The ones with gold trim weather a bit better.Those with bare tin tend to rust pretty quickly.
That's cool man! I have one that's about 50 years old. Kerosene seems to blacken the glass up a lot quicker too and I have used diesel during an ice storm once it stinks but it will make light lol
