Silent treatment has become the most used form of mental abuse/punishment. I've been given the silent treatment from just voicing my concerns. This is what the self proclaimed "good guy" does. They ghost for days, go entertain other women, then come back with hopes you don't bring the issue back up! They don't want accountability! They know what it means and it's intentional because they don't see no harm if they not physically abusing you.

I was in it for a couple weeks then decided I’d just move on. Literally days later met a great man who has been showing up consistently every day since. Complete opposite. When you’re ready for a real man, you let go of the grown boys and a real man will step in- but it takes letting go of the boys first!!
Unless you have God's discernment and wisdom, it takes about 2-4 wks to notice a man's patterns, and that is when you walk away. It seems everyone has the formula for when you will meet someone special, but what works for me is letting go. Having zero desire to be with a single sole. Not looking forward to dates, text, calls, nothing. Just at peace with myself. That might not be the mindset for most women but I usually see action when I am not attached to an outcome.

My ex narc during our almost 1y distance relationship done it many times. Starts with 3days always was ill or has broken phone. I started wondering after 4th time but acting like I dont care. During pandemic he told me hes doing it (silent treatment) because hes hurt and was angry on me because he cannot see me. But last time he was gone for 3 weeks and texted me that he tried to commit suicide and was in jail. It was over for me. Another supply was the answer. I was scared he is in hospital or killed himself because I loved him. Now Im free person. It was a good lesson. Girls dont let them play on you and be strong!

After two days of silence my husband of 40 years he came to me, apologized for his silence and promised to do better. He has never done this before. I have been silent guided by Christ in a particular situation where it was the wise thing to do..in a few cases a matter of life or death. Silence is healthy if you are genuinely listening to someone while having a heart to heart conversation or in a learning environment 😌

Giving a man thre silent treatment is two things from experience: he does more or ge moves on. A grown man who is lost will do things for example he should have been doing during the course of the relationship or he will keep living and move on to something else because rarely do a man bow down to a woman unless he in his heart loves her or his ego hurt. I tried your technique and just moved on with my life. I didn't give this ex no warning. A few weeks later ( notice few weeks) he's wondering what I'm doing, very anxious, he seem very paranoid. So as a woman I figure he was dealing with some other life stuff ( video games and looking for easy woman on IG) He wouldn't have a clue of a different side of me, meanwhile I bookmarked everything I already knew about him in line with what you said about grown boys. Tony I kid you not it's like I was watching a movie or show in real life of a few of your videos. He had asked me to breakfast. Iagreed literally to put your teachings into practice. My new skills and wow,I clearly see his childish ways. I also learned a lot about the power I already had because usually the men try to manipulate head on when I'm right . He was so confused away my new reactions, quietness but he never said anything new or took any accountability for past. I definitely could see where he was playing game and where he was just ignorant at in his mind. I stayed mostly quiet and simple to no detailed respones. He thought he would start where he left off. Mhmm the devil thought he had me!! A week after that I didn't bother with him. I was on IG randomly and there he is ( suchnsuch started following you) I never seen him that desperate. I blocked him immediately because I don't want no soul tie or play games. From my experience a grown boy would has the same desperation of a grown girl in silent treatment, it's just not the same way a female goes about it. He does it in actions. He'll come off polite, randomly purchase things for me that he think I'll be shocked by, text you goodmorning everyday, ask do you need stuff. I think to sum it up he acts more concerned, he's trying to basically do anything he thinks I would like to for attention to get back in. This reaction from men that I've dated short relationship under a year. He's 6 years older than you Tony. I just wanted to make the point these men in there 40s to 50s act like grown boys and some still lousy because things happen in there past and also I didn't have standards that I such with because I allowed him to gaslight me instead od just leaving him alone. He got me early on with the manipulation when I called him out on it 8 weeks in almost. He didn't want a smart woman. He definitely wanted control in the wrong way. He's definitely insecure. The lord's strength was working in the midst of his crazy mind set and I ca discern a lot and I can tell by his reaction I was right about things. He started enjoying me and being distant. I left him right where his actions had me. He cont'd to play dumb. He had no clue to the type of woman I am or could be. Unless you have God's discernment and wisdom, it takes about 2-4 wks to notice a man's patterns, and that is when you walk away. It seems everyone has the formula for when you will meet someone special, but what works for me is letting go. Having zero desire to be with a single sole. Not looking forward to dates, text, calls, nothing. Just at peace with myself. That might not be the mindset for most women but I usually see action when I am not attached to an outcome.

Tony, this is the best information.. I am married and my husband has habitually used the silent treatment to "Tame" me. I am currently experiencing the silent treatment because my husband is in his feelings... I have endured long enough, this has gone on for months and this will be our end. Not fair to me, he is unreasonable.

My ex narc during our almost 1y distance relationship done it many times. Starts with 3days always was ill or has broken phone. I started wondering after 4th time but acting like I dont care. During pandemic he told me hes doing it (silent treatment) because hes hurt and was angry on me because he cannot see me. But last time he was gone for 3 weeks and texted me that he tried to commit suicide and was in jail. It was over for me. Another supply was the answer. I was scared he is in hospital or killed himself because I loved him. Now Im free person. It was a good lesson. Girls dont let them play on you and be strong!

I’m guilty of the silent treatment but its me shutting down basically.... because I don’t want to fight.
Thank you Tony, I took your advice and approached my silent treatment man about his silence and how our communication sucks. After two days of silence my husband of 40 years he came to me, apologized for his silence and promised to do better. He has never done this before. Tony when I approached him, I didn't curse, yell or scream at him. What a difference.

Wow..Tony..my Son is 37..he married at 23..I advised him against it but he is striving as a husband and father and financially successful with his own buisness he started at 19 years old...the age I knew I had did all I could as a single parent for him..I put him out of the home it was tough love with a whole lot of critics but it is what made him the man he is today

Silent treatment used regularly is a form of emotional abuse.
I have been silent guided by Christ in a particular situation where it was the wise thing to do..in a few cases a matter of life or death.
Silence is healthy if you are genuinely listening to someone while having a heart to heart conversation or in a learning environment 😌

Giving a man thre silent treatment is two things from experience: he does more or ge moves on. A grown man who is lost will do things for example he should have been doing during the course of the relationship or he will keep living and move on to something else because rarely do a man bow down to a woman unless he in his heart loves her or his ego hurt. I tried your technique and just moved on with my life. I didn't give this ex no warning. A few weeks later ( notice few weeks) he's wondering what I'm doing, very anxious, he seem very paranoid. So as a woman I figure he was dealing with some other life stuff ( video games and looking for easy woman on IG) He wouldn't have a clue of a different side of me, meanwhile I bookmarked everything I already knew about him in line with what you said about grown boys. Tony I kid you not it's like I was watching a movie or show in real life of a few of your videos. He had asked me to breakfast. Iagreed literally to put your teachings into practice. My new skills and wow,I clearly see his childish ways. I also learned a lot about the power I already had because usually the men try to manipulate head on when I'm right . He was so confused away my new reactions, quietness but he never said anything new or took any accountability for past. I definitely could see where he was playing game and where he was just ignorant at in his mind. I stayed mostly quiet and simple to no detailed respones. He thought he would start where he left off. Mhmm the devil thought he had me!! A week after that I didn't bother with him. I was on IG randomly and there he is ( suchnsuch started following you) I never seen him that desperate. I blocked him immediately because I don't want no soul tie or play games. From my experience a grown boy would has the same desperation of a grown girl in silent treatment, it's just not the same way a female goes about it. He does it in actions. He'll come off polite, randomly purchase things for me that he think I'll be shocked by, text you goodmorning everyday, ask do you need stuff. I think to sum it up he acts more concerned, he's trying to basically do anything he thinks I would like to for attention to get back in. This reaction from men that I've dated short relationship under a year. He's 6 years older than you Tony. I just wanted to make the point these men in there 40s to 50s act like grown boys and some still lousy because things happen in there past and also I didn't have standards that I such with because I allowed him to gaslight me instead od just leaving him alone. He got me early on with the manipulation when I called him out on it 8 weeks in almost. He didn't want a smart woman. He definitely wanted control in the wrong way. He's definitely insecure. Funny thing I asked him would we be friends if we weren't to work out. He said that he couldn't see me dating no one else. If I was to leave he said he wouldn't feel bad, that's stupid that he'd just live his life. Well, he sure chasing and going through people trying to find out about me. The lord never left me. The lord's strength was working in the midst of his crazy mind set and I ca discern a lot and I can tell by his reaction I was right about things. He started enjoying me and being distant. I left him right where his actions had me. He cont'd to play dumb. He had no clue to the type of woman I am or could be. I just thank God I see clearly and he brought you as the icing on the cake as fast as teaching us that are instinct and boundaries are not false
When you speak about not sharing the upgrades and renovations that you've made to your home, you are absolutely right. when Kim Kardashian was robbed it was by people that followed her and they had been following her every move and her every post for like 2 years. 20 people were involved in the robbery, so you absolutely right about that. People do not have your best interest at heart although you may have theirs at heart.
