David Gaston when a gem has a star on their uniform it represents they are a crystal gem, and peridot has been a crystal gem for awhile and Lapis just now became a crystal gem. All they’re missing are their stars which represent they’re a crystal gem, and now they got poofed so then they can reform with their stars.

Well she was the only one willing to hear Steven out during the Trial. Yellow just wanted to shatter him and get it over with. And she got angry at Yellow when she poofed the two Zircons. She's not necessarily "good" She's just the better of the two antagonist-diamonds we've seen.
I just want to point out that ONLY Peridot and Lapis get poofed Lapis and Peridot are also the only Crystal Gems with Diamonds instead of Stars So... PERIDOT AND LAPIS SHALL GET THEM POINTY STARS ON THEIR OUTFITS

So many reunions! Ruby and Sapphire fused into Garnet, Lapis and Peridot were reunited, Steven and the Cluster were reunited, and Blue and Yellow Diamond were reunited with Pink Diamond!
The beginning of this episode had many call backs to previous things we've seen. - The single facial hair from Steven's Birthday - The razor Garnet gave him from Three Gems and a Baby - Steven's pose from the old opening.
Yellow is more powerful than blue by a little but blue is more merciless. Ruby stated that she was a shatterer in a past episode and peridot said that yellow was the nicest of the diamonds. It shows too because yellow gave peridot multiple chances, but sapphire and ruby slipped up once and she threatened to shatter them both
