Hi Richard, great to hear from you again. thank you for your in debt research, it was very clear to me and answered some of my questions. Here in the Netherlands we have only one international rate, most likely we pay the highest rate to all countries I guess, otherwise it would not make sense to me. Did you look into that aspect of international mail as well? For now I wish you and all viewers of your channel a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Erik
Hi Erik, Thanks for watching and for your comments. Here in the UK, we have a single rate for small international letters and postcards. The rates vary, however, when sending registered letters, large letters, or parcels. Are parcels in the Netherlands also subject to a unified rate? I believe the Netherlands pays different TD rates to various countries but sets a unified rate for the convenience of senders, in line with the spirit of the universal service obligation. Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Was just wondering about this and couldn't find a better explanation than this video! Thank you for your work and happy holidays. (if you still have a card, would love to have one :))
Hi Richard, I am probably too late, but just in case there is one left, I would please like to get your postcard. It is BEAUTIFUL and it is special because it illustrates xtreme philately. I love your channel and videos. One always learn something from your excellently structured and scripted videos. Thanks for this interesting video about international mail as well. I wish you and yours a beautifully blessed and merry Christmas, and a prosperous and special New Year!
Hi Richard, this was an interesting topic. Sadly our postal service in South Africa is very bad. Usually it took one to two weeks for a letter or card to reach my friends overseas, now it can take up to 6 months or more. I would really like to receive a postcard from you. Thank you for your videos.
Love your channel. Another great video! Thank you for the time time and effort you invest in creating these very interesting and informative videos! If you have any cards left, would love to receive one. They are quite beautiful. 😊
Wonderful video. Very well explaned and interesting topic. Thank you for your research Richard! Have a nice Christmas! (P.S. I would be interested in a postcard)
Nice video Richard! I recently started reading about this subject and gave up and postponed for another time, quite a mess. I'd like to get one of those postcards, if still available. Thank you very much.
Hi Richard, great video as always! I'm happy to be fortunate enough to catch one of your video's so soon after you release it. I would love to receive one of the postcards you made. I will send you my address!
Hi Richard thank you so much for this comprehensive video about international mail! I knew only the very basics of how the upu formed and not any of the modern day changes or difficulties with the system. I think Canada is similar to the UK with regards to other shipping carriers being more affordable and more reliable. But what can you do... Thanks for the video!
@@StampCatStamps But I believe you don’t need £2.8 (about $5 CAD) to send a international postcard 😂 Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas to you, stamp kitten and his dad😉
@@RichardPhilatelist Well, no... Not quite that high yet. But all of our rates are increasing by 25% next year 🙄. Our international standard mail rate (including postcards) will then be $3.58 CAD (1.99 £). Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

All 10 postcards have been taken. Thank you so much for your support!
