trainz 2006: 20 routes (including that masterpiece of Modula City) and ~5k addons, all ready to use. Trainz 12: ~10 nice routes, some pre-installed content and a few nice DLCs. Lots of HQ free stuff on DLS compatible. Trainz: ANE: barely 4 routes and literally 92 DLCs. Some of them aren't even worth the price. Trainz 2019: "Please pay an additional $39,99 to unlock Driver Mode".
Dear N3V Games Team, as former hobby railroader and now through coincidence and a stroke of faith a real railroader, I have to say that your games have heavily influenced me since 2009. I associate really good memories with your games and it ended up with me choosing my career path even though I first refused it. I wanted to ask for a special add on. I would love to see the German Rheintal Strecke and more from Karlsruhe through Schwetzingen and Heidelberg, over Mannheim and all the way to Frankfurt and Hanau. It is a beautiful, interesting and exciting route with the second biggest freight yard of Europe and arguably the most important international freight route for Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and Austria. It would make me really happy and I think it would be a tremendous addition to the game. Do you guys think you can make it possible?

Does this come with ready made scenarios? My son has no interest in building layouts, just 'driving' trains on realistic routes. (and Windows 10 would be the preferred OS)

There's no way to upgrade. What you can do is buy *now* TRS2019, because it is with a huge discount. And if you want to move your content is save them in to .cdp files and transfer it in the new game.

Can someone help me out with this? I started downloading the Canadian rocky mountain route that came with the game. I ran out of space on my computer and had to clear up some space and when i went into the game the area where you download the content that comes with the game didn't even have routes textures and trees and all the scenery was gone and now they are all unknown assets that you can't get online.
Bani Musa Trainz Simulator are good game but I still prefer DTG Train Simulator more. First, I like their routes because it based on real life routes while Trainz mostly are fiction and less real life routes. Second, Train Simulator have so many mods out there like Jet Train, Super Class 47, Super ES44DC & more! Too bad, Trainz Simulator never had cool mods like Train Simulator have.

I got the game but there’s a problem with it. The base boards keep getting deleted and my paint keeps getting deleted even if the *overwrite existing session* is checked. Anyway to fix?
I have a small issue which is putting me off and I haven't been able to play it. I downloaded the game onto my F drive as I have limited space on my C drive. The game downloads fine. When it comes to installing the content for Trainz 2019 it downloads into my C drive SSD at no obvious folder. I can see the space of my SSD getting lower and lower as the content downloads but I have no idea why it's downloading there and cannot find a folder where it is downloading into. Very frustrating.
It is downloading in to your local data folder. You can check the path in the Trainz Settings > Install tab. You can delete the /cache folder once the content is installed to free up space. (Or move the folder - click the link on that tab for help).

Isn't this what trainz: a new era was supposed to look like... Yeah that's right I remember the kick starter videos! Yet when it came out it looked just like the older version of trainz 😂 I definitely won't be buying this after getting ripped off with tane and that was in the steam sale.

Isn't this what trainz: a new era was supposed to look like... Yeah that's right I remember the kick starter videos! Yet when it came out it looked just like the older version of trainz 😂 I definitely won't be buying this after getting ripped off with tane and that was in the steam sale.

@@railwaycityrails8552 Lol I'm sure its not a sponsored but I'll still pass on it, it felt that TANE was a cash grab so it puts me off buying a Trainz game again unless they offer a good enough reason to change my mind in the future.
