It's like Seth Meyers and his two foster childs
Right? I was thinking how typically (for comedians) insecure Bill and Fred are and how absolutely normal Seth is.
I kept thinking this is what an interview with Robin Williams would look like if he split into three people.
@@inkooh8 Underrated comment
If I was that girl and Bill started saying my name and promised to take a photo I would have died on the spot. I was blushing while listening to this on RUclips, I can't imagine actually being there

3:40 for those who are looking for it :)
Made my eyes wet
Hands down the most adorable moment
When Bill slipped into the Stefon voice for that woman... ugh! Such a sweetheart!
i loved it because bill would normally rather die than do the stefon voice for a reporter/interviewer but he'll do it for sweet fans

"Fred Armisen's a hit... by lightning" oh my god i'm dying.
Boo to both of you.
The joy Bill Hader’s laugh brings me is literally adding years onto my life.
I love times like 48:35, where you know Bill has a bit going on inside his head that we can't hear, but it's just cracking him the hell up...
Not literally. Words have meaning and your words are ridiculous.
Exactly! Also I think the 712 people who agreed with your lovely comment is so much more powerful than the idiot troll trying to piss in your cereal.
“...emotion is a weakness. Crying... because crying shows that u are falling apart.

"Tell me who you are. I know who you are, but tell me who you are, today!"
I have watched this so many times now! Seth is always really quick to pick up a joke but he doesn't do the voice because he knows Bill is so good at it, so he hands it over and when Bill makes a bit out of the joke Fred gets on the boat instantly because they're so in sync. It's wonderful to watch the close friendship here!
Sunny Bear basically showing how great of a writer he is especially when he knows his performers are.
OmyGOD sameee! I watch this like its a movie
This, it’s really on top of being a panel about DocNow it’s also this beautiful social study of some of the greatest comedic minds and voices and performers of the (early if not entire ) 21st century
@@popeye697 ?
I liked how they clearly used a girl vocal to Bills Blue Jean Committee character... and just over and over they just say the most crafted wordplays and some things they say are nonsense but if you really read some quotes by "famous" people... esp "artists" who most times are not the brightest bulb and say things that just make it into the cultural quote fame and made into something that if you really had context would find that a writer or publisher who were going to the editor with this interview took what the artist said and seeing it was nonsense then tweaked it... run it by the artists manager to signoff on and had a much better story... which in the biz most stuff of legends... is made up and then adopted by other famous people as witnesses that can then place themselves into the legend and its value to their career... which is the joke they are most times just saying... hey yeah fame and all its trappings are nice but once someone takes themselves too serious it is the point where most should say ohh yeah... what I have is very very lucky and to just suddenly say I am not going to sell out or be artificial... when Hollywood and fame is actually arificial... that is when most actors or famous start the nosedive.
Because if you get too big or become a pain in the ass... well they can also us that against you to feed the press and build up someone elses career and carpet bomb your oblivious ass...
"Don't even joke about that, it's making me sick..."

oh my god bill is so funny. you can tell he's more comfortable and loose around his friends and their relationship is so great
This was easily the most fun I've had watching a panel discussion.
Seriously.
seriously, even the panel hostess did very well
Watch the one Bill does with John Mulaney
Watch the panel of "Oh Hello on Broadway". That one literally hurt my abs (or lack there of)
Watching Bill and Fred just riffing from each others jokes is such a treat. They clearly have great respect and admiration for each other.
Sunny Bear Which is awesome, considering the first time they met, Hader was a Production Assistant (PA) for this Bob Odenkirk HBO thing, for which Fred had been asked to do his earliest bit, a martial arts instructor who is not good at his job, and Hader's job was to pick him up and drive him around. Hader's never mentioned this story to Fred when they were on SNL xD
Sunny Bear oh boar!!
I appreciate how this interviewer is gracious and understanding of their antics.
She's excellent. She's well versed on the bits and "gets it" instantly. It would terrifying for most people to try to host this convo with these quick wits.
Meh. Her segue/transition style sucked. Hader even mocks her at one point ... "Okay..."
@@JoeyMartz That's not how you spell that word
I thought the interviewer was terrible and more concerned about asking her questions then going with the flow of what they were saying, not to mention every transition being “okay...” Lord it was awkward.

I love that this moderator knows exactly what to do when you have three SNL veterans sharing a panel together -- just let them go. They'll take care of you. Just laugh along with everybody else and wait patiently for them to give you an opening. They're the consummate performers, you will know your turn when they politely hand it back to you.
They're like comedy shepherds.
Great job moderator.
Totally agree! Best moderator/host I've ever seen for one of these group interviews. 👍

Bill Hader is the sweetest for talking to that girl!! I love him.
I want a road trip movie of bill, fred and seth as themselves.
You know, seth being the patience one and the other two doing all the shenanigans.
That reminds me of Seinfeld's ''In cars/coffee" thing, which would be so much better with these guys because Seinfeld just isn't funny.. Btw, Seth did one of those and it was pretty cool, but would have been hilarious with Fred and Bill.
Y tu mama tambien starring John, Bill, and Kristen
Bill laughing uninterrupted from 50:00 to 50:20 is exactly what i need for the rest of my life
Seth and Bill nodding in unison at 53:53 to Fred's setup is perfect.
how does anybody get through an interview with bill hader without crying!
I just love how Bill completely changes when he is around people he feels comfortable with. Like u can see that he is a little uncomfortable in some interviews that he does alone but w his friends you just cant stop him. So unbelievably funny and charismatic and charming.
49:48 i can't get over bill's laugh. BILL FREAKING HADER EVERYBODY
I love how when Bill snorted at 3:45 everyone started laughing harder lmao
This improv level is through the roof. oh my god i'm going to look forward to these three together every year.
I love how Bill laughs with his whole body.
Armisen's Iceland bit at 14:12 is shriekingly brilliant.

Seth lmao
@@amalyahelizabeth5470 then fred calls seth pretending to be a morning radio talk show host and wakes seth up at 4 in the morning, right when seth was able to fall asleep.
I don't have time to read through all of the comments. Has anyone said anything about the interviewer's ability to keep up with these these three? That had to be a lot of work: like roller skating on ice....
I'm suddenly having a vision of an SNL sketch about trying to interview Seth, Bill, and Fred in front of a live audience. And, in walks Kristen Wiig...
Right? Not enough recognition for her imo. She's perfect for these three; so many interviewers wouldn't have the timing right. Speaking of that, what a high-wire act these three are doing without getting in each other's way. Perfection.
Perfection, Jeremy Bow, that would be perfection!!

at exactly @55:00 minutes into this for some reason i suddenly remembered that bill made out with both of these guys. man i dont think i have had friendships where you're that fond of eachother ever in my life
Their Ken Burns bit had me in tears. I sort of wish they did a show that was just the three of them riffing bits.
bill being stefon to makenzie was so cute aww
This is the comfort video of comfort videos
They should make up fake projects and just have these three do press tours for them. I could watch them talk for hours. It is so damn funny. If you think about it, they could make up the wildest shit about fake projects. Yeah we got Mike Tyson and Martha Stewart for 'Un-Boxing Tyson', but we didn't realize they used to be married. It was a messy divorce. Martha stabbed Mike first day of filming.
52.29; Bill 'McKenzie get ready. I'm gonna be a major disappointment.' I love him so much.
32:56 "There's been a lot said..." Watch the knowing look between Bill and Fred. They know what question is coming...
Great interviewer. She let the guys have fun, and run with it, and took the jokes directed to her just light hearted. She never showed frustration with the bits, she probably was well prepared for this.
I appreciate the fact that she told the audience that these guys had been doing a huge amount of press all day. Junkets are hell for most people, and these guys were tired and stressed by the time they got here so it was kind of her to acknowledge how hard they were working.
The Doormen remains one of my favourite SNL skits ever. I get why it didn’t air but watching Fred and Bill laugh so hard is contagious.
I’m just now stumbling across this (2016 was a less than stellar year for me) and I find myself wondering if there’s ever gonna be a time when Bill Hader isn’t the most adorable guy alive. I then thank the gods of The Funny for allowing me to be alive in this era.
And I will come back and re-watch this video 3 times a year, every year. Seriously ❤
I love these men so much
Thank you for inviting them, 92Y,
It's been one of the best interview.
And special thanks to the host, I think she's doing really great job, letting the guests feeling free and willing to share more of themselves with the audience.
