- BUY BETTER BARGAINS! | HALF OFF ESTATE SALE | ANTIQUE VINTAGE DEALER
Estate sales in well appointed homes with high-end antiques and vintage curated by an antique dealer don't come up often! We take advantage of this rare opportunity to buy quality collectibles at great prices in this sale, scarfing them up as fast as we can carry them.
Join me as we scour a house, garage, shed and outbuilding full of every kind of vintage collectible imaginable, all priced at half for their clearance sale. We did our scouting and think we know where the deals are...until we find an entire level of the house we haven't seen before! Art glass, concrete statues, tiles, Lucite purses, even an old mailbox gather in our stack of goodies. Can we fill the entire table with reseller gold?
Try as we might, we just can't have it all, but we get to show and enjoy a whole lot of true antiques and valuable vintage as other bargain hunters ferret them out during our hours at this resplendent home. We hang out in the parlor (where the others are afraid to go), root in the basement corners and dig in the out back piles. $1125 later, and it's going with us in the van!
Here's more of what we see in this lovely home as we madly shop:
Midget seeder, wood churn, license plates, nautilus tiles, miner's lantern, Britney Spears poster, screenprint glasses in caddy, weeping gold shakers, mailbox, cobalt relish, wood churn, uranium glass 1930s cake plate, bakelite cutlery, Loetz type glass, carnival trunk vases, Fenton Olde Virginia vases, Fenton cranberry opalescent beverage set, Victorian enameled tumbler, spelter bust, McCoy Cascade bowl, cast iron banks, cast iron railroad car, girandole set, Zsolnay, McCoy grape vase, Admiral Dewey and Lion covered candy bowls, cranberry hanging lamp, Capodimonte, Victorian print, quilt top, Old Paris porcelain, Meissen compote, Arcoroc Arches, mantel lusters, Victorian end table, vitrine, Verona deco table, 1960s rotary phones, mantel ewers, perfume bottles, Haeger mother & child, RS Prussia berry bowl, Royal Bayreuth bowl, camel inkwell, celluloid owl page turner, barometer, Disney movies, moccasins, comic books, HO trains, Lionel train cars, toboggan, fireplace screen, French pine sideboard, log cabin dollhouse, etc.

Im a old antique nut, would have bought the two pink Victorian urns on the left and all the RS Prussia... and the pink brides basket and the pink lustres in the dining room. And loved the hand painted tumbler and the gilded water/ lemonade pitcher.
When they have my estate sale at some point in the future, you might enjoy coming...
I do love the true antiques! I think we don’t see them because so many are already in collections like yours. I hope you get to enjoy them for a long time to come
So much beauty, wow. Thank you feast for my eyes.
Love it when people enjoy color
I understand about looking for the very last little item you might want. You can get so ....we you know It was fun shopping with you, thanks.

Thanks for sharing, George! Take care!
You too!
So great how you explain the items you find.
Well thank you! I"m so glad to see your comment and that my usual style is helpful
When you said, The four seasons, I thought Vivaldi but you thought Frankie Valli. That made me chuckle. Beautiful little statue though.
One of us is clearly more cultured than the other lol
@@TheAntiqueNomad, you're far more knowledgeable than I am lol. Love your skill in finding so many interesting things.
@@genieb6922 There are paintings, too, called The Four Seasons, such as by Sebastian Vrancx.
Wow! That was so much fun!
I had a blast
George! It's so much more gratifying when you make a lot of purchases. That was wonderful!
Well it is for me too! I'm particular so it was neat to see lots of goodies at once
You bought the beautiful violet glass. That is now on my bucket list of items to find in the wild.
Yes! I’m glad you caught on to that, it can be pretty
👍👍👍👍👍love many of those items!
Me too!

Love my bear!! Was on vacation, and just got to open the box today. 😀
Happy vacation! I'm glad he was there to greet you
This sale was great at half off. I could even buy some stuff on my budget for it. Thank you for taking us along with you. That one set of jars blue with little clear circles was beautiful at 21:19 in your video. Those would have been sitting on my dresser for sure. Wow on some of the furniture pieces too. Have a great day
George Oh my I have always wanted a Lucite bag as I am a handbag snob. Luv much
They're so great!
Great fun George !!
Thanks!
That was fun! I learn so much by tagging along with you!
WHAT A DIFFERENCE HALF PRICE MAKES---truer words have never been spoken!
I'd have gone again for 60 percent off the next weekend if I'd had time
I enjoy watching you shop. Looking forward to seeing you at Rose city vintage
Thanks for another informative video.
So glad!
Wow! Great haul🛍
Yes I’m still just getting to the bottom of it
I love learning from you
Thank you!
It would be hard to stay on a budget at a sale like this but like you said these kind of sales don't come around often. Really enjoyed all the beautiful items in one place.
This one's worth blowing the budget for and figuring you'll make it up elsewhere lol
Great fun and buys😊
The first estate sale I went to 30 years ago was like this! They come up about once a year
Nice and as always very interesting
Thanks so much!
Wow! That was amazing!
I thought so too
This is my dream estate sale. ☺️
Me too ready for another!
Wish I were there. Your on my bucket list!

I'm glad! I enjoy it too and I'm glad it shows
Hey George! Happy Birthday!!! 🎂 🎉
Your half-off pile was already looking great, at the go! Love the churn and tiles! I would've been a nut-case in all that glass and china...ALL of it!!! I saw a Northwood "Memphis" green pitcher there...not my favourite pattern, but the green does seem to get interest. Nice pair of lustres in the dining room. That Meissen was fantastic! Great deal on the Wavecrest! I actually like crazing...would've bought the cider pitcher😉 I would've bought the Goofus-like vases, too. Finding a pair is great...you know me and Goofus😁 Your haul is looking like a treasure chest!!! I liked those decorative mantle ewers. Mother has one with green hobnail glass in it. Loved the R S Prussia!!! That camel inkwell is great!!! There were some nice old frames there. Geez!!!
If I had gone to that sale, someone would've HAD to have gone with me...to carry the straightjacket to put on me🤣🤣🤣
Great video, George!!! Thanks for taking us along!!!
You have a great eye, I knew it was Northwood but didn't know the pattern name on sight. There were so many other things I would've bought had the prices been just a little better...but it sure was fun. I knew you would've enjoyed being there!
I so want a lucite purse
buy-itis - love that!
So cool!
It was pretty great
Nice finds!
Sure was grateful for this one
Love that run of red lockers
I thought my house was stuffed - but this is quality - my house with money
That Chinese chandelier was fabulous and the black floral rug was great
Hopefully there’s a 75% off day….
It makes one feel better to see a house more clogged than their own! I wish I'd have been free the next weekend, of have bought more at 60-75 percent off
Nice haul
😃
So much fun and education to watch you "cherry pick" the antiques! Very helpful Great Video Thanks
You are so welcome!
Love the preview. I can hardly wait for the full episode.
The preview is so fast it's just a tease!
Oh, I'm so glad you got the tiles. Those were my favorite things in the first video.
I got two the first day and two the next, I really like tiles
@@TheAntiqueNomad Me too.
What a fantastic video !!! Total eye candy all over the house.🙌🏻
Very seriously sparkly
Wow!
i woulda went wild, nice haul!
It was impossible not to do!
Going through every video of yours I haven't watched...pumping my brain with your expertise to get ready for the RT 127 Sales. Road trip! This sale looks like a honey hole with an amazing variety. Thanks for sharing, truly enjoy your travels.
Thank you, I enjoy them too and I'm glad it shows! I hope you find some info that lets you buy something great on the 127 sale
Very interesting seeing you curate your purchases for your inventory. I love a half-price sale. I think you showed tremendous restraint!
I could've bought more but I like to be able to price to sell quickly so I held back
Fantastic
Thank you!
Amazing. I loved all the furniture, the wrought iron the garden sculpture, and seeing glass I had not heard about before. Thank you.
I figured it was a great chance to show things you don't see every day
So jealous of the fenton stuff love it all and your far from Arizona
I'm sorry that's true but I ship!
Fun fun fun
I thought it was!
wish i was there shopping
What a great opportunity and such glorious treasures! 50% off estate sales are fantastic and this one certainly didn't disappoint! I would have filled my car since I was drooling through the screen! 😆
Me too! I couldn't fit more in the van or I would have
I love your videos . Thank you
Looks like the type of hauls I am always hunting for! Lots of glass and vases. Love that lavender Viking! The lucite purses are some of the prettiest I’ve seen. Excellent haul-I’m so jealous...
It was terrific
Thanks for the education!
You needed that light blue princess telephone. You can give it to your loved one for those long distance pillow talks whilst you are away. Why, the color even matches your eyes.
Aww a romantic! My eyes seem to vary from sparkling blue to murky green
I can't believe you bought so little! That place was a real feast for the eyes. Many of those things haven't been seen in a long time unless it was at a high end antique show. You may regret not buying more but it is so different for a collector vs a dealer.
Oh I would've gone back the next weekend and spent as much again if I'd been on town. They just needed to discount a little more for dealers
Thank you George. I'm learning so much from you. I'm a new viewer.
That is awesome! I hope you have fun, join us in chat Mon and Wed at 8 pm eastern for premieres of new videos if you like
Great video! I would of lost my mind there and my wallet. So many beautiful things. All the glass, sigh, just beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Felt like I was there too.
I'm glad! I wanted you to share the real experience
I am a new subscriber and I’m loving your videos!!
Thank you so much! I"m glad you're having fun, me too
It was a great collection but it also reminds me of how collections can get out of control if you’re not careful.
Yes and yes. She seemed to have her collection and her inventory well separated but then it all went out for the sale
This was amazing!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
It was a good one!
Another Master Class in Estate Buying. THANK YOU, GEORGE. I understand about the "Buy-itis" state of mind. I had it this past weekend. When I need to go to the ATM for more cash; should be a warning sign for me.
Yes I take cash and when it's gone so am I! Except that one time...
Terrific video
Love watching these to see what is out there and what the market is for it. Thanks George!
Thank you! I figure it's informative
Wow that was great..but no fairy lamps. I so want one.
I was looking! I'll keep trying for you
@@TheAntiqueNomad thank you
Love it !
Me too
This is going to be a great video!
Thanks John it was fun!
Wow I love all your things. Great finds 👍❤️
Thanks good fortune
Loved everything you purchased and so many beautiful pieces to see. Plus another reference to our B-Town. So fun to know you were raised here too.
Yes grew up near Brownsville
Hi George, thanks for sharing all of your purchases; I'm glad you were able to take advantage of the half-price sale; I like half-price day at the local estate sales but I've never seen a collection this big @ the markdown price. Thanks again and have a great day.
It was just so much to start that there were bound to be things left!
Those shoppers sure know how to blab
My microphone couldn't get enough of them... They came through louder than I did at some points!
Oh my gosh George! Once again i was in awe of these items and your knowledge. I never have an opportunity to see remarkable pieces like these in my little podunk western town. I think it's so sad to see the decline in value of many of these extrordinary pieces. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Things are turning around though. Prices changed when eBay showed us what was more common and available than we imagined when we could only see our local market. Now 25 years of eBay collecting has taken a ton off the market and into collections
@@TheAntiqueNomad yes, ebay certainly changed the collecting world.
Hi George, Great Video!!! I love the Lucille purses you bought. 💜
I sure do too!
I love the Burmese. I have yet to get one for myself yet.
Hi, Katherine! It's a really nice adjunct to the straight green. How are you?
This was an AWESOME video!! I was swooning...❣
Love glass....! There was a lot of intriguing items all across the board! Luv learning! Thank you...thank you!!😁
I learn stuff by doing it and it's fun to show it
It's so fun to see you so excited. I love the Fenton swung vases (carnival glass?). They are amazing!!!
Hard not to be! The dark ones were iridized carnival glass, yes
