Ever see a basketball player who gets in a rhythm and scores 50 points in a single game? John Mulaney was the comic equivalent of that here.
Yup, or like a batter going .400 for a month or more... you gotta appreciate those flashes of greatness when they appear.

Man, I love an hour and a half of Nick Kroll pretending to be an old man and John Mulaney just being himself
And Nick Kroll is actually the older one!
They said in another interview that they love doing the show because it allows them to be their true selves- John is mean and Nick is a baby.
John Mulaney can do no wrong. Literally. No. Wrong.
John, if Delta ever DOES get those charges to stick, you know where to look for a juror, eh? Wink-wink.

I cant believe this is free. I can believe this duo’s improv sets are ten times better than most netflix specials
But, Oh Hello! You can watch their special on Netflix!
Kroll mentions how he thinks that Mulaney is more-or-less a genius during interviews, and you can really see it in this performance. Over and over again, Mulaney comes up with the wittiest responses and Kroll is just chuckling trying not to break character. I think Kroll is the better actor, and they're both obviously sharp, but I get the sense that Mulaney is a _very very_ smart guy.
Fully agree.
He went to Georgetown as (based on all of his stories) an alcoholic. It's where he met Kroll. His parents also went to Yale. Mulaney is honestly one of my favorite comedians. I get that I'm commenting insanely late but I just love this interview.

It's hard for me to imagine anyone funnier or quicker than John Mulaney.
Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase pre-cocaine.
Baxtron o can u let someone give a compliment without running it to show everyone how much u know about comedy?

Yes I fell asleep watching john oliver and autoplay eventually led to this and I incorporated the audio into a weird dream before i woke. A fever dream is a good description!
I love watching Oliver completely lose it right around 39:30 when George / Mulaney talks about sitting in a Rite Aid next to someone's "dying abuela"

I left a John Oliver video on when I collapsed on my couch due to a heavy hangover, with autoplay switched on. This is a great example of the genius that is John mulaney and nick kroll, nick thinks of something hilarious on the spot, and seconds after he finishes setting up the joke, Johns already thought of 35 great punchlines.
