I actually have one of each of these (a scout and a sport). The Scout needed a little work to fix the rusting tank. But I like the old Dietz lanterns, they’re better than the ones made in China! Please keep the videos coming!
Hey Nathan, just found your channel. I recently found a Van Camp No. 180 Air Pilot and I have got everything to restore except for the fuel filler cap, any ideas where I might find one of those ? Love the channel content......
You can often find these on eBay, or even finding an entire similar lantern that is in bad shape but you can get the fill cap off of. Another option is to go to WT Kirkman at lanternnet.com/product/w-t-kirkman-1300-embury-fuel-cap-7-8/ that link will also show you some of the compatible lanterns.
